The hotel catered wonderfully well for dogs. They were allowed to stay in certain rooms only and in certain areas only of the hotel so that non dog owners can also dine and drink without their company. The staff were all brilliant including the chamber maids who were so helpful and happy. Ross also stood out and was faultless. The area the hotel is set in is also fabulous for walking and great there is a free car park directly outside the hotel.
The room itself was too small for a wee dog and two persons. Was told the bigger rooms would not allow dogs which was a shame. The shower in the bathroom was also pretty awful by today’s standards. Fixed to the wall so you cannot properly wash yourself and difficult to control. A new shower would make all the difference. It was also a shame that the fire didn’t work in the main entrance sitting area where one is allowed to sit and eat with a dog given we spent most of our time there.

The hotel is in a very pastoral location, about a 15-minute drive from Glasgow. Clean rooms with all the amenities. Keep in mind that a basic room, like the one we booked, does not have a fridge. The staff was great, we received answers to all our requests and questions.
The only downside was getting out of Eaglesham. Because we were on a business trip, we went to East Kilbride twice and Glasgow twice. In the morning, there was no problem getting around on the buses, but in the evening the buses just stop going in that direction without any real reason or notice. We paid a higher rate for the taxis we took from Glasgow because a trip to Eaglesham is considered outside of Glasgow.

Staff were great; always had a smile, extremely helpful, nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent, from sandwiches to evening meal we were impressed by the quality and price. Beds were very comfortable. Great showers, hot and powerful.
Insecure Wi-Fi limited what we could use it for. No fridge in any bedrooms. We had trouble finding a quiet bedroom; initially allocated a room with no double glazing on a busy main road experiencing diverted traffic, then offered a room with what we assumed was an external roof air conditioning unit right above with constant humming and vibrations, got a good room in the end. Thanks.

The room is always comfortable and clean. The breakfast perfectly cooked and the staff always accommodating and helpful. Whenever I am in Glasgow this is always my first choice to stop.
EV Charging. Sorry but I know there is a 2 port charger on the main road, but there are more EV's being used and these 2 points were in constant use from 15:00 to 06:00. There were 3 EV's in your car park out of 8 cars and 2 on the charging points whether Hotel residents or Village residents it doesn't matter. It would be nice to have even a slow charger available at the hotel, at reasonable rates. I did eventually manage to get a charge, but coverage is not great in Scotland. It isn't a deal breaker but could be something to consider.

We loved this hotel and had a fabulous 2 night stay visiting family. Our room didn’t have a window, (just roof lights) which I would usually find a bit claustrophobic but the room was very spacious and comfortable so that helped. I’m sure if I wasn’t happy though the staff would have done there upmost to accommodate us. From the moment we arrived all the staff we engaged with were just fantastic and really couldn’t do enough, the were all so friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant which was lovely food and wine. Breakfast was great too. We also visited the pub within the hotel and again great staff with a cosy atmosphere. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying again in the future.

Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful with everything we required. The bed was very comfortable. The room had everything we needed. We really liked the decor of the hotel, overall a lovely hotel style with brilliant staff. The decor and professionalism of the staff made it feel like a 5* hotel when it was rather cheap.
Breakfast was quite overpriced for what it was, very small portions. The walls were thin, we could hear the conversation in the adjacent room clearly. Not much to do in the immediate surrounding areas but that is no fault of the hotel.

Good breakfast. Good location in a nice village. Staff were pleasant. Private parking.
Didn't like the shower taps. Very difficult to turn on, to adjust the temperature and to direct the water up for the shower or down for the bath. I asked the duty manager to have a look at it but he assured me there was nothing wrong with it. Not my experience! The room was very small.. the bed took up most of the space. There was no effective reading light. The whole hotel is painted brown which makes it very dull and dingey.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming probably the friendliest and most welcoming of any hotel I have stayed in the UK. The correspondence I have received prior to staying with the offer of an upgrade was brilliant making me feel valued and at ease about staying at the hotel. The room was very cosy and well ventilated and also very modern and sophisticated showing really good value for money and that it was very lavish and lucrative and upmarket in a good way. Booking a table in the restaurant was also very easy with the hotel contacting me prior and pre-empting it showing their very good planning and organisation for guests staying there. The food in the restaurant was very delicious and delightful with service very prompt and efficient with staff make you feel very welcome and also the setting was very relaxing. The food at breakfast was equally as good and service again very efficient and food being again very delicious. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient, relaxing and picturesque being just outside of East Kilbride and the surrounding area of Glasgow allowing to feel relaxed and was very tranquil away from the helter skelter nature of Glasgow. The hotel building itself had plenty of character and charm, which was all the better by the great friendly welcome. Will certainly look at staying if visiting the area again and stopping overnight.
Nothing.

Staff were efficient and friendly. Nice atmosphere in the dining room and bar. Whole property very clean and smart.
There was a problem re the original room we had booked. Staff did their best to find an alternative, but we ended up in a bedroom with velux windows in the roof as the only form of ventilation. We couldn’t leave these open at night as rain was forecast, and it was stifling. A fan was made available on request at reception, but we had two rather uncomfortable nights.

We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good, breakfast was ok, staff were excellent and the room was good but a little smaller than expected as we had booked superior doubles.
we were woken up early on the first morning a dog had been left in a room on its own, the barking went on for about 45 minuets, we did report it to reception who did come up to investigate and it did eventually stop after that. We only realised it was a dog friendly hotel after we had made the booking, no problem with the dog friendly but people should not be allowed to leave dogs on their own in the bedrooms the dog was obviously stressed.
