A Perfect Stay – Exceeded All Expectations! Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by incredibly friendly and professional staff who made us feel truly welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. The food and drink selection was absolutely sensational — every meal felt like a special occasion, with rich flavors and thoughtful presentation that went above and beyond what you'd expect, even in such a renowned destination. And the view... simply breathtaking. Overlooking Lake Como, it was everything we dreamed of and more. Pictures don’t do it justice — waking up to that scenery each morning was an experience in itself. Every detail of our stay reflected quality and care. If we find ourselves in the Lake Como area again, there's no question — we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended without hesitation!

We loved the location on top of the hill with a Birds Eye view of the lake. It’s only accessible with a car though, so wouldn’t recommend if you want to stay in one of the major towns of como. But we found it to be very convenient and were easily able to get to Menaggio from where we to ferries to Bellagio and verena. It’s also close to the Swiss border so we travel across to Fox Town outlet stores for a quick browse. The restaurant is lovely and they have a good breakfast selection compared to most other places we’ve been to in Italy. The room is comfortable by does not have AC (however we did not miss it as it was quite cool during our stay).

Great breakfast with a good choice. Our room was called The Suite and was the only room that had a balcony. Given the amazing view we thought it was worth the extra cost. The room itself was very spacious with lots of storage space. The restaurant has food which is simply delicious.

I would have preferred a better quality fruit juice at breakfast time. It is also a very steep climb up to the hotel but there is a footpath from behind the church which saves having to walk on the road.

Spacious room, very clean, comfortable bed, excellent food in the restaurant, friendly staff, lovely view over the lake. You’ll need the car to arrive there. Easy access to visit Como lake.

Very good welcome, breakfast, quality of bedding and everything is very clean. Very good restaurant. Nice view to the lake and the mountains, hills.

No lift to the 1st and 2d floors but it's an old building. No Coffee corner in the room with water boiler and cups. One interrogation: I didn't see an air conditioning system in the room. During summer time it could be a problem. BUT there is a system on the ground in the room; I didn't test it: heather or air conditioning?????

We had a room with a balcony and a lovely view of the mountains. The hotel does have lake views but quite distant. Our room was beautifully clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site is fabulous. The best meal of our trip to Italy. I think you need a hire car - would be difficult to access otherwise. Plenty of parking on site.

Excellent friendly staff, the delicious restaurant (try the dishes with fresh porcini), the wine cellar (about 5,000 bottles at the moment!!), the location (easy for the ferry, 5 minutes drive, free parking at the Campo Sportivo in Argegno, as long as you don't mind the very steep walk back), the view, large rooms. We would definitely go back.

Bed a bit hard, but that is very subjective. The rooms are large, but lack a little bit of personality, but all the good things about the hotel make up for it.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and our bags were carried to our room (no lift). The views from the hotel were stunning! Travellers be wary of the 2KM of very narrow, windy mountain road to access the hotel.

Not a criticism, but worthy of note: It’s a long mountainous drive down to the nearest town for restaurants and bars if you don’t want to use the hotel restaurant.

The location is very calm & serene. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff was very welcoming and kind. Close to Argegno ferry boat location to go to Bellagio.

The restaurant ventilator was heard in the room but was shut off by 9:30 pm. No lift so we carried our luggage to the rooms.

This place is a gem! I loved how clean and tidy it was, and the food. Oh my God,the food! I've put on one extra kg in 3 days and regret nothing:)) Definitely a place I'd love to come back to.

Maybe as a suggestion, some other things for kids besides the 2 swings would be nice.
