The beds were comfortable. The lighting at night was great if you were walking around. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but it was decent. The shuttle driver was friendly, helpful, and fast! Very close to the airport - only about 5 minutes.

Most of the pillows were terrible... only 1 decent pillow out of 4 per bed (3 of them felt like they had uneven pieces of foam in them! The decent one felt like some kind of soft fiber, or fiber alternative.) The lighting at night was a bit bright when trying to sleep (blinds didn't completely block it out.) Had some minor issues with the electronic room key - had to have it reset twice.

We only stayed for a few hours because our flight was a very early flight and we had a very long night. I think from what we paid it was adequate accommodation. We didn’t have time to enjoy the breakfast, but the staff seem friendly enough, and they even offered us a room on the ground level if we chose (which we did.)

There wasn’t anything in particular that myself or my wife didn’t like. The room was as expected, the shower was nice and hot, and they even called to check in on us to make sure our check-in went smoothly. I really appreciated the check out as all you had to do is drop your key off in a little box at the front desk. Made it very fast so we didn’t miss our flight.

Hotel is clean and convenient. The rooms are an amazing deal. You will not find another hotel in the area this clean and nice with a FREE airport shuttle. The staff has been great with every stay. I highly recommend for those using DTW. It's a great value and a comfy sleep!

There wasn't anything I didn't like. For the price, and it includes breakfast and a shuttle to the airport....doesn't get any better!

Check in process was quick and easy, breakfast was great, and the free airport shuttle was much appreciated. They were also able to provide a further 5 days parking for my vehicle, albeit at a further cost (which was quite reasonable) which made my trip a much smoother one. Location from the airport is excellent. Very reasonably priced.

Room was ok...a little aged and maybe in need of some updating.

The staff was super!!! Greeted with a warm smile by everyone. Made sure we was happy and comfortable. They are updating the place to make it more modern. The pool was very clean and warm. Will come here again

Could use newer and more towels, but I'm sure if we had asked for more, the staff would have given us more.

The shuttle from the airport to the hotel went quick. The hotel is basic and that was not a problem. The kids loved the pool. I think price/quality ration is very good. Very friendly and helpfull staff

We knew that the aitport was nearby so planes could fly over. That wasn't a problem for us but you should know that when you book this hotel.

Nearness to airport, the traveler basics…place for night, bed, shower, TV, clean, airport shuttle…

No dislikes; however, a restaurant within Howard Johnson would have qualified you as a “10”; but I totally understand the economics involved in that dream. You’re fine…

I liked the free upgrade to the third floor. Last year I stayed in a more basic room on second floor and wasn't too impressed

Breakfast . Line up for toaster, could only toast two slices at a time and everyone wanted toast that day...big line up. Too much ice in the fridge/freezer in the room. Bathroom needed an upgrade. Mini toilets (I liked it but I'm short. For average height or tall, will feel like ur squatting)

The towels need to be cleaner, invest in keeping them up to par. Utilize the pool in the summer or take it off the Marquee and off line that you have one.
