The Mandarin Oriental Taipei impresses with its grandeur and attention to detail. The large, spacious rooms provide exceptional comfort, complemented by elegant interior artwork that enhances the luxurious ambiance. The hotel’s exterior architecture is striking, exuding timeless sophistication. Adding to the experience, the staff are warm and friendly, ensuring that guests feel genuinely welcomed. The dining options are excellent, with a variety of restaurants serving exceptional cuisine, making every meal a delight.

The breakfast service had long wait times, which is unexpected for a hotel of this caliber, and the noodle counter chef did not understand English, leading to frustration. The fitness gym was lackluster and uninspiring, lacking the premium feel expected at a Mandarin Oriental property. Additionally, it was disappointing that hotel guests were charged a high fee to use spa facilities like the steam room, sauna, and vitality pool—amenities that are often complimentary at other luxury hotels. Lastly, the exterior swimming pool had an issue that irritated my eyes, detracting from what should have been a relaxing experience.

Thanks Mandarin Oriental and all the staff , very attentive from Valet staff in arrangements for my transportation and safety, thanks also to the restaurant staff for making me feel so comfortable and welcomed me in all the aspects they sang to me happy birthday almost in every restaurant the attention and quality superb I was celebrating for a whole 1 month my 54th birthday in different countries of Asia one of my visit included Taipei, thank you thank you thank you thank for my beautiful suit room, very cozy comfortable I give a 10! Star hotel . Housewarming in every detail from the comfortable bed the view from my room the way housekeeping organized my phone cables with mandarin oriental straps, the room was espectacular, room service with good service and great food. Location and Quality

Just amazing all the details that makes this place truly special. The service is great and the rooms perfectly decorated. -the boulevard suites are amazing and spacious. The Spa is one of the best if not the best in Taipei. The service is good and there are great dining options and Michelin star restaurants that are all fantastic. -Cafe Lugano is a great place for the French Onion Soup and the meat sandwich is amazing. The MO Bar had creative and excellent drink options. The boutique mall has many gems including a Richard Mille boutique.

A very small gripe but the parking system is very old compared to other hotels and locations in Taipei that all use your license plate. They use a parking ticket system which is old and prone to be problematic. Why they still use that old system is beyond me...

Super helpful and friendly staff, huge room (Deluxe King) and an amazing breakfast buffet. I can't say that the design is my style, but it's impressive (and eclectic) but par for the course with a Mandarin Oriental property. I always think they are better in Asia too. I'd would definitely stay again.

The only thing that could be improved is the pillows; they are too soft and flat for my taste. I don't know why hotels don't place both a hard and soft pillow on each bed so you can pick what you prefer.

I love all the details in my room, in the lobby, even the design of the restaurants. The food was superb too, everyday I'm always looking forward to have a delicious breakfast in a stylish place. I love the building and the fabulous design of the lobby... I would come back here again.

Oh I didnt get to experience the swimming pool because its under renovation at that moment... Hotel location is a bit away from the center, I have to take a taxi anywhere I want to go, but its fine.

Beautiful hotel. We loved our room and the staff were amazing. Top quality would stay here again.

The spa facilities could be better. Sauna and Steam room were not very hot and you have to pay additional to access the main spa facilities reserved for spa treatments.

Breakfast is good but not my favorite meal. I prefer to order from ala ca but the price is not worth compared with buffet. But I liked the coffee and bakery for free in the early morning offered the guest who can’t have a big meal..unlucky it is not my time, I missed it every single day.

Better to offer free coffee and small bites for a whole day in the public space.

Staff went above and beyond. Concierge helped us track down (and called many stores) to help up find where to buy specific brands of makeup and shoes. Turn down service will VERY nicely organize your clothes, makeup, etc. Service at breakfast service was very good ... probably the highest staff to guest ratio I have seen at a buffet.

Gorgeous property with state of the art equipment in the rooms. Very well trained staff, from the bellman to the pool attendant, to the breakfast staff to the housekeepers. The Mandarin Oriental Taipei does not disappoint. Great food, amazing beddings, very quiet ambiance.

If I had to say something then it’ll be location. Not within distance to underground, only buses. We ended up ubering most of the trips out to central.
