Everything was clean, and the beds were warm and comfortable! Check-in/check-out was super simple and we appreciated the bags with the cookies/water bottles. It felt a lot more personal than your average hotel.

Felt like I had a little trouble with the locks. Took me a couple tries for the front door to unlock/lock it from the outside. Also the room door, I’m not sure I actually got it to lock. But that could also just have been my error.

A beautiful place to stay—a true gem! As visitors from Europe, we felt like we got a glimpse of what it's like to truly live in America. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, adding to the sense of comfort and authenticity. The space was clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything about our stay made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

We've stopped here multiple times on our way from Virginia to Michigan and enjoyed it every single time. It was much more than we expected and Kathy and Marc have always been very kind and welcoming. We especially love that it is NOT a hotel room and doesn't have a television. The biggest bonus is the walking distance proximity to the shops and restaurants in Canal Winchester so that we can unload from our trip then get some fresh air and exercise on our way to get a meal.

The only complaints I can think of are that the toilet seat doesn't stay up due to the design of the bathroom and shelving--but this is not a big deal at all. And as someone who likes firmer mattresses, the mattresses have been a little too soft for my comfort, but my wife and kids did not mind.

The staff went above and beyond. Their communication before, during and following our departure was exceptional. They left us a goodie bag, information on the area, restaurants, bars, things to do, etc. They even communicated with us and let us know that if we forgot something or need something to not hesitate to reach out to them.

Nothing. If I HAD to say something, the air did not work great, but that could have been user error as well :-)

The Guest House is a beautiful historical home in a lovely neighborhood. It has a quaint little parlor when you enter the home for hanging out and relaxing. The rooms are cozy and have several amenities, including shampoo and shower gel dispensers in the shower. They also provided water bottles, cookies and danish!! We thought that was a nice touch! Karen and Mark are get hosts and responded promptly to all our questions! We thought it was a great value and would definitely stay here again!

My upstairs room was comfy and private. The bed was very comfortable. With only four rooms the guest house is a nice quiet place to stay. I spent two weeks there while attending a nearby workshop.

The fridge was small and not cold enough.

It was so thoughtful of the hosts to provide a bag with water and baked goods, although honestly the cookie I had was just OK, so I didn’t try the roll. But it was a very nice gesture. Liked the books and guides, history of the house, comfortable bed, and the obvious care taken to give us a good experience. Nearby restaurants and neighborhood were wonderful.

The toilet paper was extremely thin, and the one lamp between the beds was fairly dim, so I couldn’t read in bed.

I did like your little welcome bags on the bed those were yummies and the location was really nice

The pillows were awful I had to get a blanket out of the drawer just to get my pillow. my husband's bed made so much noise it sounded like he was in a box of popcorn

This guest house is immaculate. Clean and comfortable and it felt ‘like home’ the moment we walked it. There were treat bags on the bed when we arrived which was a nice touch. It was easy to find in a beautiful neighborhood. The owners go out of there way to make you feel comfortable. The self check in is smooth as you receive your instructions prior to check in time. We will definitely stay here when visiting the area.

This is a historical house turn into a guesthouse that is charming, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the little downtown bars and restaurants with friendly people all around. The owners are very accessible and live in the same lot, and they are such nice people.
