Comfortable and welcoming

Like so many hotels these days… no soap bar, but the tiny liquid soap bottles where empty and just had the lids but back on and not replaced

The room size was great as there was 3 of us, plenty of space for us all. Very comfortable, room was cosy and beds were very comfortable. Staff were welcoming and breakfast was phenomenal! One of the best we've had from a hotel in a very long time! Also its location to Bunratty Castle/Folk Park is excellent, took us about 5 minutes to get there, plenty of lovely cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from in the area.

Floors were a bit creaky, walls in rooms are thin so could hear people talking early in the morning in adjoining rooms. Could also do with some more toiletries, we didn't travel with any in the hope there would be some in the rooms but wasn't enough for us all. Unfortunately there was no music in the bar on the night of our stay, and restaurant was also closed so had to go out to eat and have drinks.

Bunratty Manor Hotel was a Gem of a stay . Every single staff member was welcoming , friendly , approachable and helpful. I had no expectations as i was not familiar with this hotel but loved my stay and will definitely return. Food was stunning also . I would recommend this location for dinning independent of staying here . Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The location is great , plenty of parking . This location is perfect for solo travel, business travel, family and couples. Would recommend to friends.

The room was very clean and we were allowed to checkin earlier that the provmised checkin time which was very much appriciated and helpful The location of hotel to Bunratty castle and Bunratty bus stop was very close and ideal.

Everything was great, the only thing was a bit of disappointment at the breakfast, we were asked for coffee/tea and cold drinks before were were given breakfast menu so we thought it was complimentary or we were not aware of its price but we were charged for it

Our room was spacious, clean and had a FAN! we were so hot everywhere, and the 2nd floor was very hot. The fan was a very unexpected pleasant surprise!

Booking rooms was confusing and when we arrived, the desk did not have the additional room we requested even though i had messaged them repeatedly and had confirmation via email. They did have an extra room available, so we were ok.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting the Bunratty castle and walking distance to it as well as restaurants and shopping. They also have an amazing restaurant and pub in the hotel itself. We actually stayed twice because it was such a perfect stay. Once in the beginning and once at the end of our trip. It’s only a 10 minutes drive to the Shannon airport. The staff were all welcoming and accommodating.

There is nothing we didn’t like.

Staff and food were absolutely great. We have had a few bad experiences lately in 4 star hotels, where the staff were very uninterested and the food was disappointing. The staff of the Bunratty Manor Hotel restored our hope that Irish hotels have the ability to make it again after the pandemic, if they make sure to hire staff who are naturally hospitable!! The food was delicious and we enjoyed dining there both evenings of our stay. I had mentioned to a colleague where we were going to stay and her comment was "you will be well looked after" and she was right!

Everything was fantastic. The staff were super nice and were happy to accommodate our requests. Our room was very spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was meticulously clean and smelled great.

Because of the location, it does make your life a lot easier if you have a car. Breakfast is not complimentary so you will have to pay extra for it.

The hotel was lovely. Welcoming lobby manned by a very friendly lady that was only too happy to tell us how far we were from the castle/pubs and general rundown on Bunratty The bedroom was lovely, spacious and the en suite was a good size with a nice shower There is a large resident's lounge with armchairs and small tables where one can relax in small groups or larger groups if you so wish There is also the bar where you can have a few drinks or a night cap and of course a large dining room The diningroom does not open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, except for breakfast, in November so we dined 3 minutes walk away where we had a good choice of where we wanted to dine Comfort wise you couldn't ask for better. It is not a modern "precast" hotel but neither is it made out to be. It would take away from it if it was This is a beautiful hotel with all modern facilities blended with a lavish amount of friendliness, going the extra mile to help & be of assistance to you and "part of the family" atmosphere I can not recommend it enough and cannot wait to return again

All the food was five-star quality and absolutely delicious. I have several food allergens, and they made excellent accommodations and exceeded expectations. All the staff was super friendly and accommodating, and even explained how all the outlets and switches worked for the European 220 V system , radiator heat and underfloor heating in the bathroom. I loved that. I could just walk down the road and be near the bunratty castle and an entire shopping area with an excellent lunch place and quality Irish wool clothing.

It was a little noisy until 11 PM Friday night outside, the window as I could hear people walking and talking. But I fell asleep, very soundly and very comfortable and had a great night sleep my first day in Ireland after a long flight.
