Beautiful location. Fantastic spa and pools. Wonderful to eat breakfast outside enjoying the scenery and sunshine.

The hotel restaurant “The Point” provided a terribly disappointing meal. For the price the breakfast was pretty basic. We had a “deluxe” room but no bathrobes or slippers etc, unusual in a spa hotel. No newspapers.

Location excellent with great views. Food very good though the menu was the same each night, which was a little limiting.

Water pressure in shower was so low I couldn’t wash my hair. Also very difficult to regulate the temperature- either scalding hot or almost cold. We were expecting a larger double bed (especially for the generous size of the room). We felt cramped and uncomfortable in a 4’6” bed. On arrival we enquired about eating in the bar and the receptionist told us it was not possible, yet the following night we saw others eating there at the same time. Finally, we would have appreciated there being leaflets on what to do/where to go in the area.

The location is hard to beat. With a stunning location and some wonderful views from all aspects of the hotel. The rooms and general spaces were clean and tidy.

I was a little disappointed with the pool area. Although plenty of space and a warm pool the pool itself needed some attention. Please clean the green from around the pool. 3 attendants at pool side should mean the area is able to be kept sparkling. For the money I would expect the hotel to provide the extra touches. In addition our room was harbour side and carried no warning regarding the chain ferry hours. During the late evening/early morning there are issues with loud neighbours, cars and music which was a shame.

The location is superb and the hotel is designed to take full advantage of its position. The views are spectacular. An outstanding feature is the competence, kindness and friendliness of the staff. This is a fantastically managed hotel where everyone works as a team aimed at giving their guests whatever is needed to enjoy their stay to the utmost. I must mention Kiki and Aimee on reception along with Naisy, Maddie and Sam who, individually demonstrated their kindness and happiness at serving guests. There were other staff members who went over and above what was necessary, but I didn’t get their names.

If I had to suggest any improvement, it might be a more varied menu, or perhaps a bar menu but I know they were in the process of assessing the kitchen side of things when we were there.

Everything. From walking in, to leaving it was fantastic. The staff were welcoming and helpful on reception. The room, although a bit tired, was a great size and clean. The breakfast was amazing, with great produce and choice. Lewis and Millie worked so hard. Then there was the fabulous pool area, with lovely sun loungers, and as the weather was good, this was a great addition. Neil and Norbert were so friendly and chatted and gave advice, they were fab. We met the owners, who were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return!!

Some areas of the hotel needed updating.

The bedroom was well thought out and had a super king size bed. Sea view was exceptional and balcony comfortable with 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a table.

So much could be made of this property with the right investment but the decor is outdated and seems to cater to an older clientele. Breakfast was poor - worse than that at a motorway service station- ultra processed bread, cereals, juices and yoghurts, nothing cooked to order and a very scruffy coffee machine.

The initial room given had a shower tray rather than a bath, which was a downer as none of the rooms pictures on the website/promotional pictures for the hotel showed any shower tray in the bathrooms, which makes you assume that all are bath tubs. I was looking forward to a soak the first night when I reached there, so was disappointed. When I informed the staff, they moved me to another room only the next day, but I had to pay the difference in the rates for 1 night. Breakfast was a good spread, but the same for both the days I stayed, no halal options. Some variety/change would have been good. Sadly, the indoor pool was freezing cold (although they said it was heated) and the steam room was out of order, so was the hot tub outside (some pending repairs). Only the sauna room was functional, so it was just a repeat between the cold pool and the hot sauna. This was also disappointing. In short, more than half teh facilities expected was sub par, especially for the high amount spent. Location was as expected and what we chose- landsend, beautiful and sea facing, loved it.

Shower tray in the bathroom- as against bathtub as advertised. Indoor pool was cold, although claimed to be heated. When I went in at 1000 hrs, was told- it is 'heating'!! Steam room and hot tub outside- both non functional, so this was disappointing.

Such a great location overlooking Studland and Old Harry Rocks in the distance. Compact leisure facilities but a great steam room and sauna. Outdoor pool was open and heated. Hot tub could have been a bit warmer but so relaxing enjoying the views and constant yacht traffic. Third floor room with sea views was so worth the extra. Bed was very comfortable. Room facilities were good, for the ladies a hair dryer is provided.

Woken early by the chain link ferry to Studland/ Swanage but not really any issue. Water pressure in the shower was a little low but manageable.

Location fantastic Breakfast brilliant

The price it’s really expensive. Some draws in the room to put underwear etc, would be a good move. The pool bar wasn’t open that was frustrating as my other half is sight impaired and we found it difficult to go all the way outside to the bar to be told we can’t serve you a drink but if you have food with it you can , not very good service , I had to go to the only bar you have in my swimming costume to get a drink , but disappointing as we paid nearly £1200 for 4 days to be told this . Key codes for everything , like a prison We were told we couldn’t buy a hot drink in the bar between 6 and 9.00 , despite us just paying £75.00 in your restaurant , which was great by the way, food really good , but the. Spoilt by bring told you can’t buy a hot drink , how mad is that .

Beautiful location; good looking hotel from the outside; lovely staff, nice outside pool and seating areas

Rooms were poorly insulated - we could hear the conversations in the rooms on either side. Also the dinner experience was average. The times were stretched out so we had a relatively late sitting and the food was only ok. Similarly the breakfast - which was completely self service, was average. I would have given a higher rating with better food and quieter rooms - especially as the staff were all super helpful and friendly.
