Convenient location & car parking. They were proactive in texting me the details of the after hours key-safe service as it approached late afternoon.

Freezer compartment of the in-room fridge was iced up, limiting its usefulness. Room was a bit air-less but I chose not to resort to using the AC because the weather was mild. I had to adjust the sound settings in the TV to improve sound clarity. Power points were hidden behind the bed, would be useful for them to install a visible power adapter extension.

I enjoyed the parking in the front of the room, like in the US movies ;) The motel is very conveniently located, next to a highway, a petrol station, convenience stores and restaurants. If you're not used to drive on a left side - perfect location for overnight stay. Room was big enough to store all our luggage we had on our two motorcycles. Room was clean and had all the necessary commodities like teapot, small fridge and even the microwave oven. The mattress was very comfy, the bed linen and towels were nice and clean.

We really liked the welcoming and friendly receptionist when we arrived and picked up the keys. Unfortunately I don't remember her name, she was such a nice and very friendly lady. We also liked the location of the motel, right at the entrance to Eden, we didn't even need to look for the address, we saw it as soon as we arrived at the town. We also liked the cleanliness of the room, as well as the smart TV that was connected to the room internet and we enjoyed watching our favourite shows on YouTube while relaxing in our room, this is a feature that we didn't find at a 5 star hotel in Sydney!

The bath was pretty old in the tub, which was still pretty clean, but old style, that you need to get in the tub to take a shower 😉

Location and long walks on the wooden platform pathway to the other side of the lake. Very tranquil and meet wetland birds and yellow furthered cockatoos. You can meet friendly peacock in the back yard too. Took heaps of photos of the surrounding nature. Staff was very friendly and information about the place and nature walks was provided on the onset to our stay. Excellent stop over if journeying up to merrimbula or coming back towards Melbourne. Killer whale museum visit in town was really interesting. 25 minutes video on history of the place, Eden and it's whale hunters have their stories to tell, lots of history. Beautiful ocean views. We love it.

The bank closes at 1 pm in town, one major bank, the CBA. I have no complaints about the motel stay.

Exceptional wifi connection & Netflix for movie night or after dinner downtime!! Loved the location being close to the center, its cleanliness and spacious and well equipped as a self contained apartment. **Definitely a ‘value for money type of accommodation’. :)

It was perfect other than one slight thing that can be improved, which is the pillows (perhaps, a couple of option to choose from?? As my in laws complaint that they don’t able to sleep well because of it).

Good value for money. All we needed was a comfy bed for a stop over to break up a long drive and halfway hotel didn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for fancy and new this isn’t for you but if you want something clean and basic, albeit dated this is perfect. Staff member was very friendly and welcoming too.

Could do with some cosmetic upgrades.

Everything is great, the bed is made up and towels are changed every day. There is nothing to complain about except that the tap in the bathroom is leaking eventhough the taps are turned off. The motel is at the main street and near to all amenities.

Clean comfortable bed. Location was great. Price very good. Pleased to have a toaster, kettle and bowls and plates with utensils. Just what we needed.

It was small which we didn't mind. The taps were hard to turn off and the sink needed replacing

Price, location and cleanliness. The room was old but the bed was brilliant, reverse cycle aircon kept us comfortable. Plenty of options on the TV but unfortunately after the first movie it wouldn't.let me select another one and at that time of night no staff oncall for these issues.

Front door was not a deadlock or such so when you go out the lock could be relatively easy to unlock.

Superbly refurbished hotel and excellent service from Charmaine and Mark. Travelling on vacation in Australia I could not have chosen a better location to stay in Moruya. Charmaine organised my room as I arrived early and was very helpful and friendly during my stay and in the advice she gave for my onward travel. I cannot recommend Hive hotel highly enough and will definitely return if my travels bring me back to Moruya. Many thanks.
