Very accommodating and helpful staff! I showed up two hours before check in and they were able to get us in a room immediately and even upgraded our stay. I let them know it was for a birthday celebration and they even sent up a beautiful plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a handwritten card. It was so thoughtful! The facility was clean and immaculate! You could also purchase spa services, but the regular amenities were excellent. They have indoor pool, and two whirlpools and a sauna. My friend and I spent the whole day there. The on store restaurant was good, but a little over priced. But we were in walking distance from 6+ restaurants coffee shops, and a brewery.

There was a lot of construction on the building next door. The noise wasn't a problem but it was a bit of a blemish to the view. When the finish it. It's going to be stunning! The only thing I could possibly find wrong with a perfect stay

Champagne and strawberries were delish and a nice touch for our NYE engagement celebration. The room was spacious; the in room dining food was delish.

The bathroom was not what was advertised. We were given a room with a bathroom that was not marble with a tiny bathtub/shower combo which ruined my evening plans. A few minutes after checking in, I asked if we could have a different room with a larger bathroom but was told that those bathrooms were the only ones available for that room. When I spoke to the front desk agent, I was told that there was nothing they could do to remedy this and did not offer anything to make up for the inconvenience. We specifically booked the bathroom and the balcony. The balcony could also use some work.

The location is very centrally located to so many great shops, restaurants, and right off the highway. The pool area was quiet and clean, and the staff was amazingly accommodating. We interacted with the concierge, front desk, and valet and all were very kind and sociable.

The spa was incredibly overpriced for the experience. The balcony was very plain and dirty, with rust stains on the railing and dirty sliding glass doors. The bathroom was outdated and not as described on their page (small 2-in-1 shower/tub, as opposed to a larger tub and shower separate). There was no personal refrigerator in the room, and we were charged $25 to get one brought up. I expect all of these issues to be non-issues at a five star hotel.

We were greeted with smiles and politeness at 10:30 pm after leaving a different hotel due to sanitary concerns. ( other hotel is not related to this one ) My fiancé and I walked in with leggings, stained cargo pants, t shirts, and dirty skate shoes but were treated the same as guests in suits and dresses. The room was extremely clean and bathroom as well. The shower had soap, shampoo, and conditioner which all smelled great. The bathroom also had mouth wash and lotion. I’m not sure if the rooms have sound deadening or guest are just very quiet but we did not hear anything throughout the night. In the morning we went to the restaurant in clean clothes of course but certainly not fancy. We were treated with nothing but respect. One of the restaurant workers even walked with my fiancé to help her find the bathroom. It seems like everyone cares about their jobs here

The room was very nice, spacious, and the amenities were good. Enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant. Shuttle service to the Bowl was helpful. The inside pool and hot tub area was kept clean. Nice size fitness room and decent equipment.

Not having a refrigerator in our room, little things should be paid attention to such as blown light bulbs, soap dispensers, etc. The chairs outside by the pool area need to be replaced.

This hotel is very clean with all of the amenities to make for a comfortable stay. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you have an exceptional experience. Housekeeping is always cheerful, and anxious to provide for our needs. Though the times were booked full for Easter weekend, the tea party is the most adorable setup. Personally I am anxious to return with my preschooler just for that. The grounds are nice, and the balconies offer the perfect place to take it all in or just enjoy a quiet read. After a bit of a mixup, I was able to see the professionalism in management that justifies its stars. It’s not about the stay, its about the experience. In short the Ballantyne is not just a hotel, it is a place to retreat, relax, and receive a much needed pampering, whatever your reason may be. I 100% Recommend, and I cannot wait to return.

Beautiful Location and impeccable facilities. I loved the area and all the accessible restaurants and shopping near by. This hotel was truly beautiful and the out doors has something for everyone. Playground for children quietly sit on the green or water, so much seating and space.

hidden fees for room tax at the restaurants not clear what included on the menu for the the breakfast when we ordered. beware and ask to clarify if you have breakfast included. I was told we can have anything on the menu.

Loved every aspect of this hotel def. Worth what is charged will be coming back for sure!

Directions/signs to find facilities. Did have to ask a lot of the worker where things were. I did also go to the spa I never received my complimentary drink but my sister who accompanied me did. Maybe some clarification of what is offered.

Overall everything was very nice. My friend and I enjoyed our time. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Sampled whiskey and other cocktails. All of the staff were over the top amazing!

We did have a little guest (roach, the palmetto bug size) in our room that a staff person had to come and remove for us. It was a bit surprising how nonchalant everyone seemed about it. Saw another one in the hallway the next morning. Never heard from management with any kind of apologies which was odd.

Beautiful property and loved the location. Close to lots of great restaurants. The spa was incredible and we loved the whirlpool.

Would’ve loved to have a fridge and microwave in the room. When we asked about a microwave, we were told it would be $15 for them to bring us one to our room. We thought that was ridiculous, so didn’t do it. They said the pool was heated but it didn’t feel like it. Didn’t bother me but my wife didn’t get in.
