Convenient location & very close to Old Quarter and main attractions. Comfortable and spacious rooms, great amenities. Staff were extremely helpful and we booked 2 tours with the hotel. A day tour around Hanoi and a food tour - both were excellent. The staff were also super accommodating and friendly. I had a broken toe and they would open doors, help me with my luggage and even found me a small stool to sit on when I took a shower. Laundry was done quickly, cheaply & professionally. Never saw laundry folded so neatly and cleaned so well.

Bit rundown and old. I almost got electrocuted on day 1 trying to plug the TV in and it blew the fuse. Our toilets were also blocked a few times. But staff came to fix immediately.

The reception staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and safe there. They were through and genuine with check in, recommendations for sights and tours and were quick to fix any questions or issues I may have had. The massage and facial at the in-house spa was great. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. I loved having a balcony. The air-conditioning was very good. The place had a good personality.

Very minor but the glass of wine that I had was off which I didn't quite realise until I tried a glass again later that week. I suggest dating and checking wine and discarding after 2-3 days.

The front desk staff were exceptional. Luna, Febe, Hannah, Leo and Finn welcomed us each day through our seven day stay at Hong Knoc. Special services included: My husband left his camera battery charger lead at home. Luna sent him locally to a shop to find a lead - no success. In the meantime, she searched for a local supplier and sent Finn, on his bike to purchase the lead. We were then able to take our holiday photos. Thank you so much to the staff at Hong Knoc Hotel. Also: The spas services -facials, massages, pedicures etc were above expectations. Thank you Binh.

Staff were professional, polite, and efficient. They seem to be well trained. Was given a large room. Very clean and everything but the TV worked flawlessly. Good value. Will stay again next time in Hanoi.

Location is ok but not the best. Old Quarter is within brief walking distance but the immediate neighborhood around the hotel is chaotic without a good pedestrian walkway. Sidewalk is narrower than other streets in the city and motorbikes were parked on it. Trash was also left near the sidewalk.

The staff! They are all charming and friendly. Special thanks to Linda and Jack for their patience with my fumbling Vietnamese. The location is very convenient for walking around Hanoi. The spa is excellent quality and very good value. Breakfast is delicious.

Nothing to dislike, but just to be clear: it is only a tourist standard hotel. Perfectly adequate for visiting the city, but nothing fancy.

Location was good - probably a little away from the action but opened up another part of Hanoi for us. Staff were exceptional, service with a smile and very accommodating for any requests. Rooms were large & clean, breakfast was good. Restaurant was good for a quick snack while waiting for transport.

Air conditioning in our room did not work properly & when it hit 35 degrees it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep.

The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. We were travelling in a group and the staff handled our logistical requirements extremely well. My room and bathroom were spacious and very comfortable. The complimentary fruit was a lovely touch. The breakfast was excellent too.
