Very close to the centre, we stayed in one of the apartments in a separate building. Apartment was spacious with excellent facilities. It had lovely high ceilings and a comfy lounge to sit in. Clean and plenty of towels. Staff a bit variable - some great, others ignored us. Had a very good evening meal in the bar, great seafood. Parking easy on the street outside the hotel

Curtains needed rehanging in both bedroom and lounge - was hard to get the bedroom dark enough to sleep. Decor in the main building is quite dated, as was our bathroom. Breakfast service more chaotic and they allocate you a numbered table to sit at when you arrive for breakfast. Despite the niggles, it was good value for money and we would return another time

We stayed in an apartment only steps away from the hotel. The kitchen, living/dining room, bedroom and bath were all spacious and comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel was included. We also had dinner at the No 1 Bistro at the hotel both nights and were happy we did. The food was delicious and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The location was great for walking and free on-street parking was very convenient. I would recommend the property and would definitely stay there again.

Short walk to town if you need it. We were only stopping one night on our road trip so we booked dinner at the hotel restaurant. Very good food and staff friendly. Parked the car outside on the road as suggested...it was fine. Nice touches in the room including a little after dinner drink. Breakfast buffet and fresh cooked options..all good.

Slightly boring decor and dark wood furniture. Needed a contrast colour to set off the beige!

We received a warm welcome and we’re shown to our apartment which was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was basic but had everything we needed for a short stay. The bedroom and lounge were both large and comfortable. We had a lovely breakfast which set us up for the day.

The bathroom was small compared to the rest of the apartment which is not really a problem, but the shower was not great.

Excellent breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lovely greeting on reception.

Desert (apple tart with ice cream and custard) was inedible. Custard was like water and ice cream had melted by the time the microwaved desert was cool enough to eat. Spoke with the waitress but the item was not removed from the bill even though we were unable to eat it. Real shame.

Warm welcome. Very helpful and professional staff who were all very friendly. Comfortable accommodation. We stayed in an apartment which was well kitted out. Although we took all meals in the hotel you could have catered for yourself if you had wanted. The food was exceptional. The best meal we have had. Thank you for your welcome.

Nothing it was all great

Warm welcome and lady allowed us to store camping equipment in the function room, rather than on our motorbikes parked on the street. The shower was good, especially after a long and very wet ride through the glens to get there. Bed very large and comfortable. Again much appreciated.

Initially concerned about parking on the street as bikes are more vulnerable to theft and damage but we were able to park outside the doors and street quiet, wide and one way.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Dinner in the restaurant was superb. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a buffet style of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries and more and also hot food cooked to order. A great way to start the day. We had a lovely stay.

The location was very convenient for access to the town and we would have enjoyed walking by the river if not for the torrential rain. We were given a warm welcome by the receptionist and were very grateful for the lift as our cases were heavy. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal and a very good breakfast the following morning. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We were a little disconcerted by the little figure of the disabled boy in the bar area.

Lovely location in centre of wick. Excellent staff from check in right through to breakfast . Room was basic but that’s what we needed and was value for the money . The breakfast was a 10 out of 10 .,

Room was a bit murky but opened window went for walk around town and room was fine on our return . We did book 1 hour before arrival so maybe no time to air off room .
