room and bathroom is spacious - modern-relaxing interior design the new lobby/bar design looks great and is much better and friendlier than before. you could actually just sit there and read a book kind of vibe. easy and close (walking internally) to arrival and departure perfect for a night

that you can't get the cart up the escalator and there seems to be no lift (that's if you travel with a lot of luggage)

Location is great if you are flying early in the morning. The rooms are well insulated from the noise, and well sized. It's lovely that they have a ready quick coffee/tea bar for those leaving before dawn.

They have the most uncomfortable pillows I ever had in a hotel. It was like sleeping on a limp bag of sand.

This will be a standard to follow when flying. Initially booked a hotel in Zurich city. But didn't want issues for our morning flight, so booked here. We eventually found out that there was no need to go outside of the airport to access the hotel. We found the right path. Check in was good. We are a family of 4 and booked 2 rooms. King and a twin. There was a bit of an issue with our children not getting a twin room, but that was quickly fixed. Some great lollies at the check in counter and another counter with water, sparkling water and some biscuits and fruit. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Very easy to get around and was easy to go to the airport the night before take off to confirm where would be checking in for our flight. Staff were polite and friendly. We had a great dinner at the restaurant. Great food and great staff. Will stay again.

Hotel is very practical, just at the airport, close to the check in. We had an early flight and it worked good. It is very nice and modern. Room was big, nicely furnished and comfortable. I liked that they provided coffee and croissants in the morning.

When we reserved the room we asked for a baby cot for our toddler and it was not there when we arrived. We asked again but were told that they do not have any. Also claimed that we did not provided age of the child which was not true- I checked and I did it twice- once when I made reservation and second time in my message when I specifically asked for it. We ended up sleeping together in one bed always stressed that she wakes up and fell down. So it was not really great night and at the end we could have just spare ourselves additional costs and travel from home to the airport. Also prior to the arrival we asked for advice regarding long term parking possibilities and we never got the answer.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the airport terminal just past the arrivals area. Turn left when you walk out of the terminal and then cross the street. The lobby has been newly refurbished compared to 2024 when it was under renovation. My room was quiet even though it faced the terminal. It was comfortable and I had a good rest.

It can get quite busy at times at check-in when flights arrive at the same time so I took the chance to have a drink at the bar to wait for the line to get shorter. Note that the hotel is always busy with travelers coming in and out. It is also priced higher than the other Zurich Airport hotels that are not as close to the terminal. Breakfast was also busy.

Great location within easy walking distance of airport terminal. I chose it for that reason as I was traveling with my young grandson and didn't want complicated travel into the city on arrival. I had two separate bookings, and the reception staff managed to let me keep one room for both nights. We had a premium room, king bed with an airside view so my grandson could watch the planes. Bedroom had good amenities with plenty of USB charging points which is a game changer these days - no messing around with adapters! Super comfy bed, great shower. Breakfast was really good, great choice, fresh ingredients, made to order omelettes. So easy to get into the city by train, bus or tram. Can leave luggage until departure which is really handy, then just a quick walk back to the airport terminal. Great stay!

Maybe have some city maps/tram maps for guests to use

This Radisson Blu Airport Hotel at the Zürich Flughafen was perfect for what we needed: an overnight stay to make an early morning flight. Reception were welcoming, and although we arrived about an hour earlier than the usual check-in, reception were able to assign a room straight away. Our early flight meant we could not take the traditional breakfast, but coffee, tea, and some snacks were available. The location was perfect, a 2-3 minute walk to airport check-in. The room was an impeccable, clean, and calm sanctuary ahead of a busy travel day.

There were some renovations in the lobby that made noise; however, any work was halted at a very reasonable hour.

The property has been renovated and is quite nice. Very comfortable beds, and quiet rooms (triple pane glass). Really nice, friendly, and knowledgeable Front Desk. Can‘t ask for nicer people! And, of course, great location in the airport adjacent to SWISS Check-in.

The Atrium Bar and Lounge was woefully understaffed and essentially ignored me. Initially I received one drink I ordered and then server disappeared. I tried to order another drink and order food (food is quite good here, I should add) but no one would serve me. One person to serve entire area, and one bartender. I gave up, went to bartender to pay, and left. It wasn’t even a busy time!! It was before the hordes of 5-7pm arrivals hit.

I stayed in this room for a one-night layover, and overall, it was a convenient option. The room was very clean and located inside the airport terminal, making it perfect for a quick rest before a morning flight or for a short overnight stop. The downside is that the price is quite high for what you get, as it’s essentially just a place to rest. Even the menu is expensive – €37 for a sandwich, which feels steep for a simple meal. However, considering the convenience of the location for a layover, it’s manageable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was well soundproofed. Despite being so close to the airport, I didn’t hear any noise, which made for a peaceful night. All in all, it's a good option for an overnight stop, but definitely on the pricier side for what you’re getting.

The expensive menu

We were looking for a Zurich Airport hotel for our return trip to the US. The Radisson Blu was one of three hotels actually at the airport, so we could walk to our flight's gate. No trains or shuttles. Hotel looks to be fairly new with great rooms.

Getting to the hotel from the airport train station was interesting, with the signs taking us in and out of various parts of the airport. As it turns out, there is a much easier way to get around without going out of any of the buildings. Quick access to the check in desks at the airport on the morning of our flight.
