The receptionist welcomed me warmly, even at 22:00 when I checked in. The Campanile Restaurant/Grill kitchen is spotless. My partner and I dined at the downstairs restaurant on our last night (Sunday), and the chef prepared delicious specials for the cold evening. My commendations. He brought the food out in person. We felt like celebrities at a Michelin guide restaurant. The staff work hard to maintain the hotel. The room is cosy, clean and well-looked after. My partner and I had a fantastic break to see some friends near Rotterdam Alexander.

The walls weren't properly insulated against the neighbour's sounds.

While we didn't have breakfast there, we did have dinner in the restaurant our second night. It was amazing. The chef offered to prepare a salmon dinner, not on the menu, with a salad and fresh made fries that was unbelievable. All the staff were very helpful and we were even able to have our laundry wash, dried and folded while we were out for the day at a very reasonable cost. Chantal, at the.front desk made it her personal mission to find us transportation to Amsterdam for the start of our cruise. We will definitely be returning if we are in Rotterdam again.

The room was basic and a little on the small size, which was fine. The bathroom was very large however, and everything was very clean. The only thing missing was air conditioning. The room did have a desk fan which we didn't need.

Comfortable bed, exit from the room directly to the balcony, large selection of products for breakfast. Easy access to the center of Rotterdam, 10 min from the shopping center

No normal glasses or spoons, too few cabinets and hooks on the wall, especially in the bathroom. The bathtub is badly lit, so a white shower curtain would be better than a gray one. And light, foldable chairs would be useful so you can easily sit on the balcony.

Reception was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean with everything we need. The neighbourhood it was located in was quiet and it felt safe. The train and metro station was within walking distance and right beside the station there is a large shopping mall including a grocery store.

The water in the shower was not draining properly and it took a while for all the water to drain away. It was also a little warm even with the radiator turned off so we kept our room door open. There also isn't a lift to access the rooms located upstairs.

Bed was comfortable. We did not eat there this time as we had numerous family events to attend to. The rooms did not have air conditioning, but there was a small fan in the room. We picked this hotel again because almost 80 years ago my husband was born on this corner of the world, so for him, he was coming home.

Incredibly friendly and kind staff who were always willing to help out and give any advice needed, fantastic place to have as a base for a holiday exploring Rotterdam.

Nothing was particularly bad about the hotel at all, there was a lot of mosquitoes in the room at night but thats obviously something thats out of the hotels control.

Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly. Secure parking - overall good value for money.

Room relatively basic. You have to put a shutter down on the window for privacy which is okay i guess but had a slight trouble putting it back up.

Room was warm and quiet. Good that there was a bath, although the plug did leak and water drained away slowly.

The food at the restaurant was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near train station.

I wish I would have know the room did not have air conditioning. It was hot and hard to sleep.

It's affordable and well equipped, I stay there every time I visit Rotterdam

It's far from the centre of Rotterdam. Transport is convenient though.
