Sherry (sp?) at the front desk was wonderful..very friendly, very accommodating. The location was exactly what we needed, hop, skip and a jump to the lovely beach. Bathroom very clean had nice touches with towel art and toiletries. We didn't cook, so couldn't attest to those needs, but standard utensils and dinnerware.💜

Loved the fact that it was beach front and it had a full kitchen especially if you didn't want to go anywhere.

Tv should of been on a different wall with a swivel so you can watch it either in the kitchen or the bedroom. My wife does a through check of the room and Underneath the bed was not clean. We was too scared to move The shower head because it was facing the wall and looked like it would crumble if we moved it. The net on the wall was just thrown on there should of been more spread out. The washer and dryer was looked rough needed replacement badly. Me and the wife just think if there was just some simple things done around the hotel would make it so much better. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we will be back.

I have seen previous reviews about some guests mentioning the hotel gives nostalgic vibes, as a foreign visitor I could not confirm this, although the equipment does give the feeling of going back in time. Nevertheless the room was clean and we were completely satisfied with it for a short stay of one night. The gentleman in the reception was very kind and supportive. The location close to the beach is superb. The hotel offers beach chairs as well.

To reach grocery stores or restaurants taking a car is suggested, but since almost all visitors are coming by car this should be no problem at all.

This property far exceeded our expectations! It was a very short walk to the beach. Having the gas grills available and kitchens in each room made making dinner by the beach a breeze. The room was really spacious and roomy perfect for our two kids running around. They had a closet completely stuffed with sand toys, water toys, pool floats, beach tents, and chairs! The staff was more than accommodating, the washer was full of quarters and wouldn’t accept anymore so the office staff did my load of laundry in the office so we didn’t have to travel home with wet clothes! The location was perfect, we were able to watch a rocket launch right from the beach and it was within a 10 minute drive from everything in cocoa beach. We will definitely be back!

Easy access to the beach. Best cost benefit

The staff here were absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were traveling with a group that included our disabled grandson, so I called ahead to request first-floor rooms to accommodate his wheelchair. Not only did they take care of it right away, but they also made sure all three of our rooms were together, which was so thoughtful and made our stay much easier. The motel is right on the beach, and the view is just beautiful, literally steps from your front door. The grounds are clean and well-kept, and there's outdoor seating available if you want to enjoy a meal outside, which we did and absolutely loved. While there isn't much dining within walking distance, the office staff was more than helpful in providing us with great delivery options and recommendations. The rooms were clean, and though the place may not be the most modern or upscale, it’s filled with genuine hospitality and kind people who truly care. If you're looking for a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere in a beautiful beachfront location, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Not many places to eat within walking distance.

We loved the location, the relaxed atmosphere and the quiet surroundings. The sounds of the ocean and the little bunny that visited everyday. The fellow at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The pavilion, hammock and grass yard made for a nice stay. The South Beach Inn was exactly what I was expecting!

The only minor inconvenience was the width of the walkway on the second floor. If it was a foot wider it would have been perfect. Like I said it was minor. We sat outside our door in the evening, and was a tight fit for guests to walk past.

Location is excellent. Beach access is amazing and they have a great space to run around with toys in a closet! The 2 bedroom set up was fantastic with a well stocked kitchen. Nice details like cutting boards, full fridge, extra bedding in the closet, nice linens, futon. I would definitely stay again.

Parts are just dated, which is just petty. I liked the old tiles for example! Bathroom had an original toilet maybe (not too much pressure) and shower handles that were not like each other. One bedroom had the window tape sealed shut to accommodate the air conditioner. (The other bedroom had a nice wall unit though)

Sherry. If it weren't for her, I don't think we'd keep going back without trying other spots on Cocoa Beach. Sherry creates the mood, environment, and welcoming feelings for a relaxing trip. Sherry is one of the most customer-focused people I have ever had the pleasure of engaging with. In addition, other staff members have treated us in a friendly, respectful, and courteous manner. Kudos to whoever decided to hire Sherry. A business is only as good as its people.

The unit wasn't as clean as it has been in the past. The refrigerator and freezer had dirty areas. The drawers weren't all clean, there was dirt under the bags in the trash cans, and there was a little food under the bed. I've been visiting long enough to realize it's time to upgrade the furniture and appliances. Painting is no longer enough. I don't know, folks, you probably already know this without me having to type it up. You have some terrific people working for you and a fantastic location. Start putting money back into the place to avoid clients being too embarrassed to tell people they stay there.

The beach is literally a 10 foot walk to the beach. The rolling waves can be heard from your window. I like that even though you may not smoke in the rooms, they have lawn furniture and sitting areas all over to have a cigarette. I loved that the room I had the most comfiest bed, it's like a studio apartment with a walk in closet and a bedroom divider. Love it.

The hot water doesn't last very long in the shower. Water pressure is AMAZING, but the hot water lasts about 5 mins so don't let it run to get up to temp or it never will
