Lovely flat with its own wonderful roof terrace. It is in a beautiful street and is convenient for the station and the centre of town. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby, and a supermarket for supplies. The Wednesday food market is also right there. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, coffee machine, French press, kettle and a toaster. The flat is above the owners house and felt very safe. It was a wonderful base to explore Arles.

Perhaps a cooking ring in the kitchen for using some of the wonderful vegetables from the market.

Arles accommodation was cosy and wonderful. We only had the one night as we had a cruise departing the next day but easily could have stayed a week or more. A few stairs to get up and down with lighting and hand rails to assist - we managed it easily enough at 65. Only issue if you have heavy luggage, discuss options with the host if so. Air conditioning in the bedroom is welcomed as it can be quite hot in the summer. Balcony was gorgeous with wonderful views of the rooftops of the neighbourhood and the old city. Kitchen was more than adequate with everything you need (just add your food essentials and goodies - supermarket just around the corner). Host was welcoming and helpful, his family lives downstairs but were unobstrusive and we felt our upstairs accommodation was quite private. It was a lovely space to explore Arles and beyond.

Perfect location, lovely hosts, so interesting and attentive. A perfect apartment. The terrasse couldn't have been more perfect. I was planning to eat out at night but was so tranquil on the terrasse went to the monoprix and got all my favourite french aperos and relaxed, listening to music and watching the lizards. I couldn't have asked for more for my stay in Arles.

Mosquitos but I was pre-warned of the area. Only mentioning for others to remember some products for a super relaxing stay.

Very kind and helpful, but unobtrusive, host. The whole flatlet, including the very pretty and spacious terrace. Newly refurbished bathroom with excellent hot shower. Spacious bedroom. Additional towels provided in the wardrobe. The location managed to be both very central and extremely quiet despite occasional bursts of music from the Easter feria, which was in full swing.

The host requested feedback as we left and this is what we said: The kitchen could have been better equipped (more than two of everything and tea towels). We would have appreciated a brush and dustpan too. NB: Future occupants should note that there are steep and semi-spiral stairs up to the apartment (host kindly offered his help with carrying luggage).

Very spacious and private apartment with a great terrace all to ourselves. The house is located in a quiet street very close to everything in the old town. The space is generous, and the walls are adorned with famous photographs of famous people by famous photographers, as Ed (our host) is a former portrait photographer who clearly knew the who’s who in his day. There are lots of stairs to climb, but well worth the effort.

Wifi was unpredictable but this is quite common in the upper storeys of old buildings apparently. Not easy getting bags up narrow winding stairs (ok for us as our luggage wasn’t big)

The location in central Arles in a building from the 1600s was fantastic. Arles is a very walkable city, and we could get everywhere on foot. Our host was friendly and helpful! There was also a washing machine which was very useful.

We were very appreciative of some help with luggage as the apartment is at the top of the building. This is what, of course, gives the wonderful view and open air terrace.

Parking is a bit of a nightmare…. We managed to get our car towed by incorrectly reading the sign! Definitely worth emphasizing this for visitors Tuesday night and Friday night a no go in many area!!!!

Only a few minutes walk from the arena located on a quiet side street. Lovely, private terrace and interesting photographic art throughout the apartment. Very friendly and accommodating couple; we appreciated the modern shower, functional kitchen and use of the washing machine.
