The room was bright and cheerful, well furnished and spotlessly clean. Having a separate seating area was an asset. Much quieter than we expected, given the location. Good to have restaurants, cafes etc right on the doorstep, but without disturbance. Easy walk over the bridge to the historic city centre.

Access just a little tricky. The wooden entrance door is to be found under the awning of the ice cream parlour ('Gelataria') at Nº 74. The small plaque says "Architect Suites", rather than Archisuites. It took a few attempts with the security code before the door would open. Street parking is metered, not free, except at night. There is a large multi-storey (closes midnight to 7:00am) by the roundabout opposite 'Portugal Pequenitos' (barely 100 mtrs from the apartment) which was offering free parking at the time - not sure that is always the case. Mattress a little firm for me, but this is the norm in Portugal and is of course anyway subjective.

The room was absolutely perfect : cute, clean, with all necessary stuff (kettle, coffee machine, A/C). Also, different kinds of pillows (hard / soft) which is great to accommodate everyone's taste. The location is perfect, not in the center of Coimbra but just across the bridge, very walkable ! Also, the windows cut the traffic noise unbelievably well. Really pleased with the place !

I had filtered accommodations in Coimbra based on the availability of a parking. But the place doesn't have a "dedicated" parking. So I was a bit disappointed. However, there is a large free underground parking minutes away from the place so it did the job.

While it looks like an old building the place is actually very modern and very clean. Huge bathroom. Coffee machine sucks. It ate more coffee pods than it produced. Would have been nice to have a fridge. As noted: no elevator so you get a free workout to the top floor (four flights of stairs). Parking is ok--got lucky for free street parking. We really liked the Taberna de Portugal restaurant across the street for typical food and really friendly service.

Starting with the location, it's great. Just above a really nice cafeteria where I had the best ice cream in a long time, next to it there is also a great sandwich place. Parking is 50m from the location, easy to find and cheap. The apartment is on the 2nd floor in a freshly renovated beautiful building. The place is brand new, beautiful room,, very clean and cosy for a night stay. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower. Check in and out was super easy to make. I wish all the stays would be like this one in this range of price.

Because we were travelling with heavy luggage, we had to struggle with the stairs. Also, for people who like to watch TV, it's just a small TV with 7 channels, that's it. We didn't care about it anyway.

We’ve had an excellent time staying at ArchiSuite, parking was great ( free over the weekend) and it’s super close to the apartment. The apartment’s location is fantastic, lots of cafes and restaurants on the same street and it’s only a short walk to the plaza, centre of Coimbra, just across the bridge. We’re very happy with our our stay as the apartment is secure, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Communication with the staff is also great! Thanks very much 🙏

The lack of fridge to put milk or drinks but not a big deal as there’s cafes downstairs anyway.

Good location though you have to be prepared to walk to anywhere of interest. Room was light, bright and clean, with thoughtful design touches and facilities not always available such as a coffee machine.

Stairs up to property - no lift! I was glad I was leaving on the Monday morning, as the noise which started from builders on the floor above was horrendous.

Very good location. Parking 2mins away. Bars and restaurants literally on your doorstep. Very clean,nice towels and sheets.

No light by the bed so had to get out of bed to turn it off. Coffee machine extension lead didn't work so had to move it into the bathroom. Had some difficulty getting in the room, didn't realise the door handle was a touch keypad as it wasn't lit up,just looked like a normal door handle. Reception supposed to be opened til 6 but didn't see anyone to ask but they had given me a number to call if I needed assistance.

Great location overall and especially if you travel by car as it was stress free drive into town and there was free underground parking just down the road at Estacionamento Convento São Francisco. Room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and cheerful. Overlooked street with views of old city but windows were great and kept out the noise. Bed and pillow comfortable, we slept well. 5 minute walk over the bridge to bottom of old city. Hosts very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Spacious room with great light, airy, comfortable, gorgeous new bathroom. Exceptionally helpful host Joao gave us fantastic tips and suggestions re local transportation to get to the library and botanical gardens via mini bus, and wonderful restaurants, shopping. Easy walk to historic area & across street from bus to university, terrific fresh pasta just 10 meters away at Ragu. Great dinner at Sete restaurant by the Sta Cruz church. Nearby Aldi to shop for other essentials was very convenient.

Would have appreciated 2 luggage racks for our suitcases, no where but the floor to put anything. Also a light on the side of the bed where the desk is, because that person could not read while the other slept, with no light source but the ceiling room light.
