This place is exceptional. Everything is thoughtful, the staff was very helpful, the facilities were all you can wish for. The villa had a view to die for and it was very clean, well maintained and stocked with all you might need for your stay including washer/dryer, dishwasher, barbecue. We will be coming back. My favourite part was swimming in the extremely clean water in the marina, even the access to the water is very well planned and all you need are water shoes.

It is not a complain, just FYI for guests:We didn't use the washing machine but if we wanted to, there was only one tide pod, so maybe bring your own or ask staff in advance if you plan to stay longer... Also, I know it is hard to maintain pools with so many guests and kids, but the jacuzzi had a pretty strong bleach smell and a yellow line around the water. water there might have to be replaced more often rather than just adding more chemicals...

The facilities far exceeded our expectation. Room consisted of a 2 level townhouse w 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms ( one w both large soaking tub and walk-in shower), full kitchen, dining and living room w fireplace and large screen TV( Netflix and Amazon Prime available), large deck w water views. The facilities included spa with waterfall and fire pit, sauna, infinity pool and large outdoor hot tub, fitness center and water access for kayak launch. Parking free and plentiful.

Restaurant on-site was closed for 2 consecutive days which happened to be the 2 nights of our stay. Use of the spa was a bit pricey when purchased alone but was included w/ other spa services.

I recently stayed at the Painted Boat Resort and had an amazing experience. The resort is exceptionally clean and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. One of the highlights was the stunning view from the bedroom, which was truly breathtaking. Although I didn’t get the chance to try the BBQ and spa facilities this time, I hope to enjoy them on my next visit. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, and when we checked out, they even provided us with information on great hiking spots and local attractions. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at the Painted Boat Resort and highly recommend it. It’s the best resort I’ve ever been to!

From the moment you walked into the reception, everything was perfect! We loved it. It was clean, comfy and had all the amenities your expected.

The local restaurant is too pricy for families in my opinion. Would be great if they could offer regular options there too. We found some nice restaurants in the area that did cater for us.

Spacious and comfortable

There is no soundproofing between apartments. We had a very noisy family above us who let their toddler stamp and jump around for hours on end - this went on for most of the day and the noise started early and went on past midnight. The kitchen was not well equipped even though there was enough space .

Excellent maintenance throughout. Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. Kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoyed the massage and spa.

Too much furniture in our suite. It was difficult to navigate around it all. I think all that furniture was meant for a larger suite. It would be so much more comfortable minus a couple chairs and desks.

A beautiful location and luxurious apartment. Small but attractive infinity pool and adjoining hot tub. Nice onsite restaurant (closed Sun & Mon) and good supermarkets nearby. We played golf on nearby Pender Harbour 9 hole course which was hilly, wooded, friendly and fun. The spa looked good but quite pricey.

No activities nearby unless you have your own kayak, bicycle, boat etc. Definitely need a car for this resort.

Big, well laid out suites with 2 bathrooms and a really big deck plus a smaller deck off the primary bdrm (both ocean facing). Nice little infinity pool just the right temp. Beds and furniture were comfortable.

Pillows were lumpy and no pillow menu (all the same). We had some challenges booking all 4 of us into the spa around the same time period. Many changes made by the spa then 2 of our appointments were cancelled and we had to drive to a spa in Sechelt for our pedicures (a half hour drive each way). The resort apologized to us and allowed us a generous amount of time in the spa garden together (no additional charge) plus a bottle of wine and chocolates 😊.

The villa loft was fabulous, had a great view over marina and pool. Kitchen well equipped, superb fridge with ice cube machine. Very well maintained, and friendly staff. Been there a second time already, both times excellent. Also love that they take recycling seriously.

Villa was clean, large, beautiful view, good TV, well stocked. Parking was assigned and close. Spa service Aplus. Would go again with friends.

Restaurant. Was only open for dinner but was not open Tues as advertised and I sent an email asking about takeout and did not receive a reply.
