For the price, this was very good. Room was clean and roomy, parking close by, having a little kitchenette was a bonus.

The only complaint we could have was breakfast. However for the price it was ok. The oatmeal was mushy and watery. The auto-pancake machine is a good idea of course from your point of view however, it created some pretty bland tasting pancakes. The cereal bowls were little dixie cups as were the cups for the juices. All understood due to the great price for the room and breakfast combined. The other thing is that the carpet in the breakfast area was pretty gross. It looked stained, and dirty. Maybe it wasn't dirty? just the pattern on the carpet? but it looked pretty aged and not very appetizing atmosphere. (again.....the price- I get it)

The room was simple but clean, quiet, warm, the bed comfortable with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The wifi worked fine for me. The location, for us, was perfect as we had to go to the Tom Baker Centre. We left our Jeep at the hotel & took a cab there & back. I really appreciated them letting us leave our vehicle as we did not get back until after check out; plus I am not a confident city driver.

Breakfast was really basic, mostly dry goods. I think there was a pancake maker. The cable TV wasn't that great. It kept going off, then coming back on.

Very noisy air conditioner. Beds are okay but not as comfortable as a pricier hotel. No yogurt at breakfast. Shampoo dispenser in bathtub difficult to use.

We liked everything about Econo Lodge Inn & Suites University. The check-in process was quick, and the girl was very nice to us. The room was very spacious and awesome. The room was very quiet. Very convenient kitchen. They have a jacuzzi and a pool. The breakfast was very good. It was a shame we were only there one night.

We liked everything. Maybe the location was a little far from downtown Calgary, but if you have a car there is no problem.

Very few economical hotels i see with such good staff and fascilities. Staff was good. Room service was excellent (Naveen thoroughly clean our room). Room was equipped with good kitchen. Ample parking. Breakfast includes eggs, oatmeal, cereals, pancakes, juices, coffee, tea etc. Near to university of Calgary. Due to its economical prices i am giving it score of 9.

Nothing while comparing it to price they charge

It was nearby the Banff Trail Train Station. I took the train the whole entire time going to downtown Centre. It was very convenient when it comes to transportation. I was able to save money from car rental. Meeting place for my city tour and national park tour was in downtown. It is close by the North Hill Mall incase you need something. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. I loved my stay at this hotel and definitely will book here again. The staffs here are friendly and will help you if you need directions. It is a basic Breakfast and complimentary. There are vending machines at the left side of the reception.

We stayed here two weeks before as a stop over before picking up our RV, we stayed again on the way back before heading to the airport. We were really tired after a long journey and arrived at the hotel at 10am to drop our bags off so we could go into Calgary centre and to our surprise they let us check into our room super early which meant we could relax, shower and drop our bags before heading out which was an absolute god send! Thank you! The second room was just as large and comfortable as the first. Again, hotel is only two mins from the train station with a quick direct train into Calgary centre so it's super convenient if you're short on time and wanting to explore

This was a great deal. It's in a row with several other hotels and walking distance from several ethnic restaurants and only 5km from downtown Calgary. We stayed the night before our flight but had time to tour around Calgary the next day. Was concerned about quality of the room, but it was fine. Don't expect luxury accommodations, but it is a good deal. Continental breakfast was okay.

Rooms were a bit dated but they were very clean.

Breakfast is OK (toasts, cold boiled eggs, pancakes, muffins, butter, jam, cereal, tea, coffee, juice, apples and oranges). Great location - it's easy to get to the city center by CT Calgary trasit train. There is a microwave, fridge, cooker and coffee maker in the room.

You must leave the deposit when check in.

Location was perfect, close to the university just as I wanted. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

There was only shampoo and bar soap in the bathrooms. No conditioner, body wash or lotion as in most other hotels. My daughter forgot a toothbrush and had to pay $5 to get one out of a vending machine. The breakfast was just ok - not a lot of options and the exact same thing offered each day.
