The staff was very nice. Great location. We walked everywhere. Pool area was excellent. We stopped in at a few hotels & The Edge had by far the best pool area. We loved the rooftop bar & grill. Great food! Rooms were very nice. We had a view of the pool & the Gulf. Breakfast was included which is a plus. Very pleased. Would definitely go there again.

The room was very clean, inviting, the gulf view balcony was awesome. The pool was a nice hangout and relaxing spot, situated great to take in the full sun.

There are four elevators total, however two are broken down due to the hurricanes last fall. This has led to long waits and confusion of how to get around, as the layout is not great without all of those. The staff did not inform us of this, leading to further confusion. Take the stairs to get down and the elevator to get up. The breakfast provided is subpar for the location. Not much offered beyond yogurt, fruit, cereal and tiny pancakes.

Room was very spacious, much larger than a typical hotel room. Pool area was very nice. We enjoyed having the pool bar. We ate once at the rooftop bar and sat next to the fire pit.

Food at the breakfast was just okay. We were surprised that there were no hot meal options. No scrambled eggs, potatoes or meat. For what was charged for breakfast this is less than what should have been. The yogurt needs to be refrigerated. Food at the rooftop was okay. My brisket was tough and fatty. The parking garage was huge with lots of available parking for the busy spring break week.

As a local resident of Pinellas County, I was impressed and enjoyed my stay at The Edge. I booked a room (King) because the office Christmas party was next door at another hotel. I believe I got the better deal for the price. From the beautifully decorated Lobby to the hallways that didn’t have that “interior hotel hallway” smell, and the bed & pillows that felt like clouds, it was well worth the price. And we had a balcony! I wish our stay was longer because I didn’t know about all the wonderful amenities included in the Resort fee. Also I didn’t know the pools were heated! I guess reading is fundamental lol. If you’re reading this and trying to decide, choose this one and book it. The front desk staff was friendly. Housekeeping and facilities were very friendly and helpful. I was like tipsy coming back from the party, they made sure I made it to right floor on the elevator lol. We listen and we don’t judge.

If you love cereal, the free breakfast is for you. Please upgrade the breakfast area. The danish was a little dry. The bagel was good though!

The gulf view room was beautiful. The room was clean, housekeeping serviced room daily. The location was convenient and walking distance to lots of things in the area.

I did not like that I was charged an additional fee for breakfast daily added on my room. The breakfast selection was horrible. Wasn’t much of a real breakfast . Breakfast area closed at 10a.m & I was unaware of the time. I went in for 9:45a.m & the guy standing there collecting tickets cut the lights off on my family at 10a.m while we were getting the little breakfast selection items they had available. We received the items in the dark which was unacceptable being that we entered before closing time & paid to have that mess.

Spacious rooms.

There was no gym in which I thought I chose a hotel with a gym. Restaurant only served breakfast—had to go other places for lunch and dinner. Beach was in walking distance but I thought it was beach front.

It was mostly clean and very welcoming. We loved our room and balcony off the room, the view was incredible. Staff was very professional and customer service was great. The bed was super comfortable, loved the pillows.

The carpet in the hallway to our room and the first half of the room was stained and appeared unclean. I’m not sure if they just need cleaned or replaced. Also, the shower head was old and rusty, the water only came out with partial flow.

I really enjoyed my small weekend trip. Breakfast was awesome and had all the essentials. The fresh grapefruits were the best! The pool has an incredible view, we found ourself at the pool the whole day… who needs the beach! The bar by the pool was nice; and having the restaurant on the top floor was nice. We didn’t have to leave the hotel for a whole day because it had everything we needed. (Which is helpful after a long travel day) The rooms were super clean, including the balcony!! We will defiently be back!

The shower pressure was my only flaw of this hotel. I felt myself showering double the time just To be able to rinse the soap off. The AC unit worked very well, but it was super loud and woke me up everytime it kicked on. (But I’m also a light sleeper) Also, i think there should be complimentary water in the hotel lobby.

This hotel was fantastic! The views were outstanding! The roofbtop bar restaurant was great. I loved having breakfast every morning. The day i spent in the infinity pool Jimmy Buffet music playing with a pina colada was by far the best day I've had in a really long time.

Please upgrade to better quality pillows and better water pressure in the shower. Maybe a few more breakfast options.

Great breakfast included. Awesome view from the balcony room in the Gulf side and most spacious 2- queen room we've stayed in.

The front desk guy was frankly rude/ arrogant in his tone and replies when we asked questions upon checking in. I came back to the desk 5 minutes later to ask another question, and he was sweet as pie to the older gentleman checking in. I'm in my 40s. Gentleman ahead of me was clearly older. I'm not sure if it was the fact that I'm a woman or younger ( receptionist was definitely younger than me) but there was a distinct difference in his tone and answers between me (40-something year old woman) and an older gentleman (if I had to guess, mid to late 60s. This was the only negative for us. Everything else was great! Will stay again.
