The property is in a vineyard and most rooms oversee a nice grape + tree + lake view. I stayed at Aoraki suite which is very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is daily complimentary cheese board - minibar, chips and a bottle of rose are also complimentary. I tried the “Trust the Chef” dinner at the estate which is very good. Quality food plus reasonably priced wine pairing / wine menu. Breakfast was good - continental plus a la carte. Last but not least, at the retreat suite there is a very nice lobby, infinity pool and hot tub.

The entrance of the hotel and the reception was a little bit hard to find at first, as Google directed me to another closed entrance - and there is no clear sign where the hotel reception is (and the estate is big). So I drove through 3 properties until I found the reception.

Beautiful views of the mountains and snow during winter. Lovely accomodating staff and the grounds are so picturesque. I only stayed one night and it wasn’t enough time to take it all in

As it’s a boutique hotel you need to be prepared in advance with timings, (something I didn’t anticipate with my flight times whoops) as things move slowly - part of the charm on a longer stay to help you unwind. I thought the selection of teas in the room could have been higher quality not just dilmah but perhaps I’m unnecessarily picky on this one

Stoneridge Estate is my favourite accomodation I've ever stayed in. The rooms and facilities were amazing. Being out at Lake Hayes and away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown was so relaxing. Wineries, Arrowtown, Ayrburn, Frankton Arm are all a quick drive away. The hot tub was great and the wine/cheeseboard each evening was a lovely addition. My partner and I enjoyed simply walking around the estate and looking at all the beautiful autumn colours. And the breakfast and coffee each morning was fantastic!

Our stay at Stoneridge was little short of ideal! The grounds were simply stunning - you take a steep drive up to the resort, passing by vineyards and rose bushes. The buildings have a historic stone and wrought-iron look and truly feel like they have been there for centuries. Walk around the grounds and you might also see the very cute, peaceful chapel. The rooms were, again, stunning, with beautiful views over Lake Hayes. They were spacious and thoughtfully furnished, including the bathrooms which had his and hers sinks. On checking in, we were greeted by their very friendly staff who offered us two glasses of rose and a lovely cheese board. In short, we loved it here - it felt like pure luxury!

The breakfast (included) was a bit less than we had imagined for the price, but fine and the locale was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The A/C in our room was weak, so the room ran hot throughout the day and even at night

Stoneridge Estate was like a dream! The buildings and grounds were straight out of a fairytale and the staff treated us like royalty. The breakfast was the best I've ever had and the complimentary cheese platter upon arrival made us feel very special! Especially since we were able to have it while we enjoyed the hot tub!! It was a great location to be able to visit Arrowtown and the river nearby. Definitely the best place I have ever stayed!

Cannot say great enough things about The Stoneridge Estate! I came to this resort for my honeymoon, and we couldn't have picked a better place. We stayed in a Retreat Suite and were greeted with wine and a cheese board. The suite was beautiful, beds were comfy, and facilities were top-notch. The pool and hot tub were delightful, and we could have stared at the views forever. Definitely a place you won't want to leave!

Brekkie needs to be improved on, first day my omette was cold, second day had the banana bread, seriously I’m not sure where the chef got that recipe but it was awful. Gave my wife a bite and she said it was inedible. Would be great to have a golf cart to take you to and from your room for meals, that hill is seriously steep to walk

The property has lovely landscaping located on a hillside with spectacular views. The owner and family work diligently to keep it looking and running smoothly. Brooks was exceptionally friendly and made us feel at home as well as the entire staff. Dining is excellent and we loved the special wine and cheese board in the evening.

The whole stay was exceptional - the location is amazing, and the views from every room are just SPECTACULAR. On top of that, Stoneridge has beautiful rooms, very friendly staff who gave incredible service and went out of their way to help, delicious and generous breakfast.

The property itself was beautiful and the rooms were luxurious. The cheese platter and glass of wine in the evening is definitely the highlight of our stay. Breakfast was lovely.

The room we were in didn’t have a full length mirror, and some glasses/tumbler to put makeup brushes and toothbrushes would have been good. I think the makeup pads should be removed from the bathroom (if you want to stay true to being environmentally friendly). If you are increasing any prices e.g late check out fee - it’s best to update it on all avenues (including your printed compendium, website etc) otherwise it’s just inconsistent. It’s also good business practice to honour what was originally quoted rather than quote new prices and to find it wasn’t updated everywhere else.
