Gaspare is a wonderful host. This was an important booking for us as we had 3 generations of family arriving from different places in high summer so I stayed in regular contact with Gaspare in the months and weeks before we arrived, and he answered every question and looked after all our requests. The location is superb, tucked away but a 1 minute walk to bustling paths and stores and restaurants. A wine bar next door was great too. Very few vehicles are permitted in the historical part of the town so it feels very traditional. A 5 min walk downhill to the beach. Cefalu is a stunningly pictaresque town, with a massive rock above it, and the Norman cathedral towers on the skyline, with more than enough boutiques cafes restaurants bars etc, but also a fair bit of the old town, especially as it backs onto the town beach, remains unchanged. Gaspare made us very welcome, lots of excellent recommendations, including superb restaurants all within a 5 minute walk, and tours, travel plans etc - nothing was too much trouble. . i have no suggestions here. There are a lot of stairs, for sure, but that's part of Cefalu, and my 87 year old father managed it every day for 11 days. And it means you get views over the historical area down to the sea, and along the coast, from the rooms.

Lovely clean, comfortable room with breathtaking views of the Old Town and ocean. Gaspare, the host, was a real character. He was very welcoming and helpful. He was terrific to chat with. Gaspare's communication before our arrival was excellent. On arrival Gaspare gave us a map of Cefalu, giving us suggestions of the things to do and recommended restaurants, all of which was most appreciated and helpful. There are a few narrow steps to climb to the room which was a bit challenging with your suitcase but very doable. Breakfast is served each morning from 8am-9.30am with cold cuts, cheese, rolls, fruits, yoghurt, coffee, sweets and delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. We appreciated the free bottles of water that we could access any time as well as the beach umbrellas guests can borrow. Coffee machine and fridge are found in each room. The room was spacious which included 2 lounge chairs and a cute little verandah which we loved sitting on. Absolutely loved our stay in this accommodation and Cefalu. Highly recommend.

Do not stay here if you cannot negotiate stairs up to the property and again and inside up at least 2 (if you get the lowest floor room!) very narrow staircases , carrying your luggage. Also, despite being advertised on booking.com as having private parking, there is no parking - you have to use the closest public car park which is 600m away. You will need a taxi to get there - you cant enter the old town in a hire car (its a restricted area with a 10 minute limit) to drop bags it just is not possible or practical. To be fair the host paid for a taxi to collect us from the car park after questioning why the property was advertised as having private parking, so all was well in the end :)

My daughter and I stayed at Cefalù in Blu, a beautiful guest house located in the historic heart of Cefalù, Sicily. We walked from the bus stop to the property and were warmly welcomed by the incredibly lovely Domenica. She checked us in, gave us a detailed overview of the property, and offered fantastic restaurant recommendations and sightseeing tips. Domenica’s hospitality continued every morning, where she was in the breakfast room serving up delicious coffee and preparing a delectable spread of food. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the day. Our room was bright, clean, spacious and very comfortable, with a magnificent view of the ocean. The location of the guest house was ideal, centrally located within walking distance of the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Though there are some stairs to climb with your suitcases, it’s definitely worth the effort. The breathtaking views and wonderful atmosphere make Cefalù in Blu a superb place to stay. A big thank you to the staff, especially Domenica, for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We will definitely be back. Grazie mille per tutto. Alla prossima. ◡̈

We stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon. All of the staff were exceptionally nice, accommodating and friendly. Rita did our check in and gave us loads of great recommendations for food and drink etc in Cefalu. Guspare generously let us check in early as our train arrived from Palermo int he morning, and leaving our luggage at the hotel on the day we checked out was no problem. The breakfast is really generous, the room was spacious and clean. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the old town. Would highly recommend and I'm sure we will be back in the future.

Nothing at all

Loved our bright room with beautiful views of rooftops and sea and loved having full length mirrors! Nice owner and staff. Breakfast was great! Cappuccino, fresh squeezed Orange juice. Nice selection of savory and sweet.

Bathroom was a little tight, but had everything you need. There were a lot of stairs that could be a bit tricky if carrying larger luggage, but I didn't mind. There happened to be a train strike (certainly not the fault of the inn!) but we had to arrive by Uber, as buses do not run on Sundays. If arriving by Uber or taxi, keep in mind, hotel is up a walkway and not approachable by car. The nice woman working at the inn kindly came and found us, as our Uber driver was a bit lost!

We had a really good time here. The owner was super friendly and helpful. He also made sure to remember our names while greeting us. He recommended places to eat and see in town. We loved the vibe of this place, which had a lot to do with the owner. You can see that he is very passionate about running this place. We got freshly squeezed orange juice and great coffee with our breakfast each morning. The room was spacious (with a small balcony and a couch) and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean.

Excellent location in the centre of Cefalu, walking distance to everything. Our room was small but exceptionally tidy, clean and well-stocked, with a gorgeous little balcony overlooking the sea. The beds were very comfy. The highlight of our stay here was the delicious breakfast buffet laid out in the breakfast room each morning, complete with barista-made coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others.

We had an amazing experience, wish we could spent more time here. The staff are super friendly and very informative, helped us with everything we needed. The room was spacious and very well equipped and the view from the balcony was amazing. The location is great, very close to basically everything and no need to walk a lot to or from the beach. We greatly appreciated that we could put down our bags at the reception in the morning, and also after the check out aswell, so we could enjoy the beach as much as possible. If we will every visit Cefalu again, we would surely stay here again!

The property was clean, accessible, and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The proprietor Gaspare was friendly, available and helpful. The cleaning staff was also very pleasant. We loved that we could go to the beach, shop, or eat and return things to our room before we went out again. There was a little balcony. Gaspare looked up the local bus schedule for us so we could take a day trip. He gave us a quick map orientation and recommendations for restaurants which were all very good. Our fellow travelers in the cozy breakfast room were friendly and open. So, all good. Great location. We would stay there again. View from room good, but we were not in the room very much. It would be helpful to note that it is very important to communicate the specific time you will be arriving. Gaspare did reach out and ask, and we gave a dinner time response. That was not specific enough and we were not aware that someone is not always on the property. So it should be noted probably with all Bed and Breakfasts that guests should check coverage for arrivals. We arrived to an empty property and it was a bit disconcerting. But it was quickly, within twenty minutes remedied. Gaspare quickly found us . It was a learning experience that arrival times or how to check in should be on the facility website. But travel navigation is always a learning experience.
