The room was very clean and agreable , and the location was near the train station so it was perfect for me but a bit far from the center (I needed to take public transport). It was quite easy to find . There were shutters so the sun didn't get through

I had to wait 15 min outside as nobody were here and I didn't have any instructions. They gave me my key in express and didn't tell me about the check out . It was quite far from the center of the city . And the air conditioner noise is very loud even if it goes after 15/20min. It also has some little insect in the curtain.

They are very kind people, and everithyng was good.

The man who takes the phone calls when the reception is not working is very rude and does not want to provide very simple information. I had to call the hotel several times and everzthime was the same from that man. Also, the hotel is only open until 9 p.m. and is closed on weekends. The reception sometimes does not answer the phone for a very long time. Sometimes you have to call for more than an hour to be answered. Very disappointing!

I arrived early and the girl at reception is very nice and gave me early check-in. Very big room.

It's a old hotel and there is a smell. The fan in the bathroom is very very loud. It's close to the station but far from the old city.

Nice and close to the main train station as well as buses and tram lines. Front door was locked so couldn't get in even though it was check in time.. Another guest staying in the hotel opened the door and called staff to come to reception. Room was great and recently updated. No kettle available (not listed as being provided).

The personnel is amazing. I checked in late, had lost some info I needed them to put on the receipt -they stayed patient and professional. All spoke English well and were helpful. Bedroom is the bare minimum, but the bathroom had obviously been renovated in the past years. Everything was kept clean. For the price, it's an excellent place to go to visit Heidelberg or go to an EMBL conference (close to all buses).

The floor is made of old carpet that triggered some serious allergies. No AC meant sleeping with an open window, which forced me to put some earplugs on (a few drunk ppl, as you would expect close to a train station). I regretted not having a kettle.

The location is the best part of the hotel. Just near the train station and food supermarkets and bus and trams.

No place in the room to have a cup of tea. No jug.

Staff was super nice and kind. Location is perfect, close to Central station and to many trams and buses possibilities. The room was as described, big enough and very tidy.

The bathroom had a hair dryer which worked for a few seconds and then would stop. Also, when taking a shower, there was a lot of water going to the other side so that was a bit annoying (glass containing water was too short in this room).

Location is not perfect if You're planning to visit old town. No air con in the room we stayed, so it was too hot, even with open window

Convenient for the main railway station and also public transport. Good shops and places to eat. Heidelberg is a beautiful city. Friendly staff and good breakfasts.

Some people might find it a bit old-fashioned. Not a problem with us.

Location is close to train station on walkable distance. Room was comfortable and reasonable size. I liked the decoration of hall. It's like a small antique shop. Free coffee is offered in the hall.

Reception didn't speak English. However it was still easy to communicate.
