Very clean, quaint inn. Loved the balcony out over the harbour. The hosts were exceptional, making sure everything was good for their guests. They also cooked breakfast for us each morning, scrambled eggs and/or pancakes if wanted, fresh blueberry muffins the first morning and fresh baked croissants the second one. Beautiful People! Also, so close to the Fishermans Cove Harbour Artisan Huts. Great afternoon spent there as well. 17 min drive to the ferry terminal to go over to Halifax Harbour boardwalk

May have some nightly noise from boats moored outside

Such a great location on the water with great shops and restaurants. Close to day outings. Exactly what we wanted Very Clean Safe One of our units had a balcony which was super great Also main floor patio Very organized owner. Super people. Great to talk with. Offered great selection in continental breakfast. Beds were comfy Bathtub was great and new. AC worked great Owners work hard to make everyone’s stay comfortable.

Nothing really One room was facing road that could get noisy but quiet after 9:30

The room itself was very clean, we did, as ususal, inspect it thoroughly. The view was great, as we could see the fishing boats, the ocean in one direction and the city skyline in the distance. you can tell they tried to pay attention to details in the room. The bed was comfortable. Overall I would recommend it and would stay again. It is basic but the Oceanview rooms are so unique perched above a working fishing wharf.

Entry into stairwell, the carpet looked kinda worn/dirty. It's probably not the best floor covering for the stairs and difficult to keep fresh looking. There was a smell, mothballs? Maybe some cleaner? I'm not sure but we wanted to air out the room and kept a window open for sleeping. To the owners, I would recommend better coffee supplies in the room other than the "brown coffee" powder drink. For your decor, it could be improved easily. Stay will real nova scotia photos, folkart and crafts to make it authentic maritime experience. Not just random ocean themed items from the dollar store.

Wonderful location in the quaint area of Eastern Passge. Next door is a Pizza & more takeout that has the best food you'll find anywhere! This fishing village has a boardwalk along the beach and a wharf-side strip of gift stores. The rooms at the Inn are clean & comfortable with amazing staff & owners. There are only two things I would point out for those who it might affect; 2 sets of stairs to the rooms and no air conditioning. This did not bother us at all, but it could be difficult for others. It is a short drive to both Dartmouth & Halifax. We love this Inn !

Scenic and relaxing location outside of the city. Hosts were very hospitable and friendly. Our room was very clean and bed comfortable. Loved watching the sunsets from our little deck. Great breakfast included with congenial conversation. Always fun to meet and chat to new people over breakfast.

Farther away from the city than we expected but the Inn is located on an easy main bus route (or drive and park) to the Ferry to Halifax. A great option straight to downtown Halifax and the harbour boardwalk if you prefer to avoid the traffic and parking hassles. Limited restaurant options in the Cove area.

I travelled to the location through a more industrial section of the city, but was pleasantly surprised once arriving that the view and surrounding area was quiet and had touristy shops, as well as a nice park. The breakfast was pretty standard, although we didn't opt for any of the made to order warm breakfast items, so I cannot comment on those. The contactless check in was super convenient and staff were super nice.

The 3rd floor rooms have a slant in the roofline beside the bed which can make it a bit awkward to get in/out of bed if both people are tall (the other side of the bed is full height).

Absolutely loved this place!!! When we arrived at night, it was so magical with the view of the boats on the water in the misty air. The room itself was very clean & cozy. We really enjoyed the balcony with its amazing views, spaciousness and seaside vibes. We also loved the quaint area close by for little shops, good eats, and amazing oceanside trail. We WILL be back, can't wait!!!

The usually included breakfast was not available, since it was the off (non-busy) season.

The breakfast was typical, location was great, very quaint and comfortable

We liked everything however, some elderly people may have trouble navigating the stairs with their luggage. We were on the 3rd floor. Assistance was offered to us though which was great. Disappointed about not being able to get a fresh lobster from the Restaurant Boondocks which is a short walk from our stay. The bartender told us the lobster tank broke down months ago and was never fixed or replaced. Kind of sad since its a fishing village that attracts lots of tourists.

The balcony view was magnificent! We enjoyed the location a lot. Pay attention, it may seem a bit remote from DT Halifax and the host highlights this fact in their communication. However, we found the location great. If you want to go downtown, it’s easily accessible by car or by bus and ferry. The latter is highly recommended. The area itself offers some restaurants and shops as well as a walking trail by the beach. The breakfasts were good and we enjoyed the opportunity to chat with the owner. The room had everything we needed including a comfortable bed.

Very clean and situated at an interesting location! Great view to the fishing boats and great decor in the Inn itself. We had a vehicle so at night we could drive up to the halifax ferry terminal parking and use the ferry to easily go to downtown and return later at night. Would recommend this to place!

There was no breakfast included for the time period we were here but once May starts it'll be provided. It would be nice if breakfast was also provided
