Serene and relaxing. Third stay at CL. Showing its age for the price per night but still a lovely stay. The stocked mini bar a nice touch.

Could perhaps use a refurb in terms of a paint job and perhaps the rooms. The dinner underwhelming compared to our last 2 visits over a 15 year period. The dinners used to be a highlight. We probably wouldnt do dinner nxt time for what was paid pp. Breakfadt was fine. The arvo tea and wine tasting that we didn’t partake also a surprise and delight touch.

My husband and I had a great stay at Cape Lodge! The property is beautiful and centrally located. They are one of the only places in the area that offers dinner, which was spectacular. The staff was so helpful when it came to navigating the surrounding area and even gave us a map with suggestions for activities we were interested in. We also booked a tour through Cape Lodge and had an incredible time! We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful setting and close to many wineries

Staff were friendly and helpful ,but lacked direction ,they were young people on a 3 year working visa We were disappointed that there was not enough effort to get guests to interact The seats on the lawn were wet and put in the shade The fire should have been on in the guest lounge and the place was cold when we arrived The property looked tidy but tired

Cape Lodge is on beautiful grounds and our villa looked out over the lake and yet was very private. The food was very good and the eclectic group of staff entertaining. Loved the wine tasting sessions and afternoon teas that were included in our package. The location is great for exploring the Margaret River wineries and restaurants.

If you choose to stay and dine in the onsite restaurant for more than 2 days then the menu can be rather limited. There is so much to do in this region but when we approached the staff for suggestions or recommendations, particularly about restaurants for lunch they didn't have very much to say or offer. The in-room guide gave a couple of ideas but I think better information could be provided. The one suggestion we did do was lunch at Glenarty Roard - Farm to Table Restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Staff were extremely friendly and thoughtful and all were trained to a high level. The focus was entirely on customer satisfaction, which was delivered in spades. The breakfast, afternoon tea, pre-dinner drinks, and dinner, were fabulous. There's no need to even leave the Lodge; there was ample to eat and drink while enjoying the most picturesque lake views.

The dinner menu could be more variable; the selection was suitable for two nights' different dinner but would not be so for three.

The whole surrounding

Needed more of a fitness facility, as basically in the middle of dunsborough and Margaret river, and quite a few kms to a gym, you need weights a few more machines etc

Private property. Exclusive. Adults only. Peaceful. Friendly staff. Nice food.

Breakfast and dinner menu is limited so if u stay for long you might not have much variety. For 2 days its was just nice, we tried everything.
