The absolute best breakfast I have every had in Europe--and it comes with the price of the room. Absolutely wonderful. The facility is almost brand new. It's impeccably clean. It's well-situated in the Old Town of Bratislava. Lovely leafy, quiet side street location. It has walls/gates and an incredible court yard with play areas for kids. I believe the families are hosted in an area away from the other rooms? In any case, it's very quiet and lovely. This place is an ideal location to launch a quick or long walking tour of Bratislava. I fell in love with it! Kitchen free for use with a microwave, stove and fridge on the fourth floor. A table/shelf at the end of the hall with hair dryers and extra amenities for the shower (beyond the amenities in each room). Daily mass on site for those who want it (I did!) I am ABSOLUTELY going to return and do a longer spiritual retreat!

I don't think each room has its own A/C. Mine was too hot at night, even with the window open. Each room does have its own thermostat so perhaps I just didn't figure out how to work it properly. In any case, it was FINE not ideal but fine. The temp did drop at night and after a nice cool shower before bed, I was in tip top shape for a great sleep on the comfy bed.

Nice and quiet place in the middle of the city. Free parking next to the hotel. Beautiful garden, great for relaxing. Very tasty breakfast with the possibility to sit in the garden, we loved that.

The room was good, the bed comfortable, but there was just one thing that would make the stay much more pleasant. The windows have blinds but it didn't prevent the lights go in at sunrise. The blinds are just not enough, so I would recommend adding some curtains. It would make a big difference, especially during the summertime when the sunrise is around 5 am, and also it will make the rooms cosier.

It is very organised. Staff are very nice and helpful. Very nice breakfast for different tastes. Perfect location. Cozy and clean room. The room looked definitely better than the picture! I really liked my room. There’s a peaceful reading area which is amazing for a break. There’s a shared tidy kitchen to use. There’s lunch (quite cheap) if you happen to be around the area in the middle of the day.

Honestly no problem. Just as a note for those who might want to know: - No air conditioning inside the room, but there’s one in the corridor. I just opened the windows just before bed which cooled the room down. - No fridge inside the room but one in the shared kitchen that you could leave food with your name. - Also some light sleepers like me who want to sleep more in the morning, leave the provided note at the door because they will knock at your door to wake you up for prayers around 7:30.

Really well organised hotel, with a key fob that gives you access easily to all the different parts. The room is quite basic, but lots of common areas to enjoy (kitchen, garden, meditation room, … ) Super breakfast with lots of choice. Welcoming and accommodating staff with opportunities for late check out through a box, and to leave your suitcases on your check out day. Geographical at equal distance (10/15min) between the old town city center, the main bus station (with buses to Vienna airport) and with a bus that comes from the main train station.

The breakfast finishes really early at 9 - a tight bit early when on holidays.

Great breakfast in a an amazing location. As you walk into the "hotel" you can feel the peace and love. The location has perfectly curated gardens and some park benches - the world just stops when one sits there. The location had lifts but I enjoyed using the stairs as the stairs are wide and well decorated. Breakfast was really good. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Location was good - middle between the modern part and old town of the city. Taxis are super cheap to the airport.

I missed not having air-conditioning in my room. The common areas are air-conditioned (ie. outside my door the corridor is cooled) but not the room. The wifi could have been faster.. I had trouble with video calls, and even basic surfing was slow at times.

Bed was comfy, room very clean and cosy, walkable from the old town, very near the shopping mall eurovea. Quiet and peaceful too. Would stay again!

Just minor inconveniences : Hair and body soap not provided, but you can purchase them at the reception. Breakfast timing was also a bit short from 7.30am to 9am. Walls were also a bit thin so light sleepers should come prepared (e.g earplugs).

Breakfast was lovely each morning, and I loved my little room at the top of the former monastery. It was very cosy and perfect to return to after a long day, whether I was at my conference or sightseeing. Staff was very friendly and helpful and even packed me a breakfast for my departure when I had to leave at 4:30 AM! The regular breakfast spread itself was also excellent, probably my favourite style hotel breakfast I can remember having. I also loved the optional communal areas outside and inside to read, relax, or meditate if necessary, as well as the shared kitchen with microwave, toaster, and fridge. Very helpful for travelers who don't want to eat out every meal or wish to keep leftovers.

A very nice simple and clean room in the heart of the city and even if you are not particularly religious, it has a sense of calm and opportunity for reflection in the library, chapel or other space. The use of a communal kitchen was handy for an evening drink. Arranging parking before hand was worth it and the breakfast was a good start to the day.

My third floor room had no view with two velux windows overlooking the adjoining pitched roof

Very helpful receptionist. Clean facilties Peaceful, relaxing environment. Fairly wide choice of breakfast options.

Minor point in the grand scheme of things but whenever I went to use the ironing board, the cleaners had used it as a shelf! It would have been nice if more (/some) of the books in the library were in English (although I accept the library isn't primarily for guests' benefit)

Nice location, within walking distance from the river and the old town. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was nice and varied. There was also a kitchen for guests on the top floor. The reception staff was very nice and they all spoke good english, which is not always the case in this part of the world.

Please bear in mind that this is a convent, there are nuns living in the building and so you have to observe quiet hours between 10pm and 7am, which is good if you want some peace and silence, otherwise, if you go there to party, avoid. Also the rooms feel more like nun cells than hotel rooms, there was no fridge or tv in my room, the location of the plugs was a bit inconvenient if you wanted to charge the phone or the laptop close to the bed.
