We just spent 5 nights at the Hotel El Toro and can not rate them more highly. But what makes this hotel extra special is the staff. For the moment we made the booking, the communication and availability were above and beyond. We arrived right at the beginning of Ramadan and were made to feel so welcome. Seeing to everything we needed from the taxi at the airport to the moment we left. The hotel is impeccably clean, and our room was cleaned every day. The staff were always on hand and available and smiling. With a special thanks to Mohammad for his happy demeanour and care and attention. Luckily for us as it was Ramadan we went half board. Which saved us as it was difficult to find places to eat in the daytime. The food was always plentiful and fresh, and we certainly never felt hungry. Drinks and mint tea were also included and we also had a kettle and fridge in the room. There is also a supermarket very close by if needed We highly recommend this hotel as it was easy to travel around from and gave us the ability to see a more varied view of Tangier

Nothing not to like but just be aware that the hotel is a good 30mins walk outside of town. But is easily accessible by taxi

The location is good, the breakfast is perfect with so many options to choose from, the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make sure we are satisfied and that we have everything we need. The rooms are spacious, modern, and the beds are very comfortable! A special thanks to Mohamed who woke up at 5am to make a breakfast for us as we were leaving for the airport. The people are so kind and welcoming, we felt like at home at this hotel. I recommend it to everyone visiting Tangier 😊

Hi all My family and i enjoyed every minute we spent in this hotel,from the minute we stepped in there was nothing but 5 star treatment,the food was great not a big buffet but belive me top quality food ,the guy in charge at the buffet (Mohamed) was class act,helpfull,cheerfull and always asking how can he help,top top guy,if i owned a big hotel i would definetly steal him,i ve been to 5 and 4 stars hotel in my time and most of the staff either have fake smile or only smile so you can tip them this guy was genuine and we felt it. i think the hotel should hold on tight to this guy. on this occasion we like to thank all the staff from reception,chambermaids,kitchen,workers but above them all is MOHAMED a big thank you to him.

I have so many nice things to say about this place, but I'll summarize it. First of all, I was upgraded to a superior room which really made me happy 😁 Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and helpful. I can't fail to mention how responsive they are on WhatsApp. I went out for excursions and got lost. I needed help with directions, and when I texted them, they immediately helped. Thanks to Mohamed for the excellent service. The rooms are so clean. It's one of the cleanest hotels I've been to. The room is spacious and airy, the beddings so clean, and everything you need is available in the room. Another highlight was the breakfast. So much variety available. The juices were freshly squeezed, and so good. I wish I had more days there, but I will definitely go back when I am in Tangier again. Highly recommended.

The hotel is great. Staff was absolutely amazing and very helpful, they printed the boarding pass for us as you need them in paper at the airport without additional charges. It was spotless and everything new as it only opened in August. Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety, Mohamed at the breakfast was very attentive and friendly making sure we had everything we needed. When we came back at night the security was always very attentive making sure we were well and scorting us inside the hotel which felt really safe.

It's a bit far from the Medina but taxis are just in front of the hotel and was very cheap to get to everywhere. The cleaner left our window open and we noticed when we came back at night, there was nothing missing but that was a bit of a concern especially after how amazing everything was and how great staff are here.

Detail oriented. Many details can surprise you pleasantly. The guy who rans this hotel must be a high end psychologist, to fulfill many if not all your needs that a layman consumer can have. Devices are carefully selected ranging from lights, window shied, led, music to fridge to name a few. You have to explore it yourself. Service is first class, Mohammed for example, took care of my needs in the canteen. I wish the guy who runs this hotel can run the ministry of tourism in Morocco. In the long run it pays off. Good job.

I recently booked & arranged for 4 guests to stay at this hotel. We were all thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the professionalism of the staff. The reception/ reservations team was attentive to the needs of my guests and went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests. For example, despite the standard breakfast time being 08:00, they graciously prepared an early breakfast for 4 of the guests so they could make it to their exam on time. This is a newly built hotel, located not too far away from the train station and la corniche. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and dedication to customer satisfaction.
