Great setting in the Arts District, very quiet, and free secure parking, wasn't able to check in early, but was offered the use of reception area (very comfy), Wi-Fi and free coffee. Rooms very spacious and comfy, poolside area very relaxed. You can walk across to downtown Dallas in about 45 mins (10 in an Uber), walk is great as you get to to see the Dallas skyline, but there are also good restaurants close by, plus a gas station too.

Vibrant colors and wonderful art throughout the hotel. Loved The Bishop Art district and the neighborhood it’s all tucked into. The property is very clean along with the room. Cool furniture in the room. The bed was cozy with great pillows.

A small mishap for our confirmed early arrival. The cleaning crew wasn’t done by our confirmed time. The property manager called me right away after the cleaning crew called them to inform him. He offered up another room for us to wait in while they finished. We asked to leave our things in our room and changed into our swimsuits downstairs in the restroom. Hit the pool until they were finished. It was handled fast and easy!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolute Gem in the Heart of Dallas! From the moment we stepped inside The Bishop Arts Hotel, we felt like we’d stumbled into a charming little secret that only the lucky ones discover. The blend of historic charm and modern touches is perfection — every corner has a story, and every detail feels thoughtfully curated. The location could not be more ideal — secure, convenient parking and just steps away from incredible dining, arts, and entertainment. We loved being so close to so many wonderful spots, and knowing we had this cozy retreat to come back to made our trip extra special. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and absolutely unique — the kind of place that makes you feel both at home and like you’re on a luxurious getaway at the same time. We were so impressed that before we even left, we decided: we’re coming back!

I loved everything about it!

This place is gorgeous. You can tell that they thought of everything. There is no front desk, bc it is operated like an airbnb, so they email you all of the directions. There is also a phone number you can call if you have any questions at all and they are so friendly. It looks and smells like a nice spa. I appreciated the locked gates. There is no breakfast, but there is coffee, tea, a wine dispenser, ice, and as many extra towels as you need. We had the regular king room, not the suite, and it was a really big room. There was a Keurig, a refrigerator and a safe. You do have to go down to the lobby to use the microwave, but this place is a pretty small building so it doesn't take long to get this the lobby no matter where in the building you are. The bed is firm (a plus for me!) and the toilet seats are heated!! The colors of this hotel and the artwork is just magnificent. 5 stars!!

Location was great, parking was easy, security was good, decor was nice, pool was perfect size and well-kept. I appreciated the size and uniqueness of the room and the overall size of the hotel. Tv was nice, shower was a good size, bathroom had plenty of space to place all your items, and I loved the digital thermostat. WiFi worked with no issues.I heard next to no noise in the building (rooms appear to be cinder block walls in places). The contactless was much easier to navigate than I anticipated. It was easy to reach staff after hours when I had a need.

Towels were way too thin, more hooks needed in the bathroom, more hangars in the closest. A full length mirror would have been nice and also a chair for the desk. The reading lamps that hung over the bed got VERY hot to the touch and I walked away with a quick burn on my arm. Ouch! A dish for the bar of hand soap would be great so it doesn’t run all over the sink.

I loved the facility as a whole. Clean and it was awesome. Pool was fantastic, room was exceptional and value was awesome. I loved the contactless. The bed, pillows, so comfortable. I'm planning a repeat visit.

Fix the rusted toilet chain to the flapper valve inside the toilet in room #205 Singapore. I had to fix it manually 2x, gross! Also fix the broken hand towel loop mounted on the wall to left of sink. It's loose and doesn't hold a towel correctly. The main white drapes, fix the mechanics of how they open and close. The hangers don't work correctly, hard to open and close the drapes. I would also like to see a better ice machine. The existing one by coffee bar is very small, doesn't provide enough ice.

I loved that all the rooms had a theme and it was comfy and cozy. It looked just like the photos! Also the parking area was gated which made us feel safe!

I was a little sad to not have any staff on the grounds in case we needed more towels or to see if someone would clean the pool. There were party cups and lots of bugs in the pool! Also there are no mini fridges or microwaves in the suite I stayed in those are only available in the common area but the fridge wasn't big enough for guests to share. Better bet to just order food or go eat out! Also also our beds support beams were hanging on by a thread!

This is our second time staying here. While the hands off approach at the location may not appeal to some, we actually found it to be rather pleasant. The communications regarding access to the parking lot, hotel entrance and our room were pretty straight forward. The “Paris” room was lovely, spacious and elegantly decorated. We were kind of sad we only stayed one evening this time.

We were not able to connect to WiFi in our room. The only option that showed up was the lobby, which we did try but did not connect. This was not a huge deal at all for the one night stay.

The location is great and it was in a safe gated area. The property was nice and the room was good. The room size was great. The fridge was ok but it should definitely be moved to the other closet to make it easier to access.

There were only 2 towels and they were pretty small. I had to use a hand towel for my hair. The room was good overall but it could definitely use some updating to paint and trim. The hallway light was out and it was pretty dark. The hallway and staircase had a weird mold and incense smell.

If you are not familiar with a self service hotel, it might feel strange in the beginning. BUT, dot get discouraged! The facilities are excellent, the rooms are amazing, the location is great (5-6 minutes from downtown), very safe area. Frequent communications, available for anything you need. Honestly I couldn’t recommend more!!
