The spa was one of the best hotel spas, i particularly liked the roman and herbal steam baths, the outside jaccuzzi and resting area, and the inside thermal pool. The bar and the restaurant were nice too, the breakfast has a nice selection and the view from the terrace on the river. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and well locared at the heart of the town. Staff was polite and helpful. When i arrived from the staggering heath of a long train journey, joining a free yoga class under a beautifully painted high ceiling was like stepping into a refreshing oasis.

I noticed that the wallpaper in my room replicates the motive of an elegant couple accompanied by a enslaved black page boy - while the colours are beautiful, i found the imagery shocking and worth rethinking.

Onsite wellness spa was simply phenomenal. The herbal steam room had to be our favorite and the ice grotto was cool. Our room was beyond expectations. The blackout curtains worked perfectly since German summers have extended daylight. The included breakfast & wait staff were amazing! Five stars ⭐️ hotel at a four star ⭐️ price.

We didn’t know that you had to make reservations for dinner in the hotel restaurant 24 hours out. Some literature on the wellness spa would have been nice as well.

European grandeur and beautiful location. Spa was amazing as was breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good cafe and restaurant options at the hotel and nearby.

No air conditioning in rooms. Decor was dated and our "mountain view" room consisted of a view of a cliff, since the hotel is basically built into the "mountain", so someone had got creative with the descriptions there.

This is a beautiful, elegant, classic hotel. Staff were attentive & helpful. Bedroom quiet with a lovely view of the river. Breakfast good. Hired bike from reception to cycle to Koblenz - good bikes and only €10 Euro for half a day. Thermal pool facilities lovely (swimwear required). Sauna area excellent (textile free - nude). Parking in front of hotel €15 or park at the back for €5.

Great location, spa areas are well kept and clean, great choice at breakfast, I had a nice view of the Lahn from my balcony. So very nice restaurants near by as menu in the hotel is very limited, room was very clean

Parking was chaotic at the front of the hotel, on my first night it was a city festival event so hotel was very noisy even after the event all I could hear was staff dragging furniture across the floor untill 2am. Slow service at the bar

The reception staff requires better training. A word of warning- don’t leave the room key at the reception if you plan to come back after 10 pm. We were lucky the bar was still open. And the barmen was not particularly happy about having to leave his post to help us.

The hotel seemed empty. The hotel cleaning staff for the room did the bare minimum. It would have been nice to have the bathroom toiletries & towels refreshed daily.

Excellent experience, the hotel offers everything for a great holidays: top location, clean and comfortable room, good restaurant, amazing spa, and convenient on-site parking.

I loved the architecture, furniture, chandeliers, art and wellness area including the beautiful pool with its lovely decoration on the ceiling. Breakfast was very good with a number of healthy items and their restaurant is magnificent. I felt like transported back in time and loved it.
