It was a very nice place to stay. We liked being away from the crowds. A little hidden gem in the woods. We hiked the 1.8 miles from Inn to town each day we were there. It was an adventure filled with memories, that we will cherish. They have quite a few food options to choose from right on the property. Games, family pool, adult pool and fire pit’s nightly. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Definitely a little pricey but, everything on the Island is a little pricey. A little careless incident with housekeeping. Need 2 people or even 3 running the General Store. Only 1 poor girl who had to rent bikes, help the clients get the bikes and help people in the store. We waited close to 20 minutes to buy snacks. Service staff @ the wood pizza place was lacking!

Beautiful picturesque location overlooking the water and the bridge. The property is vast with lots of places to relax. I especially liked the many bonfires locations across the lawn. The dining area inside was delicious. I recommend the pork belly appetizer.

The summerhouse room that we stayed was well done; however I did not like using the bar sink to brush my teeth and wash hands. There is no mirror in front of the mirror which is awkward. The walls are paper thin and we could hear everything above and beside us down to someone coughing and baby crying.

Staff VERY well trained and tried hard to provide friendly and attentive customer service.

Internal communciations system too complex for staff to maintain. Room 'phone didn't work. Maintenance person tried to make it work for 45 minutes. And failed. Never did work and hod to use cell 'phones to contact front desk.

The grounds were beautiful, the food was delicious and everything was so clean and well taken care of. We had wonderful service from Tom helping us with the fire pit and wood and he also helped us with the pool one morning. We also had wonderful service at the front desk with Emily and Alex getting our luggage to the ferry.

Everything was wonderful. It is truly a beautiful place.

The furniture and ambiance.

We had dinner at the restaurant. Honestly, it was bad. I cant think of any better terms to describe the food. I think ingredients were fresh but the taste was dreadful and the price way too hefty for the taste. We left hungry and regretting dinner.

The entire facility was exactly what it looked like in the pictures. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Thank you to Emily who worked at the front of the hotel. She helped make my wife’s and I 20th anniversary very special and memorable.

We loved this property and would come back again.

Lack of elevator

The property was so beautiful and clean. The atmosphere was so relaxing and there was great attention to detail.
