Amazing hospitality with pick up service at Kawaguchiko station. Room is so huge and comfortable. There’s a balcony with stunning views of any Fuji. Bathroom is huge also. No bathtubs but there’s a large public onsen with sauna! Onsen is really comfortable and the open air onsen is cool too! Breakfast was a choice between american and japanese and both were delicious!

The location is kind of far from Kawaguchiko station and it’s located on a hill. If you’re coming here do use the pick up service or it’ll be a hell of a climb.

An experience I’ll never forget. Incredible view of Mt Fuji from the room, reception and onsen. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming and even took our luggage to the room for us and also offered a welcome tea which was delicious. Onsen was quiet so had it to myself both times I used it and they provided robes, the open air onsen was amazing to enjoy the view of Mt Fuji as well. We didn’t do the dinner but had the breakfast and was great value for money as it was so much food and sat by the window to enjoy the view. We also enjoyed coffee in the room overlooking Fuji. They also had bikes which I wish we used to ride around the lake if we had more time. Convenient shuttle to get you and take you to the main bus stop. Cute and cosy bar to have a drink in reception or by the fireplace. Upstairs bar was unfortunately closed when we went but a beautiful view again over the lake and Mt Fuji but would have been amazing to have a drink and watch the sunset there.

Nothing about the property but if you are wanting to eat somewhere else keep in mind they close early and is a bit of a walk to get to and a hill to get back to the property.

The location is a on a steep hill, do consider the shuttle timing when checking in. There's a red line bus stop just by the road outside, it's convenient to sightsee for red line. Balcony view faces Mount Fuji, sunrise sunset moments are easy to capture from vantage viewpoint. Lastly, remember to visit the sky bar to capture the starry night. It's amazing. Breakfast was good, we tried both the Japanese and Western options. The add on for dinner was good too. Ambience wise, there's a few insta worthy corners at the lounge, go have fun!

The view this hotel offers is breathtaking, overseeing Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji. The ambience of this hotel I feel is extra special. Every area of the hotel is aesthetically pleasing from entrance, to reception, bedroom, dining room, and lounge. Each level of the hotel is decorated with various artworks THAT ARE NOT PRINT but original paintings (if you're artsy you'll love this place). The sky lounge and private hot bath at sunset is unforgettable. The hotel also provides a shuttle service, to and from Kawaguchiko Station. I also recommend their E-bikes... it gave me the opportunity to explore the lake and see Mt Fuji at different vantage points.

Wonderful greeting from staff! Used multiple amenities such as e-bikes, private bath, onsen, and breakfast service. Vegetarian accommodations were perfect for us. Upon check-out, we used the hotel provided shuttle to return to the bus station. Also the view of Mt. Fuji and the lake from our balcony was spectacular. The hotel even provided blankets, portable heaters, and outdoor lighting for us to enjoy the relaxed view. Lastly, we loved the decor in the main lobby and the art displayed throughout the building. Would highly recommend this property and location to any wandering traveler!

Walk up the hill to the main entrance was strenuous at times. Also directions were not clear at check-in on how to use the e-bikes (we did not know that we needed to check-out a bike key). Dining options outside the hotel all close early around 8-9pm, so we struggled finding vegetarian food one night and ended up buying groceries instead.

1. Location: EXCELLENT!!! This hotel has the best location on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, in my opinion, because ALL the rooms have the lake view of Mt. Fuji. The room's balcony is spacious and big enough to sit outside and enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji, weather permitted. Even better, each room has the floor to ceiling sliding door that will allow you to enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji from the comfort of your room in case you don't want to venture outside. We were lucky that the weather was perfect during our stay and got a great view of Mt. Fuji under the moon light for three straight nights. The hotel is also right in front of one of the stops of the Omni bus red route. The hilltop location is a bonus in my opinion since it gives you an unobstructed view of the lake and Mt. Fuji. If you have luggage, there's a button to call the hotel at the bottom of the hill and someone will drive down and pick you up. The hotel is about 10' drive from Kawaguchiko Station. When you arrive at the station, contact the hotel and they will pick you up at the stand #10 where hotel shuttles pick up their guests. 2. Staff: EXCELLENT!!! I can't say enough to compliment the hotel staff. The front desk were very accommodating in making sure our requests were met with excellent results and we appreciated it. They made restaurant reservations for us and even drove us to the restaurants and picked us up afterwards. Kudos to drivers Mickey, Kasiwaghi, and Okomura (I hope I got their names right)!!! 3. Room: EXCELLENT!!! The view of Mt. Fuji from the hotel is PRICELESS. The room is very clean and quiet. On the scale of 1-10, I would give a 20! 4. Breakfast: EXCELLENT!!! You have a choice of Japanese and American. I picked Japanese for three days and was happy with it. It was a set menu but the food was excellent. Combining the food and the view of Mt. Fuji from the restaurant, you get an unforgettable experience. And the restaurant staff is equally excellent as well.

Loved everything! Staff are absolutely wonderful, this is one of the best places I have stayed. Ofcourse the view from the balcony in the room is amazing, with space to sit and relax. The public onsen and private rooftop onsen are wonderful watching the sunset with a view to Fuji. Don’t miss out on breakfast! Pick up from the train station and shuttle to town also worked really smoothly, just ask the helpful staff as we were able to arrive early to drop our bags off. The hotel lounge area is also very interesting and enjoyable, lots of art, books, relaxing and comfortable. Will always remember our stay here and recommend. Thankyou!

Excellent location with view of Mt Fuji and the lake. Very cosy and nice ambience in the hotel with live singing by the bar, a library full of books, free hot drinks in the morning and chilled drinks throughout the day. Both indoor and outdoor Onsens were good. With view of Mt Fuji. Bed was very comfortable in the room with little luxuries such as chocolates, Nespresso and quality tea bags. Balcony to enjoy the view was fantastic. Free bikes for rental to cycle round the lake-- such a great way to explore. Staff were all helpful and friendly with super professional vibes. It is 4 star small hotel instead of 3 star. Totally worth the price. Will definitely stay again.

Nothing for us. Everything was perfect. For those who walk, the hotel is a little climb uphill. I think there is a shuttle to pick up from the train station. We had no problems as we cycled up the hill with the bicycle which is electrically enabled!!

A Truly Memorable Stay at Mizno Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff at Mizno Hotel were incredibly warm and welcoming—including the shuttle bus driver who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. The service throughout our stay was excellent! One of the biggest highlights was the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji—visible from every corner of the hotel. It’s truly a sight to wake up to! The breakfast was another pleasant surprise—delicious, well-presented, and satisfying, with a lovely selection to start the day right. Highly recommend Mizno Hotel for anyone visiting the area. A beautiful stay with equally beautiful service!

Absolutely lovely staff. This was the one hotel experience over the 2 weeks we traveled in japan where we felt truly at a four star experience. It was a nice mix of western amenities with a japanese touch. We stayed at another property in Fujikawa (Maruei), but loved this one the most. Facilities, room, and view of fuji exceeded expectations. Would definitely come back to stay here in Fujikawa. The breakfast was prepared very intentionally and was well presented and most importantly, delicious.

Our stay was a little expensive, but it was cherry blossom season after all.
