It's really a great place to stay in, I especially loved that it was a place where you can disconnect from the world and enjoy the beauty of the Finnish nature and the sunsets by the beach, the personnel was so kind and helpful, they took the time to show me around and to give me practical information which I appreciated the most, it felt like I am staying home!

The hotel is quite far away from the city however there is a bus every hour that can take you to the city center, which was a great option to enjoy the city as well, the bus takes you literally from the city center to the parking of Meri Karina.

- Ample parking space - access to refrigerator, microwave, cofee/tea maker. coffee vending machine, soft drink vending machine - pool table, lots of toys and games for kids - Very clean rooms - Beachfront. you can litteraly walk there a - 15 min drive to Turku centre - definately worth the price

Nothing to complain about

Air condition - a luxury during the height of summer. Clean and decently sized rooms. Super comfortable beds. Easy access to swim in the sea from a pier. Quiet and calm. Great views of the beautiful nature.

Not directly apparent from the outside where you are going when first arriving or supposed to park.

location was good, it was quite and peaceful. It is value for money, I would visit back again with my family for short duration.

It was not hotel by default. Hospital building was turned to Hotel, you will feel the ambiance of hospital during your stay all the time. Every room has a bunk beds, if family of 4 (2 adults + 2 under age children) are planning to visit, I would recommend to book only one room.

The location and views are stunning, it’s so peaceful and my room looked right out on the beach and lake. I was able to cycle around the island so easily from here. my room was wonderful and very comfortable - and I was warned that the restaurant would be closed so I brought food I could heat up there. the sauna and pool were lovely and I was the only one in them. the staff were very helpful.

I liked that it is a wellness spa and has the feel but others might not.

Nice and peaceful location, plenty of parking space and seaside next to you. The pool & sauna at the premises were excellent. Shared common kitchen also available.

Rooms were quite basic, but OK for the price.

It was very nice that there was a possibility for swimming in the sea! 😍 It was nice to watch the swan and duck families on the beach. 💕

Not the most modern place if that's what you're looking for but the place was clean and had everything you could need for a couple of days outside the city. Bus stop 2 minutes walk away and 20 minites bus ride to the city centre. So I'd recommend it if you want to spend some quiet time but still be able to see the city.

Only downside is the bus timetable. One bus every hour to the city centre ... but it's manageable if you plan in advance

Very cool place. Like a bit in the sanatorium. Lady at the reception was super nice. Everything super clean and set. What can I say, I really enjoyed the stay 🙂
