The property is located in the bay in the middle of the island, to get there, it’s approximately hour drive. The property offers a taxi service as well as providing the trips/tours for you. The resort is spacious and offers the privacy. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable. All the staff is very friendly and kind.

The internet connection was pretty unstable during some days. The variety of the food was not very high, especially in case you are full boarded and are spending there more than a week.

The area is calm and perfect for relaxing. Beautiful beach and pool area. The pool is very well looked after and they offer towels there since you can’t take the ones from your room which is perfectly understandable. Every morning there were people making sure the sand roads were in perfect condition and they even raked the beach so there was no seaweed when the tide was low. The hotel has many animals like donkeys, camels, turkeys chickens and so on but they were no bother and in fact we quite enjoyed seeing them. There were also monkeys but they didn’t take any contact to humans and were fun to watch. The housekeeping takes excellent care of the rooms, they clean our during the breakfast time and in the evening around 6-7 pm they come to spray the room for any mosquitoes and bring cookies. The hotel offers great variety of activities and we took the stone town + prison island -tour and snorkeling +sea turtles -tour. Both were well organized and we really enjoyed our time. The tour can be booked private or with other hotel guests. Food was great, some meals were not available during the lunch but we didn’t really mind. Especially the waitresses were really amazing and truly professionals at their job. Everyone spoke good english. Pool bar/beach bar were not open but we ordered drinks from the restaurant and they were brought to the pool. The hotel had few evening shows, live music and the masai people showing their culture. We stayed for almost 2 weeks. Also I lost my luggage and the hotel staff took care of getting it back for me and I didn’t even have to carry it to our room by myself. The hotel also offers airport pick up and drop off. In our opinion, the hotel is perfect if you’re looking for a laid back vacation, the staff is the kindest and the masai people take care of the safety. Also best naan bread we’ve ever had and we miss it everyday 😄

The breakfast time was a bit early even on the weekends. The balcony door didn’t stay closed if it was unlocked which was a bit inconvenient for a smoker but we just used some laundry line to to tie it close when we were on the balcony. The breakfast didn’t offer any cheeses or cold cuts which for a european was a bit odd and the juice selection could’ve been better too.

The hotel is very nice, quite and clean. When you are in the hotel, you fell yourself in paradise. The room was very nice, the garden is perfect (bonus feature the monkey gang stealing vegetable from the garden :-) :-) :-) ). Not a bad word about the hotel...but it is in the middle of nowhere. The closest "village" is Chwaka...where there is absolutely nothing. If you want to do nothing, absolutely nothing, just relaxing, the hotel is perfect. If you want some activity....:-(. Note that, even this is a seaside hotel, there is no beach, so you can't swim in the ocean. :-(

Amazing place, accomodation design set into the nature, sea view and easy access to the sand beach (also to the sea), originals ideas (for example fish keys), animals (camels, donkeys), helpful staff, tasty food at a pleasant restaurant with a seaview. Simply it was the paradise with beautiful bungalows and long beach. It was safe to be around also in the night.

Bicycles were out of services, but they still offered this service. Poor hungry cats around, but very annoying.

The place is very organized, people are welcoming and nice Food taste is good Rooms are clean, no mosquitos, but many geckos (harmless) I love the balcony with view, amazing

DO NOT GET FULL/HALF BOARD Menu very limited, sometimes food not available, need pay extra if need to change from the set menu, dont order beef! Bargain with anyone regarding excursion prices! No signs to post on room door! They can wake you up anytime of day for room service even when they forget to put soap in their first visit Noone swims in the sea, beach is not clean, Pool is somewhat not clean but okay. (Not sure why while swimming in pool you cannot see the sea, need to remove the brick fense!

The breakfast should be more continental. Good pastries, real bacon and eggs, and even nice fruit salads. The pool also needs to be cleaned often as it is outside. The cocktail area need to be used and also create activities around the hotel for guests (volleyball, football, beach activities, walks around chwaka)

Very nice place, very good condition of the pool and the outdoor space and the rooms are clean and very big.

A bit isolated from the rest of the island. If you are looking for a place to hide away- this is it. Prices are a bit too much as well - massage was super expensive and the food sometimes is not so good. As there isn't much next to it, you are stuck to these options. Constantly everyone wants to sell you a trip - from the people on the beach ( this is not the fault of the hotel) but also from the hotel - all the staff, from the driver to the cook. It was just a bit too much.

Very quiet and peaceful location. Nice beach, due to tides, you can swim there a half day, the water is nice though a bit shallow and very very warm. But it's possible to swim. Bungalow was very clean and comfortable.

The location is really remote. You'll need at least a scooter to be a bit mobile and able to get to nice and affordable restaurants.

Amazing aesthetics, magical, giving Alice in wonderland, great layout and the lights at night were cool. the octopus I had was so delicious as was all our food. the pool groovy and the sea swimable (no rocks) but only in the morning until about 11am

The staff presented me with an incorrect bill upon check out and were very sketchy about it demanding that I pay for many items I just did not order it was outrageous in fact and made me feel very uncomfortable, it has created a bad sentiment too as it was really quite shockingly untoward and honestly in the end has ruined the place for me - I won’t be returning because of that. Also because the service is way too slow most of the time.

Great views, clean comfortable room (cleand evey day) in bungalow Delux. Ideal place for chill out, out of crowds. Great service, people who do care about guests. Interesting activities and evening shows, like: Masai Show, amazing Acrobatic show or Karaoke. The atmosphere was so good that my wife sang in Karaoke for the first time in her life and after that she could enjoy a private lesson of singing & mindfulness with great teacher Mr Steven. With breakfast and dinners best smooth music in high level. Romantic environment. Special room for family games with available games: Monopoly, Chess, Uno etd., balls to play basketball and volleyball on the beach, nice swimmingpool. Real Maasai people who take care of guest very friendly and helpfull. We would highly recommended everyone!
