Depending on flight schedule, hotel might be difficult to reach. No bus shuttle after 22:30 available. In the morning first shuttle leaves at 07:30.

One of the most bang for your buck hotel if you're flying to Narita Airport. Cheap prices along with great facilities, a bathtub, friendly staffs to help you out even if you don't really speak Japanese. I've stayed here more than 10 times and would continue to stay here whenever I visit Japan.

Our couple's stay from October 17-18 was wonderful! The hotel's location, just a 10-minute shuttle ride from Narita Airport, was incredibly convenient for our travel plans. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and we really appreciated the free Wi-Fi throughout our stay. We found the room comfortable and clean, with all the amenities we needed like a flat-screen TV and refrigerator. We especially enjoyed the 24-hour fitness center, which was a great bonus. We highly recommend Narita Gateway Hotel for a convenient and pleasant stay near the airport

We loved our stay here—it was unbeatable value. The staff were beyond friendly and incredibly helpful, always making us feel welcome. The free shuttles were so convenient and made getting around stress-free. The on-site restaurants and shops were perfect, with everything we needed right there. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and nicer than expected for the price. Overall, this was such a good stay for the value, and we’d definitely come back again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

The price! Cheapest hotel ever and still really nice - cheap in monetary terms but as good or better than the hotel we stayed for a week in Shinjuku and paid much more for. Room was a decent size for the price, room was quiet and well equipped. Mostly the best part was it was so cheap I booked a second day just so we could have late checkout as the plane was at night, and the shuttle bus saved us a bunch of money as we had to go to the airport a couple times

All was fine really - yes you could nitpick and say the room is a little dated but who cares when it is so affordable.

Room was surprisingly large, beds were pretty comfortable, the breakfast was great, and shuttle to airport was awesome. Staff was very friendly & helpful.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but there was a very large tour group from another country there when we were and every one was extremely rude. At breakfast, I had set my tray down at a table with no one around & let my daughter know where to sit while I went for coffee. When I returned not 2 minutes later, a large family had sat down in our spot & then had the nerve to tell me to move! They were rude to staff as well.

The shuttles were always on time. The breakfast buffet was astonishingly exceptional. Traditional Japanese foods with a view of a koi pond. Uber clean restaurant with enough choice for everyone 10/10 - worth the trip to Japan for this meal alone - no joke.

Smell of cigarettes in the hall even though it’s a non-smoking hotel. Furnishings are worn, appliances outdated. Beds are almost as hard as sleeping on the floor and the pillows were some traditional seed husk - also hard. For a gaijin like me, not comfy.

Free shuttle buses for the airport, Aeon Mall and Narita train/subway station. Close to our car rental agency for a convenient pickup the next day. Spacious room. Convenience store in the hotel stocked simple meals and condiments (like salt, soy sauce), good for late-night meals and snacks as the hotel is quite far from the shops.

More frequent shuttle buses as they tend to get crowded in the afternoon.

It's very good at a very reasonable price for what it is which is a layover hotel. Check in was quick and efficient with self service machine that had an English option. You put your passport in and it spits out a room key. Amenities are freely available to take. The room itself is a bit dated but clean. They give you all the soaps you need and pyjamas (all japanese hotels do this). Internet is strong. Not a lot of food options at night but there is a convenience store by the lobby and also a vending machine. Some instant noodles in the machine are also in the kombini with the same price. I wished I could have stayed for the included breakfast as it did look good but I had a flight to catch. The shuttle bus was very convenient and it's available in the early mornings we took one at 5am. You have to book it in with a QR code but it's free and there's staff with good English at front desk to help out.

These bed might be a bit hard for Western standards. But I can confirm beds in Japan don't seem to be soft in general. At least in budget hotels.

I love how the staff are very approachable and kind. When I asked them regarding the room and the airport bus timetable, they responded immediately. The hotel staff can also speak English which is a big help. In the front desk, there are 2 machines that can be used for checking in and checking out. It can be operated by choosing your preferred language. There is also a free shuttle bus that goes to and from the airport on a scheduled basis. The room that was given to us was very spacious for a family of 3. We also got 3 beds which made it more comfortable.
