We had a comfortable stay at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Vancouver Airport. The location is very convenient—close to shopping centers and a variety of restaurants. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the essentials. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which had a decent selection (though could use a bit more variety). Overall, it was quiet, safe, and a good value for the price. Would definitely consider staying here again for a short layover or quick visit to Richmond/Vancouver.

The staff were kind and friendly. Doing the pre-check-in option was awesome. Everything was ready, and we went straight to our room without needing to worry about check-in processes. The room and beds were very clean. The hotel is close to the airport. The pool was nice, and the kids loved it. Adults enjoyed the hot tub.

We did not like the breakfast. My kids can not eat wheat/gluten, so we always choose hotels with hot breakfast so they can eat the eggs and bacon/sausage. The hotel served eggs and chicken sausage, which did not taste good. Obviously, it is a bigger issue for our family than it may be for others. There were lots of other breakfast options for those without dietary restrictions.

Online check in and out was easily, the little store with some essentials, food, and sweets was convenient. The rooms were comfy, and clean. There is a mall, many different styles of restaurants, fast food, and grocery stores all within a 1 to 10 block radius. There were auto shops and health services close by as well. Everything someone might need was very accessible. Taxi was 25$ to the airport and ferries only about 45 minutes to an hour away depending on traffic. Will use this hotel again if coming back to the area.

Pool has big windows the public can see into, curtains or tint for them would be good to add. No robes for going from room to pool, but many towels and a bathroom by pool.

Free breakfast. Free wifi. Elevator. 24 hour tea and coffee self-serve. Snacks and other necessities to buy. We had a choice to save water by keeping towels and sheets extra days.

The rubber bathtub mat had black on it, so we did not use it. Looked like mold. Saw two rats outside. Not a “green” property. Should have blue recycling bins in rooms for recyclable items, and compost bins in dining room. Loud traffic from street. Double pane windows might help.

During my stay at the hotel, I particularly enjoyed the breakfast bar with its waffle maker, which allowed me to indulge in freshly made waffles each morning. Additionally, the beds were incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I was disappointed with the attitude of the staff, who seemed disinterested and unenthusiastic about their work, creating a negative atmosphere. Additionally, the pool facilities were mediocre, lacking proper maintenance and amenities. Moreover, the constant noise from airplanes passing overhead was disruptive and affected the overall tranquility of the stay.

While my stay at La Quinta was generally enjoyable, there was one aspect that I found slightly disappointing. The breakfast offered at the hotel, while convenient, lacked variety and freshness. The options were somewhat limited, and the quality of the food fell short of expectations. Additionally, the dining area tended to get crowded during peak hours, making it difficult to find a table and enjoy a peaceful meal. Overall, while the breakfast service provided a convenient option for guests, I felt that there was room for improvement in terms of the selection and quality of food offered.

Checkin was simple and efficient. Arriving at a less busy time also helped. The room was clean and ready for us. The location was great as we were able to take the Canada Line within walking distance of the hotel, (less than 15 minures at a casual walking pace) thus avoiding needing a vehicle to get to the hotel. While there was no airport shuttle, the cost of a taxi ride was minimal ($18.00). This made it more affordable than trying to find a hotel with an airport shuttle. Lots of Asian restaurant options around the hotel to choose from and a McDonald's within walking distance for those who want to do a late night snack run. The Lansdowne Shopping Centre is close by, making mall shopping quite convenient.

While the location was great and near the airport, it also meant hearing some planes overhead as they arrived and departed from Vancouver International Airport. While the hotel was clean, the carpets and furnishing were beginning to show their age and could probably use some updating. There wasn't a mini fridge in the room so we could not put our beverages or leftover food in a place to keep cold.

Close to airport. Ideal for a night if you have an early departure flight. Although not used the pool looked good. Small convenience store on site.

Thin walls meant we listened to the neighbouring occupants coughing all night. Noise from flights landing but it is an airport hotel. Great if you like Asian food as hotel is in the centre of dozens of Asian style restaurants. Not much else around the hotel.

Very helpful staff (front desk, kitchen and cleaners). Facilities were superb. Everything I needed and wanted (drinks station, breakfast, gym, room size, bed, blinds, bathroom, thing to put suitcase on, coffee machine with decaf, wifi) Cleanness and location great also.

Small negatives were some noise from planes and the breakfast wasn’t very healthy and got very crowded.

Breakfast was nice with some nice choices just missing lactose option for people who can have dairy ! Like oatmeal for coffee, almond milk for cereal . Not enough bananas.

Our room was too noisy with the heavy traffic outside and next to the windows was a fan also making lots of noise hard to sleep at night. I would improve the seal the windows that might cut down on the noise.
