I stayed in Narita one night to be closer to the airport and this hotel was great for a short stay. My room was basic but comfortable. The staff were so kind and helpful. Great value for money too, especially as it was a holiday weekend in Japan and hotels in Tokyo were very expensive in comparison.

It's a little walk from the station, which is fine expect the road wasn't well-suited to wheeling my suitcase. I'd have taken a taxi if I'd known. It's not a big problem though, and the staff kindly helped me get a taxi on my way back to the station.

Clean, close to the airport, and bigger than I thought.

It’s 16 minutes away from the station by walk, but there are taxis at the station that you can take. The beds are a bit bouncy. There’s no shuttle to the airport, but they did inform me and allowed me to cancel. I just took a taxi. Uber couldn’t find a taxi, so I had to use a Japanese Taxi app.

I liked how helpful and friendly the staff were, they were flexible with dropping bags off early and helping me get to the airport!

When I saw pictures of a bath/ onsen in the photo I thought that meant it was on the property which is a big part of why I chose Karin Doo, It took about an hour by walking and bus to get to Yurakujo Onsen which was amazing! ( or 10 minutes by taxi which cost me ¥2,200 I also chose Karin Doo because I wanted to sleep on tatami and futon. I think maybe Karin Doo should be a bit more clear that the bath house is not on the same property! Other than that it was a lovely stay!

Albeit the small room, everything was set up so nicely that I would not feel very confined space. I loved the window view facing the horse riding ground that it became my little joy in peering over the learners' horse-riding actions. A little distance, 25 min walk from nearest Narita station. Quiet surrounding, shout-out for the superlative cleanliness from lobby to stairway and room. And the service crews manisfested very welcoming attitude, which I highly appreciated!

This is a small hotel in a quiet area - and it's the most hospitable place I've ever stayed. The hotelier met us at the door, helped us up the stairs, introduced us to the amenities and our room, and even gave us a tutorial on the coffee machine. The room includes fresh breadrolls, green tea, juice, yoghurt, and coffee. Even the housekeeping staff were wonderful and friendly.

Just be aware it's a budget hotel and you'll be fine. There's nowhere easy to work from.

The owner was very kind. Snacks, drink and yogurts were provided. We stayed one night to catch the plane the next day. I didn't expect much of the hotel, and it exceeded my expectation due to the cleanliness and the price. The owner went the extra miles to deliver the best service and experience. If you read this, the owner, please accept my gratitude. It was the three of us who checked in late and left at 11AM the next day when you called us.

This is my second time staying at Karin Doo. The owner is incredibly friendly, and always seems excited and grateful to have guests. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quiet. There are complementary bread rolls, coffee, and yoghurt or pudding for guests. I'll most likely be back again soon

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The each dorms were a bunk bed and one regular bed and a shower/toilet combo but it was comfortable enough. They provided small food, bread, yogurt and drinks. There is a small eating area with hot water, microwave and refrig. Very close to Narita Airport. Great for early morning flights. Also nice to be in the countryside among the rice fields. Large supermarket nearby. Great for a night.

For what you got I thought the price a little high for a hostel in Japan. It was not Tokyo but Narita. I guess you are paying for being close to airport. It is about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the train station not that far in good weather. If its raining get a taxi.

Loved the openness of the tatami great with family of small children. Staff were superb gave us extra blankets seeing as how we had kids. Close to 7/11 and the Aeon Town which has everything you could possibly need

Probably the roads are abit rough if you have suitcase with wheels. Other than that nothing else really

We arrived at the hotel from the airport after a long flight. The staff were really welcoming! Showed us how to get around, gave us a map of the area. They have a very cozy lobby area where you can have coffee, local tea and some sweet bread. The room was super comfortable and the bed felt like sleeping in the clouds ! It's very close to the airport and it was a good decision to come there for the first two nights, we are also coming back for the last days of the trip and highly recommended hotel !
