Absolutely thrilled to share my wonderful experience at Elysian Retreat! From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The breakfast was simply divine, offering a delicious assortment of fresh and flavorful options that catered to every palate. Each morning felt like a special occasion, with impeccable service that made me feel right at home. Speaking of service, the staff at Elysian Retreat were exceptional. Their attention to detail and genuine warmth created an inviting and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect, making me feel like a valued guest. The facilities were top-notch, adding to the overall luxurious experience. The pools were a highlight for me, offering a serene escape to unwind and soak up the beautiful surroundings. While I did wish for a bit more privacy between the rooms, there was still a good amount of seclusion, allowing for a peaceful and intimate retreat. A special mention must go to the massage with Nik – it was simply phenomenal! Nik's expert touch and soothing techniques melted away all my stress, leaving me completely rejuvenated. It was, without a doubt, one of the best massages I've ever had. Overall, my stay at Elysian Retreat was nothing short of extraordinary. From the exquisite breakfast to the outstanding service and serene facilities, every moment was a pleasure. I can't wait to return and experience this slice of paradise again!

It is everything I have wanted from Santorini. The staff were incredible since the day I booked with them online. They arranged everything from restaurants to ATV. They have been helpful along the whole trip. My room had an inbuilt heated pool which i could enjoy privately. The beautiful sunset is visible and can be enjoyed from the hotel. I recommend booking your stay with them.

They booked a dinner at Above Bistro, breath taking location and did not inform us about the price of the dinner which was on the pricier side (€250 excluding drinks). I believe it is important to share price ranges so that the client is aware.

The property was fantastic- we really enjoyed our stay and Antonia was lovely - she enjoys talking to us and is super helpful and friendly too! The downside for us was on our last day- check out was at 11 and our flight was at 9pm! We asked Konstantina if we can extend or have another room until about 5 pm on the day- she simply said no without trying to understand the situation we were in! There is no shaded spot and we had to walk in the sunshine about 40 deg for 5 hours with the children and did restaurant and bar hopping! It would have been helpful if we were advised of plans in case of an early checkout!

Lack of advise in case of an early checkout and late flight. There is no shaded spots or malls where you can go and shop or chill and as such walking in the hot sun seems to be the only option- this can be dangerous and risky for adults and children!

The property is very nice. And the host very friendly. The reception is at a different place and our room was a couple of streets away from the reception. So, while checking-in, we felt quite stressed and daunted walking through the steep inclines to reach our room. But the main parking area of Finikia town (which is like the main pickup or central point to start all activities) is quite close to the rooms, not having to go through the reception street. So, once we found that out it was quite a relief. Infact, we never visited the reception again, except for the check-in. After check-in, all further communication with the hosts was through WhatsApp. We later came to enjoy walking through the small, winding streets of the town. The property is little away from Oia town's starting point. Though it is at a walkable distance, but going further into Oia town and returning back to the hotel room is a long walk.

The accomodation is STUNNING! The views are so amazing from the terrace and the room is exactly what we imagined our dream Santorini stay would be like. The staff are amazing and super responsive via Whatsapp and do their best to be as accomodating as they can. Also, the breakfast is DELICIOUS, having that on the terrace with an overview of the Santorini horizon was one of the best parts of our honeymoon. Love it! Super easy to catch a shuttle to Oia and the buses to Fira are just as easy to catch.

At times the wifi would disconnect at nighttime but bar that, no other issues!

We stayed in the 2-bedroom villa for 4 of us. Beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds and bathrooms. Lovely large lounge with fridge, kettle and coffee machine. We had a nice terrace where breakfast was served and our own plunge pool. Located in the small peaceful village of Filikia near Oia where there was a choice of 3 or 4 lovely tavernas within a couple minutes walk.

As breakfast was not cooked on the premises, it arrived lukewarm and you had to eat it quickly. It's a bit of an uphill walk from the parking so would not suit anyone with mobility problems. But all in all a wonderful stay.

The room was amazing. We loved the architecture and interiordesign! Also very clean and luxurious. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine which was very friendly. The room was quite and the staff helped us with our luggage which is very helpful with all of the stairs! Be aware you are not staying in Oia, but a nearby (authentic!) village. There are a few good restaurants nearby, with a good vibe and good food! Also we were allowed to use to pool nearby. If you choose Elysian you choose for a stay outside of the buzz and views of Cadera, but you have a lovely stay. Would recommend it!

It’s quite a walk to the main village of Oia, takes about 20-25 minutes.

Well maintained villa with own outdoor pool/jacuzzi in a serene environment of Finikia. Good selection of Greek breakfast brought to the villa every morning by the helpful porter (Ibrahim). Excellent,friendly and accommodating staff at reception.

Inadequate storage place during our one-week stay. It maybe difficult to increase storage space due to the cave-like interior design but can be improved by provision of a decent sized luggage rack.

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Affordable enough to be close to Oia while not being right in the middle of the crowds and 'hustle and bustle'. We had a 1 bedroom with a couch which was very spacious and clean and was connected to only one other villa. The hot tub right outside was super clean and cool during the day so it was perfect to use as a 'pool' as well. Every aspect of the hospitality was perfect...from check-in to baggage to housekeeping...we couldn't be happier. The walk to Oia was an easy 15 minutes on a foot path, but it was hard to leave because the restaurants in around us were amazing (especially because there were no crowds so everyone was so attentive). Overall, if you want to enjoy the relaxation Santorini offers while being close enough to the nightlife, this is the place to go.

Although it didn't bother my husband or myself (we are early 40s), the property is very steep as far as climbing up and down winding paths to your room, restaurants, etc. You dont have to carry your own bags upon check-in or out (which was awesome) but it can be a bit difficult it in the heat for your day-to-day excursions.

The place was super clean and we loved the plunge pool to relax in in the afternoons after a long day exploring! Bed was comfortable and shower was huge! The staff were really attentive and helpful too. It was lovely getting our rooms cleaned with fresh towels and breakfast delivered daily.

At times our room had a bad sewage type smell when we had returned but then it went away after a few minutes so we didn’t bother telling the staff as it was often at the end of the day. One day it seemed the cleaners had tried to put spray to help but seemed to be to do with the drainage/pool system etc. There was only one small mirror in the bathroom so it would be great to have a full length one in the main area. Also it is mentioned that the pools aren’t private however I didn’t realise we would be sharing the front porch area with other rooms but everyone was very respectful!
