host was friendly, helpful, very responsive, accommodating and very welcoming. breakfast each day was fresh and tasty. lovely private room with en suite and access to a shared dining and lounge area which was very comfortable. description of access to bus and train services was accurate and both are convenient. description of access to eateries was accurate with a terrific range of places to suit all tastes and budgets. there was secure off road parking available. the property was beautiful and the host just wonderful

Victoria Park Station (transport) & Albany Highway (cafes & restaurants) are within a short walking distance of this very high standard B&B. Maurice is a great host who enjoys a good laugh with his guests. He is not bad at providing spot on recommendations for the surrounding area of Perth too.

Maurice, the host, goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable, enjoyable and homely as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and I would encourage anyone thinking of going to visit Perth to book here. I have stayed twice and the quality of the service is outstanding. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. All necessary amenities provided. The breakfast is fresh and has plenty of options. Access to the B&B is secure and easy. My time in Perth was much better as a result of staying here, and a personal thanks to Maurice for his kindness and friendship - a true gentleman.

The host was very helpful and looked after our needs. Helped with our bags and contacted us when we left something behind and arranged for pick up. The item left behind was placed in a fridge bag which was more than what was expected and very kind of our host. Highly recommend this accomodation!

Breakfast options could have been better for those with food intolerance's. However, if we mentioned this before we arrived, I'm sure the host would have accomodated us.

Best place to stay near Perth CBD. A much better alternative to a box room in a faceless hotel. A beautiful house of very high quality materials, immaculately maintained – you won't find better. Plus it's cheaper than a modern high-rise hotel, and you have free parking 10 minutes from CBD. WHY would you say anywhere else?

The property was immaculate and extraordinary. Maurice was an exceptional host. We loved our overnight stay here. Although it is a shared house, Maurice is in a private wing at the back and there weren’t any other guests in the other two rooms.

We had a very peaceful stay. The room was very quiet, and Maurice was very accommodating. Access to the Lodge was very easy and parking/security was straight forward. Breakfast was good.

Unfortunately, my partner occasionally suffers hay fever brought on by pets (cats and dogs). Millie (resident pet dog) was very cute but I'm sure my partner would not have wanted to stay at the Lodge if she had known about Millie.

Good location close to airport and bus connections (train connection not operating at present). Nice sized room and huge bathroom and small , private sitting out area. Adequate secure parking on site. Large, comfortable communal sitting and breakfast area. Host pleasant. Breakfast good.

Premise is well maintained as if just renovated. Very clean room and bathroom. Free secured car park. Thank you to host Maurice for taking the trouble to chat with us every morning. Appreciate your hospitality. Highly recommend while you are in Perth.
