Everything that mattered was done well - huge bed, big bathroom of good quality, and a small fridge was there (lately fridges have been removed in hotel rooms at the Hilton, for example). The value for money was good, and staff were friendly and helpful.

No kettle, coffee and milk. This is a basic in-room service at most places. A coffee in the room after a bad night’s sleep first thing in the morning is crucial. Most hotels - even low quality ones - provide this service. This is obviously NOT a major complaint. More of a comment if I was forced to suggest any area for improvement.

Location is excellent for several purposes: explore nice restaurants, cafes, galleries or sightseeing on foot or having a good and efficient connection with public transportation to Heathrow Airport, as well as to the railway stations. The bed is comfortable and the mattress is a friendly one to people's sensitive backs. The flat white coffee included in the breakfast is tasty and in the breakfast menu there are decent options to have a good start into the day. Staff at the reception were helpful and friendly (shoutout to Barbara and Marta, thank you both)

I wish the AC would have been turned off automatically (from the ipad controls in the room one could only keep it at the minimum but not having it turned off entirely) as it was not needed in March and for someone with allergies sensitivities is a bit of bummer, especially since I suspected the air filters were dusty. If it is not too much to ask for, a kettle would be really useful to have in the room (in case one needs to drink a tea with a medicine).

Having stayed in the hotel two times before, our experience has been consistently positive. The ambassadors are very friendly, approachable and helpful. We asked for our rooms to be on the same floor, which was accommodated immediately. The short distance to Liverpool Street Station is a big plus.

The elevator situation. When we stayed in April, there was maintenance and not all elevators were running. This time, there was still maintenance going on. Only one elevator was running. Making the wait times quite long; sometimes extra long as the cleaning crew was using that elevator as well for their cleaning and textile carts. One time the lone elevator was out as well, so we had to walk to the 9th floor.

The place is super clean, comfortable, and has a very modern layout. From check-in to the tv of the room, you can manage everything from a computer or tablet, very easy to handle and with a very helpful staff. The place is located about 15min from Liverpool Street station, which connects you to the airports and many other places around, very close to main attractions as well. It also has a huge bed with a lovely view from the city and the train tracks by side, and a fun toilet cabin with colored lights you can change with the mood. It was a wonderful place to stay after we needed to run away from another place in a awful state.

The lift takes a little too long to reach the different levels.

Good value hotel. Extremely comfy and large bed. I was given an accessible room even though I don’t require one. Based on photos my room was larger than their standard since it is designed for accessibility. This made it more comfortable. The ipad control for the room is a little annoying but being able to control the temp so easily was great. Staff were incredibly attentive & kind, especially the women who work the evenings. As a solo traveler, I loved that the front door is only accessible w a room key after 10pm and there are always staff around. Tons of bus options right nearby, tube at Liverpool st. If you’re a tourist who likes to walk, you could easily walk to the City, the Tower, London Bridge. Restaurants, coffee shops, tesco all within a block. Well situated for access to central and east London.

As many have noted, only 1 working elevator, confusing as this seems to be an ongoing issue. The entrance is on a plaza and off side streets that are a little empty and dark at night, not sure I'd feel super comfortable coming back alone late, but fine if you're with someone.

The rooms are very well designed, truly modern and tasteful, the bed is huge and the large window and thus great view give a wonderful vibe. Everything worked perfectly and I especially liked the iPad for the light, climate and media control. Never works in most hotels, but here it was a great addition. Everything had the purpose and it was super functional while not feeling cheap. For this price, you cannot get an equal comfort and view in central London. Try to check in early to select your room of choice on site (top floors are great and rooms will not be pre-selected when booking).

That there is only one single elevator working is troubling and can be annoying when you are in a rush. I also did not really like the smell of the bath products. Especially the handsoap smelled foul, but that is about personal preference. While the room was very clean, you were able to see quite a lot of hair and dirt in some gaps behind the bed, which seemed worrying. The location is certainly not bad and perfect for the City (for business travel), but for a tourist, there must be better areas, as getting around via the closest Liverpool Street Station can be pretty annoying.

Great location. Very cool look to the reception and bar area, and great room. Loved that the bar and reception area is open so late. IPad to control everything in room and colored lights was fun! Super comfy big bed. Free water from reception area was really useful. Staff were super friendly and nice.

The heating control on the IPad didn’t seem to do anything so the room was cold at night . When the blind pulled up so much dust came off the windowsill , the room was dusty overall and didn’t feel like it had been cleaned ! I got to choose a view preference for the room at check in which was nice but when I got in the room the main view was the back of an office building - bit disappointed, the city views on the pictures are far more impressive ! Overall none of this ruined the stay and I would likely stay again for that price.

Great hotel, convenietly located (walking distance to Liverpool Street Station - direct train/bus connection for Standsted Airport). The hotel is super beautiful, modern (you can remotely control everything with an ipad) and clean. They take care of all the small details to make your stay fab! (offer toiletries, rooms have blackout curtains, a small fridge to keep whatever you need and lots of storage to make the most out of the limited space - the bed itself was however huge compare with the total size of the room and super comfy). Big plus - is self check-in - we arrive at 10am and directly got one of the empty rooms at the moment so it was amazing to not have to wait until check-in time like in most hotels!

Absolutely best spot for Shoreditch in London. One of the best Hotels I've ever visited. The bed is really ultra comfy and even it not looks like on the picture it is really long enough (2x2m?). Very good noise cancelling. Filtered water for free and a really good marzocco coffee bar. The breakfast is sooo good and worth every penny. Everybody is nice and friendly. 100% recommended.

You cannot open windows so the AC is always on and points directly on the bed. Would help if you could point it in another direction... 2 of 3 lifts out of order, costs some time and nerves ;)

The staff were universally kind, patient, and welcoming. I have a medical issue that limits my diet, but the offerings I could enjoy were excellent and abundant. I had an event nearby and the selection of hotels in that area are limited, but the hotel was perfect for us as I was able to walk easily to the venue. My wife and I spent a pleasant couple of hours savoring the nearby Spittalfields Market as a bonus.

The room was obviously designed by a younger generation. We had some difficulty understanding how to control the lights from the supplied iPad, but eventually learned.
