Breakfast was not offered; the Owner, Matt Keating greeted me personally and showed me to my room and made sure the Air Con was working as it was 37C outside. A very quiet room, everything worked well with one exception ( see next box).

The Air Con unit was quite noisy and not particularly effective, certainly on very hot days. Maybe its time for a service or a replacement.

Location is good- close to town centre and food outlets. An easy drive to Bendigo or Echuca.

The AC/Heating was noisy- it sounded like a truck was idling in our room. This noise reverberated through every surface making sleep difficult for my travelling companion

Friendy welcome. Room was actually ready and available when we called in early on our way through to a family funeral. Advised to turn air con on as it was going to be very hot.

No a complaint, but the gravel in the parking area was very deep and difficult to drive a standard car on. I'm sure it will pack down soon.

- Welcoming staff - Excellent clean bedding - Foldable double sofa (plus double bed and 2 single beds) - very comfortable - New soft and fluffy carpet - Small swimming pool, trampoline and basketball ring - Great location in the small town close to playgrounds, stores and cafes

Cold swimming pool and no Netflix on the TV, but this is really minor. Otherwise everything was great for the motel style.

Matt was very friendly and helpful. We arrived about an hour earlier than we anticipated. We phoned Matt and asked would he mind if we arrived a bit earlier to freshen up before going to a funeral. He was very happy to accommodate.

There was nothing to dislike.

Location perfect close to two parks, short walk to the shops and the museum and Op Shop. Rooms with tea, coffee, toaster and microwave great for breakfast in bed. Stayed here a couple of times and it's always clean quiet and a lovely break in a beautiful regional township.

Nothing wanting its perfect.

Situated in a perfect location to easily walk to town, the amazing painted silos & walking trails. The staff were so friendly & happy to share the town knowledge. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable & the rooms had all the facilities you would need.

The room was very clean and modern. A lovely surprise to find we had been upgraded to a different room and I got to relax in the spa bath before our busy schedule the next day.

The water pressure was a bit low but still ok

Highly recommend- the owner was fantastic, so accommodating and friendly. The rooms were fresh, newly renovated and comfortable. Definitely a prime example of good Aussie hospitality.

Nothing to complain about- served our needs as a family.

Repeat customers here, we appreciate having a nice cosy place to stay with hot showers and comfy beds when showing horses at Elmore. Matt was super friendly and helpful.
