The room was nicely decorated and furnished. The staff were attentive for the inn. It was very clean and comfortable, great location if you want to be in down town. Nice touch with the breakfast boards.

It is an old building on the main high street so a little noisy, but to be expected. The plumbing was quite noisy. The food is great pub good, but I wouldn't describe it as a fine dining gastro pub, just perfectly tasty decent food, could have been a few more selections that weren't burgers. Cocktails were not the best, overly sweet and lacking in skill and imagination and took 40mins for our first drink to arrive and 30mins for desert.

We loved our stay at Slaymaker. Every member of staff we met was friendly and courteous. Our room was exactly as shown on the website - beautifully decorated and comfortable - we loved having a turntable with vinyl records to choose from - a selection located outside our room. We enjoyed having drinks in the gorgeous bar downstairs and OMG! the breakfast delivered to the trolley outside our room was devine!

The pictures on the Booking.Com website - look like the inn is not facing a main road - we were not expecting this but as we did not eat outside, and our room was located to the side of the building, this was not a problem.

It's a charming, stylish place with an interesting backstreet. The gastropib downstairs is great, as is the very thorough breakfast they leave at your door in the morning. It can be a bit loud in the stairwell as people come and go and staff deliver the breakfast, so light sleepers should come with earplugs, but the noise is not at all a constant thing. The bed is very comfortable. All in all, a place with a lot of character and charm!

Amazing Food, I highly recommend both the food and drink menu. It was indeed all about the fine details. Incredible service, unique and delightful decor that elevates the whole space. Unmatched to any other air bnb or hotel I have ever stayed at. The tub, shower, curtains, tiles, marble, gold fixtures AND might I mention 2 chandeliers in the Caroline room…I’m just flabbergasted! *Chefs Kiss*

Difficult check in after 9

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiling and welcoming faces ! The staff was quick to help us settle to our room and even helped bring the suitcases to the room ! We stayed in General Scott room which was both gorgeous and comfy ! And the added bonus of the balcony was definitely a plus ! We enjoyed very many incredible brunches here as well as indulged in dinner one evening ! Both food and drinks here were incredible ! Special shout out to Brady and Tommy for being such great people to chat with daily you definitely made our stay very enjoyable ! But truly all the staff here are so accommodating , great at remembering lots about us and inquiring about our days ! It felt like family by the end of the week ! We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to all who come to Charlottetown as it is walking distance as well to so much !

Very tastefully decorated room and bathroom. Breakfast can be served in the room until 10am, but it is worth waiting until 10am for brunch downstairs or on the patio, if you have the time. The parking lot is located right next to the entrance of the guest house. The food is fantastic, creatively designed and tastes great. In fact, the history of "Slaymaker & Nichols" is interesting and should be read in advance by the guests. In fact, "Slaymakers & Nichols" is a first-class restaurant, which also offers three rooms for guests.

Nothing in fact, maybe one small thing: the bed was a bit too soft.

The breakfast was amazing- such a great way of serving breakfast. And they happily accommodated for dietary requirements. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant downstairs and it was excellent - wonderful fresh PEI seafood.

The bath/shower looked amazing but was not very practical. But that was ok for a couple of nights.

Everyone always smiled; was always friendly, the downstairs bar/restaurant was superb. In 3 nights, we ate dinner there twice in a town full of seafood restaurants; and it was always busy. The breakfast is included with your room; order off the brunch menu as you like. A French press coffee was delivered to our room each morning. The owner was on site daily, chatted daily. He and his wife also own the Blue Mussel seafood restaurant in Rustico, which is hard to get reservations, but he called them and had them put us on the list. The hotel location is one small block from the main touristy area, quiet but close.

Beautiful room, staff was very friendly, bed was very comfortable. There is a lovely deck off the room, unfortunately we could not use it due to the weather but it is a lovely feature.

It is advertised as a bed and breakfast, however breakfast in the dining room is not available until 10. It is a pretty late start to the day and if you stay there for business or need an earlier start don't stay here. We had breakfast one day and it was great. The other option is a charcuterie board, delivered to your room with coffee. It had selection of meat, cheese, yogurt,minimal fruit lots of pickles- a very unappealing high fat meal. Muffins, fruit, yogurt, bread, jam all go better with coffee. You made your coffee with a press 2nd cup was cold.

Beautiful room and location. Staff was friendly. The charcuterie breakfast was beautiful and tasted great. Loved the record player in the room and nice little selection of records to enjoy. Would stay there again.

We stayed in the suite with a bathtub. Would have loved some bubble bath for it, all we could find was body wash and the gentlemen working in the evening didn’t know of anything else to use.
