It's a fairly new Hotel. Modern Design is comforting, attractive: sliding doors for bathroom, dark wood cabinet for coffee bar/closet, smooth floors- carpeting in hallway not in room; In-room safe and refrigerator. Bed was cozy (king-sized), plenty of towels, lots of light - many wall sockets and light switches. Shower layout was perfect Also, something a little different-- guests check-in on the third floor (not the first floor).

I couldn't think of much I didn't like about this Hotel.

Very cool building, decor and overall vibe. It's in the old WWJ news radio building, and is well appointed inside. They have some pictures from when the radio station operated back in the day in a cool display near the lobby. Lobby has a sort of radio theme and is a cool place to hang out. The place smelled great. Staff was super friendly from the moment you walk in the door. Literally all staff we interacted with were just so nice. The basement has a cool bar and recreation area with golf simulators, duckpin bowling and some table games such as ping pong. A very cool hidden space with kind of an arcade vibe. This would be a good place to go if you have kids, it's big with a bunch of stuff to do. There's also an enclosed courtyard with patio chairs and giant Jenga sets. It's up to road from the people mover, so if you're looking to go into downtown hit up the Fort/Cass station. There is a bike rental stand right there and there are often e-scooters from the various apps outside. We walked to Corktown in about 20 minutes.

Confusing access to the rooftop bar. There's a door through the lobby bar to the rooftop, but that entrance was never open. I think it can be accessed from a separate 1st floor elevator but it didn't make sense that we couldn't get to it from the lobby (3rd floor). This is minor but it is kind of annoying to take an elevator to the lobby and then another elevator to the room. The lobby is cool so it could be worse, just adds time. Parking information could be more clear on the website. We are local and used a ride share to get here, since we weren't sure how much parking was going to run during the stay.

I was beyond impressed with the staff, the beauty of the property, and ease of access. It offered everything and more than I was expecting. The staff and their kindness truly made our stay perfect.

The room lacked a thorough clean. I noticed crumbs under the beds, dust on furniture and in bathroom vent, and dirty spots on the desk. Also the walls are thin and staying by the elevator led to many wake ups throughout the night when loud guests got on the floor.

My brother and I had a siblings night to hang out and catch up away from the rest of our families. We hit Baobab and Cliff Bells (2 of my favorite places) and walked the city and talked. The hotel was clean and beautiful. Staff was great. We arrived back just too late for glow bowling and shuffle board, which was a little disappointing because we were just about ready for some silly fun. We got a nightcap in the hotel bar and took then upstairs for more conversation. Great all the way around.

If I were traveling w my kids, I’d have wanted something a little closer in. The hotel is beautiful, but the block around it is a little bit up and coming. But you are only a couple of blocks from some of the shiny parts of Detroit. Not a real problem, just a wee bit gray/

The room was spotless with plenty of space for luggage. The King-size bed was very comfortable. There were Plenty of light switches and power outlets. Tv, refrigerator and safe are also in-room amenities. The Hotel is stylish with framed black and white photos of Detroit's past matching the black and white carpeting on third floor leading to the elevator. Guests check-in on the third floor - not the first floor. I also liked the huge discount in price I got by doing a little homework -- compare prices offered on different days of the week (the season matters as well).

The only thing I could complain about was the shower door - a sliding door- that did not stay closed.

Atmosphere and location was Great. A mile walk to Ford field but it was a safe and enjoyable walk with shops and restaurants to stop at along the way. Hotel was really nice with a great bar/ entertainment center in the basement. Hotel bar looked nice but we didn't try it because they said their dishwasher was down and they would only serve from plastic cups. Basement bar was great though! Beds were comfortable and rooms were nice.

Hotel bar only serving from plastic and no parking on facility. It was $45 to valet through the hotel but the lot across the street was close and only $15 every 13 hours or something like that.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The entire hotel was spotless.

didn't care for the valet service but that's more preference. If you need something from your vehicle while you're there even if it's the pack of gum you forgot, they have to go get your vehicle and bring it around so you can get it. Asked for our room to be cleaned while we were out but no one came. I had to go get more towels. There are no vending machines. if you want a soda you have to go to the bar. We just aren't this fancy I suppose. The lights in the room were so dim. if you want to apply makeup bring a lighted mirror. I couldn't see a thing.

Loved all of it! This place is a hidden gem. And the staff…amazing!!!! The golf/bowling place on the bottom floor will absolutely make me go back there again!

I was very surprised the TVs in the room weren’t smart TVs. With the hotel being so new, the TVs should definitely accommodate apps like Netflix, etc. Also, the two restaurants on the main floor. Very interesting choices to have in a hotel. The food at the taco place should be more mainstream or offer more variety travelers may be used to. I would have also loved to have free coffee in the lobby like most nice hotels do.

Clean rooms and many restaurants and facilities on site and near by, even though I didn’t have the opportunity to try it this time the basement golfing and leisure room will definitely be something that makes me book again!

Was told a $50 hold would be placed on my card and ended up being $100. Was unsure if it was because we were using Canadian cards but I had to try 3 different cards until the authorization amount was actually approved. The manager at the front made it seem like the reason it was declining was because we had no money and I kind of took offence as I already paid the $400 for the room beforehand. But that was the only unpleasant moment I had, everyone else was wonderful and even once it finally went through that situation was resolved!

The hotel is gorgeous and very modern. The amenities were all well taken care of and convenient. All of the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The 2 restaurants at the hotel, Cibo and Detroit Taco, were also really good and provided a range of food and drink offerings.

I didn't realize that the only parking at the hotel was valet parking and it was $45/ day. Our room was right next to the elevator so it was quite loud at night as it was a busy weekend. I wish there were late night options for food.
