It's a cute character-filled country motel that is well located in the northern rivers - you could almost say it's under 30 mins to everwhere plus all of the delights that Alstonville has as a town. It was located well for our needs and the team was very accommodating for our late check-in outside of reception hours as we had to travel there late after work. Instructions via text were friendly, clear and easy. The motel was super quiet, clean, and had everything you needed for a short stay.

Everything was great, but maybe a heads up that the ironing equipment wasn't in the room as we checked in late we didn't have access to it until morning, I planned to iron on arrival as we had an early start in the morning for an event we needed to go .

This property was very quiet and the garden was so pretty. Our bed was extremely comfortable ( l wish I had asked what the mattress brand was). This property was the cleanest we have stayed at in a very long time. The stand out feature of this property is the friendliness and helpfulness of the managers and the staff. Absolutely brilliant little motel.

I can’t think of anything that was not perfect.

My friend and I were very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful our stay was. It is an older style motel with matching decor which we loved and found very homely. Excellent standard of cleanliness, fantastic shower/water pressure, extremely peaceful quiet location yet a few minutes from the quaint everything you need town centre. We highly recommend this motel! We stayed in Unit 4.

We loved everything.

When I arrived to check in, the lady at the reception desk was so welcoming and lovely to talk to! She seemed like she really cared about my adventures with my family and I felt comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and really good quality pillows. The heater was very effective and very tasty complimentary milk. There’s also snacks for a good price! And the shower has good pressure and it gets nice and hot. The location is so close to the main road but it’s still somehow very quiet and peaceful. I really enjoyed this motel!

The room was very quiet and comfortable for a great night sleep. The room was exceptionally clean and everything was well maintained. The property itself is beautiful. The town Alstonville was a pleasant surprise, with nice cafes and restaurants and generally very pleasant. We will come back to this motel on future stop overs from Sydney to Brisbane.

Not much to fault only one small issue that the bedding and towels smelt too much like bleach/ strong cleaning chemicals.

I loved everything about this property, the motel staff were lovely. Upon arrival they offered us milk for tea or coffee for our stay. The woman at the front desk recommended places for us to get dinner and was very friendly. The next morning we had another woman from housekeeping ask if we needed anything and even asked one of the people I was staying with if she had a good sleep which I personally think it very thoughtful and not something you can find at many other places. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, shower was great and there was free wifi. They have a great pool too. All the guests staying there were very quiet. It’s a beautiful motel and about a 20 minute drive from Byron Bay. I cannot recommend this place enough, it was amazing.

Staff very helpful and welcoming. They prepared rooms early for us as we had a wedding to attend. Rooms were very clean and thoughtful touches of fresh milk and biscuits. Bedding/pillows all comfortable. Iron and ironing board available on request. I booked family room plus an extra queen room for our family of 5 so that we could have 2 bathrooms to get ready for wedding but we could easily have all fit in the family room. Set back off road so no traffic noise.

Easy location to access, easy check in. Staff was lovely! Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was roomy with a great shower. Lovely surprise with some extra coffee flavour sachets for the morning. Parking space was easy to access. Beautiful area! Beds were comfortable and the motel is in a quiet location.

I have no complaints from our stay.

A very well-kept country motel, beautiful garden, and clean comfortable rooms. Comfy bed. Staff very friendly. Not far from a very popular pub and other restaurants.

Only being picky - no curtain on bathroom window to block out the sun. Couldn't see in the mirror with the sun shining in. There are no other opening windows for ventilation.

It was great.Very easy late check in.spotlessly clean. Even provided face washer which is rare at a Motel. Parking right outside door. Units all quite private from each other. Would recommend to anyone!!

The only thing was we had 4 of us in a family suite...it would have been good if there was a little sink in kitchenette. But nothing to complain about!!
