We enjoyed our stay at Staycity Heidelberg very much, the apartment was really nice, with a very comfortable bed, a handy kitchen with good facilities, very clean, offered a very nice breakfast and it also had secure parking at the back of the hotel. All the staff were very helpful and we would especially like to praise Sylvia, who was on reception when we checked in. She was so helpful to us when we rang the hotel initially to check where to park, organised our room perfectly and because we had very limited German, kindly spoke to us in English, recommending where to eat and beautiful places to visit in Heidelberg, the perfect receptionist.

Apartments provide a small kitchen with a fridge. Modern furniture, extra-long beds with hard matresses. Reception area has a small supermarket with snacks and necessities.

There is no place to stop and unload the luggage. I was very nervous when I arrived at the hotel, as there is literally nowhere to stop the car, the streets are very narrow, and the only option seems to be to drive into the hotel parking lot, which charges 15 EUR per day. I think this is not a reasonable price, as the hotel is not located in the city center. Please make the arrival experience for guests using the car less nervous.

Clean, quiet studio. Extremely comfortable bed with good pillows and plush covers. Fabulous enclosed shower with lots of hot water, good pressure and a free-flowing drain (shampoo and shower gel provided). Plenty of vanity space around the sink to set toiletries. Good lighting, lots of electrical outlets to charge devices. Very welcoming and helpful front desk staff. Excellent location a short walk from the Heidelberg Hbf. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property to other travelers.

A suggestion for management: Almost all hotels around the world have discontinued the outdated and extremely unsanitary practice of putting decorative pillows on the bed. Guests want clean sheets and no one is happy when you put dirty pillows on them (pillows that people set on the floor and you do not wash after every guest). It would be great if you would end this very unsanitary practice (which would also save you money!).

Staff was very friendly and responsive to any inquiries or requests. Rooms were quite spacious and beds comfortable. There is a bus stop close by, making the commute to/from the old town easy. Filtered water in the reception area throughout the day, which was thoughtful given the hot weather. We appreciated the small kitchenette and quiet location of both rooms we stayed in. Great value.

We stayed in two different rooms, one of which was clean while the other could have used a good scrub. There was garbage under the kitchen sink upon our arrival and a noticeable layer of dust around the bed in one of the rooms.

-Breakfast was very good, lots of options and served in a very big well lit room. -a Bus stop is directly in front of the Hotel and HBF a easy 10 min walk. -Room was well decorated, bed was comfortable, Shower and Toillete were in separated rooms which was cool. -Room had a mini kitchen with all necessary for a quick meal. Coffee pot and Tea were also available.

-Shower was sometimes cold sometimes normal hot. -Lights in the bathroom were out but quickly fixed as soon as we called maintenance. -Window could not be openned at first but same thing, we called maintenance and they quicly and friendly fixed it

I had a great experience at Staycity Aparthotels Heidelberg. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and I really appreciated it. The hotel was quiet, peaceful, and clean, and the food was delicious. The location was great, and we found it easy to access transportation to get around the city. We chose to walk to the old town, which was convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I learned that Staycity Aparthotels are located in many cities. When my parents visit, I will consider booking a room for them at a Staycity Aparthotels if there's one in my city. The only thing was that our room was so hot and the conditioner did not work. However, it was not a problem for us since our stay was not that long. I mentioned it at the checkout but did not intend to complain. I only wanted to inform them so they could fix it. I was told nicely that they would change my room immediately if I mentioned it. Generally, we had a great time at there.

Close "enough" to HD centre (3 tram-stops) with a frequent tram and only 2-3 min to/from hotel entrance. Excellent sound-prof windows (important to me), and even got a room to the back-side. Kitchenette was weel-equipped (even with dishwasher). Nice bar and large living area at the reception.

Bed where on the "hard" side and low pillows (great for back-sleepers only). Forgot to ask for better pillows (my bad). Room temp on the hot side (kept the windows open while I was not in the room - enviromentally bad; the aircondition did not get the room cold enough). And €15 / day for carpark, but they had private parking. But that's absolutely all that it is possible to pinpont on the negative side.

This hotel was great and modern! It is a short walk to the train station, which was my main decision for choosing this hotel. I appreciated the front desk staff for letting me check in early without an issue. The room was good sized and clean. Bed was comfortable and a large bathroom! Also has a coffee machine, refrigerator, and hot water pot in the room. I chose not to have the breakfast, but I did walk through one day and, OMG, it was the most elaborate buffet with everything you'd ever need. It was seriously impressive. There are some good bakeries a short walk away and I like getting out in the morning for a little walk so I went that route. I did some work in the lobby, and they have a full bar with a food menu if you'd like that. I walked to the old town to sightsee and it's about 40 minutes away, but I do like walking neighborhoods, so that was perfect.

Parking on-site. Room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly.

Overall, nothing significant. Having a small kitchenette in the room was a bonus, however, the built-in microwave/hood had a very bright clock. For light-sensitive sleepers, it might have been too bright, and it wasn't easy to find a way to block/cover the clock. Something like a Post-It note might work, but being up over the counter and built-in, it wasn't easy to cover or unplug. A trivial point overall; the rest of the room was perfectly comfortable, and I'd stay there again.

We enjoyed a beer at Check-in in the evening at the bar before going to our Room. The staff were most helpful in resolving everything from Parking to Breakfast, including Room allocation* Whilst the entrance to the Hotel is on a busy corner location with no drop-off or Check-in parking, if you enter the Hotel's adequate paid-parking there is at least 2 Hotel Access doors, one straight into Reception! Useful to know? Great place to stay.....even with the slight but significant issues noted below.

*I reserved a 'twin-room' with 2 single beds online. a) At Check-in we were allocated a 1st Floor room at the far end of the building which upon entry only had one double bed....Return to Reception. b) We were upgraded to a Suite & allocated a 3rd Floor room far from Reception, which upon entry only had one double bed....Return to Reception. c) I insisted that "as the Hotel had accepted the booking, it wasn't my problem to solve!" If they didn't have a suitable room, then I suggested we have 2 adjacent Double-rooms without further delay or cost. That was done & 3rd time lucky!! Minor problem in the Grand Order of Life! Lovely double-bed to myself.
