I cannot find words to describe how amazing the guesthouse is. From the room, staff, communication and downstairs bar, everything was excellent. Very friendly staff and Tracey made our stay more enjoyable, customers were so nice. Drinks such cocktails, shots and foods were value for money. The rooms were so comfortable and the perfect size. The cleaning staff were funny and chatty and we, the group felt great having such wonderful people around us. Thank you to all staff, the manager and of course we will miss Tracey. We will be back to stay in the guesthouse as Ilford is an excellent location, accessible to London central where I visited but central people were not as friendly as Ilford people. Great decor, nice bars. Excellent Guinness. Very good breakfast, freshly cooked and hearty.

The only down side was the lack of proper Irish music, on the Friday night. The Pubs website said there was live music most nights. We did not expect DJs with awful modern music. The one outstanding thing was on Saturday night, when the evening started with a guy called Brendan Maxwell. He was brilliant. Just what we had wanted to hear, and had come for. Also, didn't like the bouncers on the door, on the Friday night. Not necessary, and spoiled the ambience!!

During our stay at the guest house, we were pleased with several aspects of our experience. First and foremost, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, which made us feel at ease right away. Although we didn’t get the chance to try the breakfast, the overall service seemed great. Our room was another highlight – it was spacious, well-maintained, and very clean, creating a comfortable environment to relax. Checking in was a breeze as well, with the process being quick and efficient. It was also a nice touch that our room was ready upon arrival, which made the start of our stay even smoother.

Honestly, there was nothing during our stay that we didn’t like. Everything was quite satisfactory, and we had a very pleasant experience overall.

We booked in with Natalie in June 2023. Along with my two sisters. We enjoyed our long Bankholiday weekend with Natalie. Absolutely nothing at all to complain about our time spent there. The location and area was perfect. Also close to public transport. The Property is nice and clean and quite. Natalie was so welcoming and friendly. And very helpful advising us on routes to take to get to where we needed to be. That's why we booked in again with her on the first of December 2024. And again enjoyed our time spent with Natalie. The staff is really friendly, also you will get a discount for the restaurant. The room had a kettle, you can have tea and cookies :) The bed is comfy and the place is easy to reach by public transportation

Well, the area is a little noise during the night, I didn't have any problem because I sleep like a log but I know people who will be annoyed by the outside sound. The hotel try to help by providing earplugs for sleeping.

Fantasy value for money- clean, comfortable and secure- important for us as we are women. We had good selection of towels, clean serviceable shower, kettle with biscuits, tea etc. We had dinner in the lounge bar next door and again it was really good value @ around £12 for mains. Lounge had a good vibe- not overly busy but definitely not dead! Thank you

Maybe only downside was the disco that in the public bar that finished around 2.00am so loud music-not a big deal as we were supplied with ear plugs and we are pretty good sleepers. On any other occasion we would have joined in but we were running the London Marathon the following day. It was a Saturday night!

Pleasantly surprised by how nice this was for such a low price. Lovely cosy room, nicely decorated and reasonably clean. The bar downstairs was very busy and quite loud on arrival, however I couldn’t hear it at all from my room which was just above.

There was a lot of noise from rooms along the corridor and upstairs but didn’t go on late. Some minor issues in the room like bins weren’t emptied from last guests but for the price paid it far exceeded my expectations.

There is plenty of parking across the road. Welcoming Guests house above a great pub, Beautiful large spacious clean rooms with ensuite and tea making facilities, bonus biscuits included. Convenient smoking area so there is no need to stand outside the front of the pub. The guest house staff go above and beyond the call of duty nothing too much. The large friendly pub with nearly every drink you can imagine, The food, breakfast, lunch and dinner is scrumptious and good value for your money. The staff are welcoming and friendly, as are the customers.,

Absolute gem in Ilford. Room had AC and was fully soundproofed - no noise from pub below (even with a live band). We stayed here to break up a long journey. Twin room was spacious, modern and super clean. Food in the restaurant was fantastic and just what we needed after a long journey. Staff were excellent and so welcoming even on a busy night. Place just exudes Irish warmth and hospitality. Excellent value for money.
