Very friendly personnel. Right next to the train station. Our room rate included a free use of the public transport in the Basel Area, this was super convenient ! We used the train to and from Basel several times a day and it was all free ! Big thumbs up for this service ! Breakfast was plenty and good. The restaurant was also very good and there is a small, but nice patio. There is also a supermarket downstairs in the same building. Very convenient if you need some shopping items and don't have to carry them a long way.

We had a wonderfully warm welcome, so helpful with instructions of how to get around the city and recommendations of things to do. We were there for an event and the host was very helpful in telling us how to get around using the tram (but also recommended walks too). The room was a nice temperature, comfy, clean, really enjoyed it! Breakfast was a lovely continental selection. Location was excellent for the tram and links into Basel. Really quiet and nice neighbourhood. Absolutely would stay here again when visiting Basel. Parking was really useful too!

Owners and staff are great. Breakfast is excellent . Beds were perfect , no back or neck pain , comfortable. Very happy we stayed there. There’s more expensive hotels that could learn from them .

The service from Marc and the breakfasts were great.

The only thing that went wrong was on the last day, I asked Marc for directions to Zurich airport. He told me to take the tram to the 50 bus! So I ended up at Basel airport instead! I had to come all the way back to the Hauptbanhof and then get the train to the airport. I was the LAST one on the plane but I made it! But be sure to let a foreign traveler know how to get to ZURICH not Basel! Thanks!

Staff could not do enough for us. Friendly, super helpful. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the kitchen staff was very good. The outside garden was lovely and I’m only sorry that we did not have the opportunity to have a drink in the garden or have a dinner at the hotel.

Very kind and helpful staff, honestly exceeded my expectations. They explained everything and recommended me different places to go to. The breakfast was also oretty good too!

The owner's family are all kind, friendly and helpful. The sweetest surprise is the young couple speak Mandarin. The husband was in China for 4 years and the wife is from China. The food is very good, both breakfast and during the day. Very good location. 1 minute walk from the tram station. Beautiful mountains and lake nearby. Thoughtful advice on sightseeing.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the breakfast had everything which was needed. The room had also a very useful fridge 👌

Secure garage. Very friendly multilingual reception. Lift. Room well equipped. Bathroom with bathtub, and small soap, shampoo, face cloth, etc, frequently not supplied these days in hotels. Good continental breakfast.

There was nothing we did not like.

The staff was fantastic. They helped too much with lot of info about the city and give us a ticket 24 h for public transport free.
