Check-in was quick and efficient. Breakfast, although (in my opinion) relatively expensive, was excellent. The bar's collection of malt whiskies was amazing, although I didn't actually buy any of them; it's something that would attract me again though! The communal areas, reception, dining room and bar looked far nicer in real-life than they do in the photos on this site. They're very nicely decorated. The bedroom was also nicely decorated and clean, as was the bathroom. The staff were all pleasant and helpful; the woman who checked us in and served us in the bar spoke very good English. The hotel is close to a tram line, although we didn't use the tram to get into the town centre.

The sofa bed apparently wasn't very comfortable.

Everybody was very friendly. Large parking spot in seasonable price per day. We liked their nice lounge, but it was only a bit disappointing that the lounge and restaurant were closed on the first night. Very close to the tram station to get to the Heidelburg city center.

The shampoo was empty so I washed my hair without shampoo...but when I told the staff they immediately filled in the bottle. That would be great if there was a mini fridge in the room, but it's not a big problem.

Friendly staff. I arrived on the hottest day of the year I think and the room had aircon. This made my sleep really good. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable. They have a bar with a good selection of whisky and gin I liked breakfast, when you arrive at the pre arranged time it is set out for you. Good quality ingredients and it was tasty. Great location off the main road, plenty of parking on the right side as you look at the hotel. Electric car charger is attached to building, ask reception to start it for you at 0.69c kWh. Restaurant attached it a wine bar with lovely light bites. Staff were very attentive and spoke English too. Room was a good size and clean. The price was very reasonable and we had needed to move our arrival a week, which was accommodated without hassle.

Only the distance from the town centre, but the tram was 2 min walk and then took 10/15mins which was no problem.

Everything! The hotel is very easy to find from the autobahn and there is plenty of parking on site. There is a tram stop very close to the hotel and the journey into town takes about 20 mins. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is one of the best around. All of the staff are very friendly and really make you feel at home.

The hotel was easy to find after a short tram trip from the main train station. We were received warmly by the English and German speaking owner who provided us with details of highlights to see in the city. The Castle is especially impressive and there is an abundance of little restaurants near the riverside. We were only there for one night but managed to get a lot in.

Breakfast. The best ever, no kidding. Cheeses, meats, salmon, marmalade, honey, chic spread. All nicely presented at the table for each guest. Plus juices, yoghurt. Great atmospheric bar/pub. With impressive whiskey selection. Had my first Bavarian bourbon there. Great local wines, too. Nice outside seating area. 1 min walk to tram stop for the City (15 mins if that much). Trams running every 10mins during the day. Alternative restaurants in walking distance.

Not much. Minor things such as shower was a bit of a squeeze, dinner menu limited to Flammkuchen (thin base 'French/Alsace pizza), though very tasty.

A comfortable older very clean hotel with lots of charm and amazing staff. We decided to just stay at the hotel to eat that evening as we had traveled all day and it was raining outside. We enjoyed the wine and flammekuchen in the cozy atmosphere as well as the staff who were so friendly and fun. The beds were comfortable. Parking on the premises. Great value!

The breakfast was exceptional—one of the best I have experienced at a hotel in Germany. Everything was fresh, and the eggs were cooked to order. It was a definite 10 out of 10 for us."

If I were to be fastidious I might mention that the beds were slightly firm, however this did not impact the quality of our sleep

V clean and comfortable! Beds were very comfortable. What is exceptional is the staff. The lady receptionist is very kind and helpful. She went out of her way to help us when I asked for toothbrush, disposal spoons, where to eat on Christmas Eve. She called each restaurant to check if they were open. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful!
