I cannot recommend Hideaway enough. The staff went over and above to assist me with a late night booking for my son and I. Unfortunately, we had an unexpected 5 hour trip after receiving the sad news of a death in our family. We had an accepted booking with another property yet on our late night arrival we spent 30 mins trying to reach the managers. We couldnt get access or make contact. We found Hideaway and the staff member was exceptional. She made all the arrangements immediately and made sure we were looked after and quickly in our room. I cannot speak more highly of this accommodation. The room was comfy, great position and not noisy but close to everything. We will be back.

We were blown away with all the little extras provided. Things that you don’t always get from a three star motel. The room had an ironing board, iron, dustpan and brush, coathangers, tissues, dinner plates, cereal bowls, cutlery, glasses, microwave, kettle, toaster,and plenty of tea, sugar and coffee. Shortbread biscuits were also provided which were very much appreciated. The bath towels were lovely and soft. There was also a hand towel, washer and bath mat. Everything was very clean even down to the toilet brush holder, which is my benchmark for attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness. The bed was very comfortable and there was even a lounge chair in the spacious room.

Nothing.

The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, had a kettle, microwave toaster, cutlery and crockery to eat a meal (which many motels on our trip have not). The room was large and the bed really comfortable. The motel is set back from the road and we couldn't hear any traffic noise. We would definitely stay at the Hideaway Motor Inn again.

We have no mobility problems, but if you do, I would just mention it to staff when making your booking as our room was set up a flight of stairs from the car park.

Exceptionally clean and well cared for room and property. Plenty of parking on site, even for my large van. A great sized room with fridge, microwave, crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc. A good sized tv and it's reasonably well positioned within the room. The shower has a curtain not glass doors, but it's white so you can see that it's clean. Comfortable bed. Very helpful and friendly management. Exceptional value for money! Despite the electrical fault with the a/c on the night that I stayed, I would definitely stay here again. Fantastic value for money.

There was an electrical fault with the a/c in the block that my room was in. The manager did her best to give me another room, however the only vacant rooms were in the same block, so, no heating. But she did come out at night to try and help try to find another room. Something that you don't get everywhere, let alone expect for this price! In the end it wasn't too cold, and the bed had electric blankets if I had needed it.

The room was clean and a good size for 3 adults, the beds were comfortable and there was parking right outside the room. Location is just off the New England Hwy on the northern side of town, very convenient for people travelling who are looking for a good value, comfortable bed for the night.

Only negative is that the Motor Inn is located on the northern edge of town so there are no cafes or restaurants within walking distance.

Everything was very good. We had a quiet, comfortable sleep. The only concern was a bedside lamp which had a faulty switch. It could have been dangerous. Left hand side as you look at the bed. Motel offices are not open early in the mornings to report such things. Also there was a red rounded box on the ceiling which seemed to serve no purpose. Not a fire alarm, not a smoke detector, not a WiFi box. Just strange.

Room was clean and tidy, electric blankets for the very cold weather, hair dryer for use in bathroom, spacious room, short drive to the University and into town if needed

The bed was a little too hard for my liking, the fridge wasn't working properly ice compartment all frozen over and you had to really push on the fridge door to ensure that it was sealed. I couldn't get the air conditioner to heat the room, but that could be an operator error.

Stayed here for 1 night on our way back to Sydney from Coffs Harbour. Rooms are good size, with all facilities. Toilet is clean (with exhaust fans). Good Wi-Fi (tested and it was 50/18 mbps) but the TV is not smart- so you cant watch YouTube etc. 3-4 minute drive to shopping centre for food/drink. And, they have strict No-smoking policy in the room which is good for no-smokers like me (separate area available for smoking that guests can use)

I arrived late on New Year's Eve and was made to feel welcome and valued. The room was clean and well-appointed with everything I might need. I was able to park right outside my door and the room was on the ground floor. The bed was comfy and warm, the shower hot and I was able to order Ubereats and have a good night's sleep. In the morning, it was a short, pretty drive to Armidale city centre.

For the price, the room is great value and although the decor is tired, the facilities are clean and modern (new TV, fridge, microwave etc). I'm struggling to find negatives. There is even a menu for a local Chinese restaurant.

In the mountains this motel feels a bit like a chalet with vaulted ceilings and lots of floor space. Lovely quiet residential neighbourhood too. I had car trouble during my stay and had to coordinate getting to the mechanic. Front desk were lovely in trying to accommodate me as much as possible, given that my room was rented out that afternoon. It really meant a lot to me that they were interested in helping me meet my needs.

The fixtures in the shower were a bit past their prime but everything worked.
