quiet clean view

As we let ourselves in we did not have contact with anyone. A note in our room letting us know if or when breakfast would be served in the morning would have been appreciated. A meat replacement (available at any grocery store where they sell tofu) would also have been appreciated as I am a vegetarian.

The setting of the cottage includes---urban deer, quail, songbirds. The dining table permitted conversation in large group and a table setting in the bay window allowed for fewer. One can see the water from the property. Proximity to town center allowed for walk about to shops and the farmer's market

Laurel is lovely. Gracious and caring hostess. We had the run of the house pretty much and she was usually around and a wonderful conversationalist. Breakfast was delightful. Room was super cozy with a nice outlook.

Parking was adequate but a little tight. There is a church next door and it turned out we all know the priest. Maybe a small contribution to the parish might free up some additional parking :):):)

The cottage is very nice and cozy, being at a walking distance from the center and the shoreside. Laurel is really friendly and provided us lot of useful information about places to visit, walking paths and food. Breakfast were excellent and appetizing, with toasted bread, eggs, bacon, jam, fruit and coffee, far beyond one's need. Truly recommended!

Very nice private room, the location is ideal and Laurel is an amicable host. She even prepared an extra early breakfast for us because we had to catch a ferry.

Laurel is such a nice host, she has prepared yummie breakfast despite we have not been aware, this was included. And helped us with great sightseeing advice. So definitely a place you easily feel at home even far away!

The meals and accommodations were good. Host was very friendly and offered numerous suggestions for what to visit in the area.

Our room with 2 twin beds was small, but we knew that going in.

Everything! The breakfast is awesome, beds are comfy and the host is superb!

Nothing that I didn't like. This place is amazing as it is a few min walk from the shops and close to the beach.

Walking distance to the beach. Friendly and helpful hosts. Clean rooms and bathroom. Easy self checkin. Free parking onsite is essential as this location lacks public transit.

The restaurants close early on the island, and many are closed Monday and/or Tuesdays. A guest fridge located in the guest space would be super helpful to store groceries. And guests wouldn't feel bad to have to disturb the wonderful hosts all the time.

Laurel has a beautiful home, clean and comfortable. The hosts are super nice. We especially enjoyed our time in their sitting room. They have an electrical piano and RCM piano books from level 1 to 8. My daughter was happy to practice her pieces. I myself found several interesting books. Now I am looking them up in the library, hoping to finish.
