My daughter and I stayed at Cefalù in Blu, a beautiful guest house located in the historic heart of Cefalù, Sicily. We walked from the bus stop to the property and were warmly welcomed by the incredibly lovely Domenica. She checked us in, gave us a detailed overview of the property, and offered fantastic restaurant recommendations and sightseeing tips. Domenica’s hospitality continued every morning, where she was in the breakfast room serving up delicious coffee and preparing a delectable spread of food. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the day. Our room was bright, clean, spacious and very comfortable, with a magnificent view of the ocean. The location of the guest house was ideal, centrally located within walking distance of the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Though there are some stairs to climb with your suitcases, it’s definitely worth the effort. The breathtaking views and wonderful atmosphere make Cefalù in Blu a superb place to stay. A big thank you to the staff, especially Domenica, for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We will definitely be back. Grazie mille per tutto. Alla prossima. ◡̈

We stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon. All of the staff were exceptionally nice, accommodating and friendly. Rita did our check in and gave us loads of great recommendations for food and drink etc in Cefalu. Guspare generously let us check in early as our train arrived from Palermo int he morning, and leaving our luggage at the hotel on the day we checked out was no problem. The breakfast is really generous, the room was spacious and clean. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the old town. Would highly recommend and I'm sure we will be back in the future.

Loved our bright room with beautiful views of rooftops and sea and loved having full length mirrors! Nice owner and staff. Breakfast was great! Cappuccino, fresh squeezed Orange juice. Nice selection of savory and sweet.

Bathroom was a little tight, but had everything you need. There were a lot of stairs that could be a bit tricky if carrying larger luggage, but I didn't mind. There happened to be a train strike (certainly not the fault of the inn!) but we had to arrive by Uber, as buses do not run on Sundays. If arriving by Uber or taxi, keep in mind, hotel is up a walkway and not approachable by car. The nice woman working at the inn kindly came and found us, as our Uber driver was a bit lost!

We had an amazing experience, wish we could spent more time here. The staff are super friendly and very informative, helped us with everything we needed. The room was spacious and very well equipped and the view from the balcony was amazing. The location is great, very close to basically everything and no need to walk a lot to or from the beach. We greatly appreciated that we could put down our bags at the reception in the morning, and also after the check out aswell, so we could enjoy the beach as much as possible. If we will every visit Cefalu again, we would surely stay here again!

The property was clean, accessible, and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The proprietor Gaspare was friendly, available and helpful. The cleaning staff was also very pleasant. We loved that we could go to the beach, shop, or eat and return things to our room before we went out again. There was a little balcony. Gaspare looked up the local bus schedule for us so we could take a day trip. He gave us a quick map orientation and recommendations for restaurants which were all very good. Our fellow travelers in the cozy breakfast room were friendly and open. So, all good. Great location. We would stay there again. View from room good, but we were not in the room very much. It would be helpful to note that it is very important to communicate the specific time you will be arriving. Gaspare did reach out and ask, and we gave a dinner time response. That was not specific enough and we were not aware that someone is not always on the property. So it should be noted probably with all Bed and Breakfasts that guests should check coverage for arrivals. We arrived to an empty property and it was a bit disconcerting. But it was quickly, within twenty minutes remedied. Gaspare quickly found us . It was a learning experience that arrival times or how to check in should be on the facility website. But travel navigation is always a learning experience.

Not only was the location excellent for my stay to be able to walk everywhere safely as a solo female traveller, my host Gaspare and his lovely staff member made me feel so welcome. Gaspare is truly passionate about making everyone's stay about them and every morning greeted each guest by their name in the breakfast area. That is what customer service is all about!! My room was just so light and airy and clean and the view to the water was magnificent. The excellent breakfast provided every morning was just so fresh and lovely 😍. They are the best hosts. I will definitely be coming back again one day. Gaspare arranged for my taxi to collect me on the morning of my departure to the train station and even sent me a message later that afternoon to check if I had arrived safely in Syracuse.

Our stay at Cefalu in Blu was so enjoyable we could have stayed longer than 4 days! Gaspard our host could not have been more helpful…from explaining how the delightful property worked, to great restaurant tips and assisted us in booking our on going train trip. He made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. The room itself was airy and light. The bed very comfortable and everything you needed worked! The breakfast room upstairs was perfect…lovely breakfast, fresh orange juice and coffee made for you! Plus a great variety of fresh breakfast treats. All in all would highly recommend staying at Cefalu in Blu. Thank you Gaspard and team.

Absolutely loved Cefalu in Blu. Such a lovely room with everything we could need. Gaspere was so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Loved the breakfast - freshly squeezed orange juice and a great array of food. Liked being up high looking out over the rooftops. Adored Cefalu and will definitely come back and will certainly recommend Cefalu in Blu. Perfect.

It was a bit tricky to find and then hard work getting up all the stairs to the room, but it was more than worth it to be up high with such amazing views.

Cefalu in Blu is an excellent location near the duomo and an easy walk to shops and restaurants and to the beach. Gaspare was very friendly and helpful and made breakfast extra special with fresh squeezed orange juice and good conversation.. The room was comfortable and we slept well. We came from the train station wth luggage wth no problem. For Americans not used to the little streets and alleys in old cities like Cefalu it takes a moment to find the door up a little street but when you do, you will be greeted warmly and recognize your good location.

We are an older couple (74 & 68) and we loved our stay here at Cefalu in Blu. We knew there wasn’t a lift (like a lot of old places) but we had medium size cases & we’re fit & healthy enough to carry them up the stairs! It was worth it. Our room was a great size, comfortable & immaculately clean, with a quaint little balcony & beautiful views out to the sea. Staff were very friendly & helpful (thanks Gaspare/Myrhiam) and breakfast fresh & delicious. We loved the location too - an easy walk downhill to restaurants/shops/beach & a slower uphill walk on return!

Really nothing except in our much older age I’d love to think we could still manage stairs but by then might have to find a place with a lift!!!
