The hotel really lives up to the name despite being a business hotel. Very clean, spacious, private. I wish I could stay longer but I have other journeys to go to. The complimentary breakfast was great, I loved it. Good quality food and helped me start the day well! The staffs were very helpful, I asked them to help me send my luggage to the next hotel and they helped me do so properly. I also asked one of them to help me with confirmation of the booking of my Minshuku in Kumano and he gladly did so effectively. This hotel makes me want to visit Wakayama again next time and stay in Comfort Hotel once more.

The bidet in the toilet didn't work.

I owe the staff a great deal for their help in sending over the stuff I left in the safe to Nagoya at the hotel I was staying at. Thank you very much. Also, they approved my request for an additional pillow since the pillow in the room had a low profile. Comfort Inn is another great business hotel. This one is located right next to Wakayama Station with well-laid out rooms and delicious buffet breakfast. Bed, pillows, and linen were comfortable and smelled clean. They segregate general trash and bottles. The table is quite wide and the chair is comfortable to use. Kintetsu department store is a neighbor so getting dinner at its depachika is a wonderful thing. Attractions can be reached via rail or bus from Wakayama Station.

Toilet and bath drain has residual smell which can be diffused by running the fan continuously.

What i like are: 1.location :very close to wakayama station,from the station you just turn right and turn right again you will see the hotel just beside mio mall 2.check in,check out very fast through the machine,so you don't need to talk with the reception 3.food.i was surprised the breakfast are various and also delicious 4.room is bit wider than other budget hotel in japan But if you have luggage more than 24 inch,you will difficult to move 5.facilities inside the room is complete.there is a water heater inside your room,so you can make hot water 6.there is drink you can take in the evening or whole day in the dining room

The pillow.very thin and uncomfortable

I like the common area (or hotel lobby), where we have a breakfast or take a rest. It has a small library with free drinks. The library seems to be professionally curated to collect books related to Wakayama. Mostly Japanese books, but some English ones too. It ranges from children's picture books, manga, to Wakayama-born authors' literature, history, nature, animals (like Panda bears). Even after check-out, we could spend a relaxing waiting time for the train in this area.

We love the location of this hotel just 5mins walking distance from the Wakayama station and Bus station. It is near a mall so it's easy for us to find an atm. The hotel provides breakfast, though it is the same menu most of the days We feel it's an added advantage to get us to kick start the day. We are not picky eaters. The bed is comfortable, though it is small but it is what we expected in Japan. No surprise. Staff are helpful when we want to drop our luggage before check in. Overall I will stay here again .

I loved the location - it was so near to JR Wakayama Station as indicated in what I have read prior to booking this hotel. It made catching the train to my next destination very easy and stress-free. The bus terminal is just outside the station and it was easy to get around. The breakfast provided by the hotel was generous and balanced. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the room size and the beddings are very comfortable!

I am very satisfied with this hotel.

Check-In was easy enough through a machine, and we had a room on the 11th floor which we could easily reach with the elevator. The room was nice, had an a/c, mini fridge and a private bathroom with all necessities. We booked three nights with breakfast and it was alright, the cafeteria was nice to sit in. Check-Out was even easier, you just had to slip your room card(s) into a machine. The location was also perfect for us, it's very close to the main train and bus station, only a 5 min walk. Would definitely recommend!

Great staff. The hotel itself is very close to the Wakayama station. Therefore, bus stations and local train lines are nearby. Free breakfasts are more than varied. In our case it was also smoothies. On the first floor there is a small library where you can drink coffee or juice for free during the day, even after you have checked out of the hotel.

The location of the air conditioner isn't very good. It's very easy to catch a cold because of it.

Generally, their library café looks beautiful where breakfast was served. The meal was great and there were healthy options. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, so the single room met my expectations.

Very comfortable stay, great value as delicious buffet breakfast included. Breakfast area becomes a spacious "library" space during day/evening. Room clean and comfy, with natural light. Quiet and convenient location close to station while still having a variety of local eateries within walking distance. Would stay again.
