What a wonderful hotel. It had a lot of charm and personality, it was very personable and I felt the staff knew us by the end, they were friendly and welcoming and nice to see the same people in the restaurant daily. Location was stellar, you could and we did walk to everything! Colosseum yup no problem, Pantheon only 5min walk, Trevi -8mins or so, everything was so accessible. Was only 20 mins from the train station and the hotel arranged very comfortable transport to and from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing... was exactly what we were looking for.

Location of the hotel is fantastic, walkable to most of the tourist attractions but in a nice quiet back street surrounded by great bars and restaurants. Hotel staff super friendly and helpful Cleanliness of the room was first class

Room booked was with a balcony which it did have but, so small it was very hard for two people to use at the same time. Room was a good size and plenty of space for extra storage which was lacking, a few drawers for clothes would be a nice addition. Breakfast options could be better but what we had was great Whilst rooms are well sound proofed the entrance door to the room had a large gap at the bottom so when people returning to their rooms along the corridor it was quite noisy. Simple fix to the bottom of the door would suffice. The above are by no means detractors to a great hotel but honest feedback from our own experience and could improve our experience in the future.

It’s very modernly furnished, with beautiful decor and also a sofa in the room! The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very well as it was very quiet. Showering facilities were great too. All staff is very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to accommodate and make you feel welcome.

Room can be cleaner. The area where there’s the telephone was very dusty so it did look like it wasn’t cleaned for a while. The fact there’s no lift might be an issue for some. This should be clear on the sites where advertised.

Boutique hotel with all the uniqueness one should experience in Rome. A stunning hotel set over two buildings with street views and inner courtyard views. Rooms are all very unique due to being in a traditional building. Situated in the heart of Rome and very easy walking distance to all the sights - the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon all very much “on your doorstep”. Breakfast is served in the small bistro downstairs and the staff are incredibly helpful and flexible. Coffee is of course excellent. We did eat at the Bistro one night as we had been on our feet all day and we were very lucky to get a table. Reservations highly recommended. Italian with a modern twist - very special. Cocktails are also excellent. We were in Rome for a rather warm November, the ACs had been switched to Heating which really wasn’t needed. The staff provided us with standing fans to accompany the open windows (we had a courtyard view) which worked a treat. Overall absolutely loved our stay here. Would absolutely return!

Shower did run hot and then cold. Struggled to maintain hot water. We did raise this with maintenance but it was not resolved before we left. Hotel couldn’t do enough to help us and were very apologetic. My parents were in a room nearer the main door and didn’t have the same issues.

I stayed at Tree Charme on both legs of my trip in Rome. After my 1st stay, I was so grateful that I am returning to Tree Charme again. The hotel's location was perfect. It was near the main attractions like Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, Campo De' Flori market, central shopping district. There was a popular gelato, Giolitti, just around the corner. Bakery and Salami shops were also nearby. There is a great little shop selling quality Italian leather products just across the street. The hotel was clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the range of a softer and harder pillow provided. The water pressure in the shower was great. The additional toiletry shelf in the shower was very helpful. The surroundings felt safe and friendly. The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout both my stays. The price is pricier than many hotels around the area, but it was well worth it. Pictures shown are extremely close to what is reality.

The shower for the 1st room was small. However, it seems to be quite the norm in hotels in Italy. Everything else made up for the tight space when in the shower. The shower floor can get slippery at times, so be a little more careful.

It’s a charming small hotel with beautiful furniture and a fantastic location in Rome. The staff were very kind and even upgraded my room, which I really appreciated. The restaurant downstairs is excellent, and the cleaning was done well with all the essentials provided. I was a little surprised that my birthday was ignored, a little sweet note would be nice, but since they upgraded my room earlier, it’s alright :)

The main entrance and shared apartment door were always left open, making the building easily accessible from the street. I could hear people walking nearby and even drunk voices outside at night, which made me feel uneasy. Maybe that’s typical for boutique hotels, but I personally didn’t feel secure.

Perfect location in the city centre. Extremely close proximity to everything. Staff is truly more than amazing, super heplful and nice. Managed to help us in so many ways. They gave us each a free drink coupon at the hotel‘s bar. Rooms are super squeaky clean. And they become like that after every daily room service; bedsheets, bathroom, all nice smelling toiletries provided. They provided a crib for our 2-year old which also served as some entertainment for her in the room.

Not a down side but just a heads up that access to first floor, where we were, was without an elevator.

The hotel is ideally located in a central area, close to major landmarks and excellent restaurants, making it perfect for exploring the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and we were delighted to receive an upgrade to a larger, beautifully spacious room. The breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of options, beautifully presented, and all very delicious.

The restaurant area is relatively small, so during peak breakfast hours, finding a seat to enjoy a relaxed start to the day can be challenging. Additionally, the room could benefit from better soundproofing, as street noise—such as early-morning trash collection—was audible, along with sounds from other guests entering their rooms. Another consideration is accessibility: the hotel may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues, as there are a few steps to navigate before reaching the elevator. Addressing these areas would greatly improve the overall experience.

This hotel was a nice surprise. The room had a sitting area with a couch and table and was well appointed with everything an overseas traveller needs - lots of space to store your suitcases for easy access and packing. The bed and shower was great and they provided shampoo and conditioner which is often neglected in European hotels. There was a one flight staircase but then an opportunty for an elevator. "Obi" was a wonderfully pleasant and helpful porter and handled our heavy suitcases with athletic ease! The staff were very helpful and diligent. The breakfast was great - not just pastries and coffee but eggs and bacon. I will strongly recommend this to any fellow travelers to Rome as it was really accessible to the Pantheon area, shopping and good restaurants. Truly and excellent choice!

I can be a harsh critic, but we were so pleasantly surprised by what this hotel offered I have nothing but good to say about it.

Staff polite and a good location in the city even with the road with cars speeding as you eat breakfast. Will say that the breakfast was good and we paid extra for that.

Room 5 has a small balcony and a view of a brick wall. Was offered a Suite for an additional €30 a night which was a surprise upsale by the hotel. This hotel didnt offer any other incentive such as a free breakfast for the additional cost and seemed difficult in selling the extra. We didn't upgrade. At 4am three ladies returned to their room banging on the doors and shouting. We told the hotel and they said sorry but nothing else which wasn't nice for us.
